Tia Didmon has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Ella and Thorn. Thorn is a dragon spelled into the body of Ren, a wolf. He has spent 2000 years in this body and now Ren is dying. Ella has had Thorn as his wolf with her after he saved her from being attacked. She meets with Mara and finds out that she is the only one who can save Thorn and Ren. With the help of Draco and Cole, they set out to find what is needed in order to separate Thorn from Ren. There are others who do not want this to happen and will do anything to stop it. Ella finds out that she is Thorn's mate and comes from a long list of Druids and has magic powers. The first thing Ella has to do is find a herb that will start the transformation from wolf to human for Thorn. After they find the herb, they must find her disk. With every new clue they get, there is something trying to stop them. Ella is not too sure about her part in saving Thorn and Ren. She doesn't know how to do it. She gets help along the way from her friend, Adara.
They have a few twists and turn they must get past in order to complete what needs to be done.
Will Ella find what she needs to in order to separate Thorn and Ren?
Can Ella do what needs to be done in time to keep Ren from dying?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Ella Lake was attacked by a dark dragon and now barely leaves her apartment. If it weren’t for Thorn, the wolf that saved her from the dark dragon, she would see no one. She gradually ventures out to the bakery where she meets Zara and Mara. When she learns that they are Druid and Thorn is a dragon trapped in a wolf’s body she thinks she might be a little crazy! But she know’s that she has always been different and now she knows why. She is also Druid and Thorn is her mate. If she doesn’t claim him after her 23rd birthday he will die. It’s up to her to find the herb in the Amazon that will save Thorn. But alas, it’s not going to be that simple. This is a great adventure fraught with danger, mages and more dark dragons. Are Ella and Thorn strong enough to survive?

This is book four in the Dragon Rules Series, but can be read as a stand alone.

What an enjoyable book this was, there is drama, suspense, action, mystery, danger, magic, twist and turns and there is so much more and this makes it a must read. Ella Lake is an artist and a Druid who is brutally attacked but was saved by a wolf shifter who she later finds out that he is really a dragon shifter and with her help he can get his dragon back. Thorn is a wolf shifter that’s lost his dragon and with Ella’s magic she can help him get his dragon back by going to the Amazon and so they go on this quest together but an evil and powerful mage is using a dark dragon to stop them from getting Thorn’s dragon and the artifact. Does everything work out for these two fated mates and does Thorn get his dragon back there is so many questions that I’ll leave right here so if you want the answers get this book to find out.

I was hoping the next in series was about Thorn. His journey to an enchanting HEA.
Each story is a standalone, with a secondary (background) story. Each has a great HEA for the couple. No cliffhanger.
Lots of action, intrigue, romance, and a couple twists.
Loved the back story about his past. We get to learn more about how the dragons and druids work. How he became a wolf. How he became himself again.
Well written. Most of the story takes place in the Amazon.
I love how committed Thorn is to helping Ella. She has a past . And problems that she is trying to work out. Thorn is by her side all the way. She is clever and persistent.
The chemistry between the two is off the scales.

Ella is just now coming back to normal somewhat after she had been attacked. She goes to the cafe to get something to eat and drink when she sees Thorn is there. Thorn is a dragon shifter that has been spelled into a wolf form. He knows that Ella is his Druid and doesn't want to leave her side. Mara sits down with a friend to talk to Ella in the cafe. They tell her that she is the only one to save Thorn and the tell her what they know. Will Ella be able to help Thorn? Will they get a chance to be together?

This is an amazing story that will draw you in from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

First I have to say I loved this book, second I have to say I loved this book, third?! You get the idea lol I do admit to being late to the party and Thorn is the first book in the series I have read but I don’t feel that I have big gaps missing in the larger story arc. I loved the characters of Thorn, Ella and Ren broke my heart repeatedly until the very end when he made me smile and laugh. I loved the world created and now I’ve found it I will be buying the previous books so I can catch up while eagerly awaiting the next book.

Thorn is a dragon that is spelled into a wolf shifter of Ren. They save Ella from a dark dragon and realize that they are fated mates. Ella and Thorn are on a quest to find items needed to separate Thorn from Ren as Ren is dying. To save Thorn, Ella must also become his mate before her 23rd birthday. The characters are terrific, with great backstories and determination. The storyline is fast paced, action packed, with drama, danger, mystery, steam, twists, secrets and hidden agendas. Totally enjoyed the story and hope to read another in this series soon.

