All in all I liked the story. It is absorbing that you can’t put it down so easily. However the whole line of the plot seemed to be unconvincing. I wouldn’t like to spoil a fun so I’ll just say that I meant a motif for a crime, the whole resolution of the conflict and the idea of hypnotherapy. There were moments that appeared to be trivial but there were also good ones as some portrayals of the main character’s dreams. In fact I can’t also decide who I would like to recommend this book. It’s not a well-developed psychological novella nor a story for teenagers. Especially I had doubts about the ending whether the outcome of all these events was not accepted too easily and justified in an instant. There were suggestions that it can be questioned but still it appeared to be rather black-and-white.

This book has an atmosphere of fear, darkness and even helplessness to some extent. Eeva, a fifteen-year-old girl who witnessed the death of her mother and never knew her father, is struggling to regain control of her life both in her dreams and in reality. Julien Boyer constructed his main character in a way that is both very convincing and stirring reader's empathy. He explores here issues such as hypnosis, lucid dreaming or search for character's roots and identity, together with a very difficult moral dilemma of one of the characters. Surprises await you at the conclusion, as dreams and reality interweave more and more with each other. This is "Inception" on a smaller scale and in the literary form. Definitely recommendable.

Great story with a perfect ending. It's thrilling and exciting. Dark and mysterious. But still have funny moments in it so it isn't so hard to read. Quite the opposite; so fun that I managed to read it in a unusual short time.
