I am Marie-Louise Damberte, a French novelist. I share my time between France and the States. I have strong roots in France, where I spent much of my childhood. I'm clearly fascinated with French culture. I decided to keep a house in France, even after I met my husband in Los Angeles.
Let's get one thing clear: I love the United States. I love the cultural diversity of its people, its dynamic nature, and the spontaneity and kindness of Americans. Yet I remain fascinated by the differences between the two countries. It's hard to accept the many clichés about France that I hear from my American friends. That's why I decided to help American readers discover the true France through my novels in the series Romance in France. My readers will discover what's not presented in the guides.
I take readers to Paris, to Provence, and elsewhere in France through the steps of my novels' American heroines who are visiting my country and certainly want to meet the celebrated French lover. You'll find the manager of a famous Paris nightclub, an architect, an antique dealer, a musician, a decorator . . . all from the comfort of your living room couch.

What a wonderful story, Marilyn who is a sales rep is asked to take a team to Paris to check out the stores varying their sports clothing line, and look for more opportunities. She fits in lots of sight seeing both with her co worker and native Frenchman Laurent, as well as Yann, owner of a night club. Yann woos her, with some steamy scenes including a masque ball, that has a wilder side to it behind the silk curtains. The ing has you wondering where book 2 will take you, sounds like there are some options for her.
Can you say “WOW”! I loved this book! If you enjoy a quick read full of heat this book is for you. What happens in Paris stays in Paris. If you’ve ever wanted to take an exciting business trip that meets all your needs without consequences you can live that through this story. Props to Marilyn for just going with the flow and trying new things and for not starting a romance with someone that could make her life complicated. Letting yourself go and be free to live in the moment is a dream for most women. And now you can let yourself go and enjoy as this brings Paris to life!