Now this one caught me out as she had come into her druid powers younger than all the others but Thorn was perfect for her, three things rolled into one. A dragon, a wolf and a man, all there for his druid and all three were in perfect agreement that she came first, even before themselves. But she was determined to be there for all of them, in the end.
I love the way her element came to her, she had it all at hand.

This is a story of Ella discovering that she is a druid and Thorn's mate. She has the power to help Thorn shift into a man. Their connection is has grown into a steamy relationship and Thorn helps Ella learn to use her magic as she has quests to do to save Thorn. The book is full of adventure with opposition from a mage who doesn't want Ella to succeed, and help from dragon friends who want Thorne to win. There are goddesses and puzzles to solve. Really enjoyed the book.

This is an exciting story filled with suspense, danger, and magic to keep the reader’s full attention. Ella Lake is recovering from a brutal attack. A wolf saved her, but she finds out he is not truly a wolf but is a dragon. She meets Druids Zara and Mara who become her friends. And she finds she is also a Druid. When they go to the Amazon to find an herb for Thorn, they are in more danger. Will they complete their quest, or will they be stopped by the evil mage? Will they discover the secret of their own relationship?

This is a standalone story and a larger series. I read several of this authors books including a couple from the series. Usually I really like them. I found this book to be lacking in the way it is written. There's good characters and the storyline/plot is good. However, sometimes if fell like the characters were following a step-by-step plan and there wasn't enough support between events for a smoother flow in the storyline.

Thorn saved Ella from a dark dragon felt only safe at home and at the cafe she went to. Thorn always met her there, then she found who she really was and had to save Thorn and his wolf. They went through quite a few adventures and trials to get where they needed to be and do what needed to be done. Couldn’t stop reading had to continue to see what happened next love the ending. I liked this book the best in the series, bringing together Wolf, Dragon and Druid. I always liked Thorn in the previous books, but to finally meet Ren was special. The previous books should be read before Thorn to get the full experience of the arc and its moving pieces. This has been a fascinating series was some interesting characters.

I totally did not spend the night hiding in the room that I finished painting the day before and lying to my family that I had to finish painting it to finish reading this book, you can prove nothing. This was good the fated mates trope is one that I love and this was so well done. This book is definitely in my top 10 of 2022. There was everything that I hoped there would be with this blurb and more.

Ella's character blossoms into herself beautifully and Thorn is a wonderful help in her becoming her best self.

The spice between them is hot without being overdone.

A great new book in the Dragon Rules series. Ella and Thorn have developed a bond, even if he's a wolf. When she is told that only she can save him, an exciting quest is undertaken. I really enjoyed this book, full of great characters and unique twists. I love this couple, they must be willing to overcome so much for each other.

I have waited for Thorn’s story ever since he saved Ella the artist from the dark dragon. You learn about what happened to Thorn and why he was cursed to be a wolf. You also learn how he can be cured. Ella is the key and it has to do with her powers. This story kept me flipping the pages until I was done, warning don’t read late at night because it is hard to put this book down. I enjoyed this story and loved meeting Ren. I would recommend this book and series.

I found this book to be amusing with clever characters and very interesting plot. Ella and horn are strong, smart and humorous. No constant bickering or over the top dramatics here, just a truly good story. I enjoyed the book and look forward to reading more about the Dragon Rules.

I have been fascinated with Thorn since the beginning and it is nice to read about his happily ever after. Ella had a traumatic experience and does not trust easily. Thorn has his work cutout for him. I cannot wait to read the next book.

Wow! Fantastic! Tia Didmon has written a terrific story. It incorporates a multitude of mythical creatures (dragons, wolves, druids, etc.) in a story about good versus evil. I truly enjoyed this book. I cannot wait to read more of her books.

This is another great addition to the "Dragon Rules" series. It is a stand alone read that is not an over long story and quick read. This is the paranormal story of Ella and Thorn. Brilliant Series

Thorn(Dragon Rules Series Book 4) by Tia Didmon. Dragon shifter Thorn jumped in front of his leader and took the spell the mage shot and now has a wolf inside of him. Emerging Druid Ella is his mate and can separate Thorn from the wolf but they must stay out of the way of the mage to complete the separation.

Wonderful action packed shifter romance. Thorn has been imprisoned for over 1,000 years in a wolfs (Ren) body & soul. Ella has no idea about magic but is suddenly thrust into a chaotic world. There’s suspense, intrigue, mystery and romance. I look forward to reading future books by Ms Didmon.
