Fascinated with the written word and its power to guide the imagination, I started writing short stories and later took Creative Writing classes in college. I graduated from The University of Iowa with a B.A. in Journalism and an M.A. in Higher Education. I also have a Teaching Credential from Chapman University in Southern California.

Book 1
When Chloe gets a job right out of college she is thrilled and her boss is smokin hot. When Patrick her boss finally lets her know he wants her, she is thrilled but there is someone who doesn't want them together. Feeling betrayed Chloe doesn't want anything to do with Patrick but what he confesses will she change her mind?
Book 2
After forgiving Patrick about the misunderstanding with the bitch Baroness only to her they she is with Patrick in Florida. With having her heart stomped on for the last time she quiets her job and just wants to be left alone. With finally getting ahold of Chloe, her friend Ryan offers her a job to go to Paris and she wants to get over Patrick and has an heated moment on the plane and finally in Paris meets Francisco, but it doesn't end well and Patrick comes and rescue her. With clearing the air Patrick is finally with Chloe. Just when they are happy something crazy happens. Can't wait to read what happens next
Book 3
With more determination to get back at the Baroness, Chloe & Patrick will do anything to get her out of the picture. Baroness is the most horrific person and so glad what happens to her. Chloe & Patrick deserve to finally be happy and to start a new adventure together. This ended perfectly and can't wait to read the next book
Book 4
Just when you think that Chloe & Patrick will finally have their HEA a woman from Patrick's past stands in there way. When a bombshell of a secret come out and not on threatens there wedding but also there company. Will Chloe & Patrick ever just be able to have there HEA? Can't wait to read the next book to see what happens
Book 5
With Patrick & Chloe expecting a baby they couldn't be happier but as always so is there to destroy their happiness. Elyse meets a sexy race car driver & likes him from the start but there is something about is cousin Nina that makes Patrick & Ryan think she is up to something. The ended killed me and dying to read the conclusion to this series
Book 6
With Chloe and Baby still in the hospital after her accident, Patrick will not leave her side. When Chloe waits up from being in an induced coma, she remembers nothing. Not wanting to stay in the hospital, Nina offers her place and hopefully can trigger memories. Patrick has his suspicion about Nina and when Nina comes onto him he now knows something is up. When finally the truth comes out, they finally get on with their lives? Patrick and Chloe have been through so much they deserve to finally be happy

A lot of grammatical errors. The books were good but the errors threw me off. I was thinking that the people who proofed the books did not pay attention well. I really like it that all 6 books were available as a set. The last two books were the best to me and had more dialogue than the first ones. I almost stopped reading them because not much was happening and they were starting to get boring. The last two made them worth hanging in there with them.

Chloe has a thing for her boss Patrick. When he invites her to different parties he tells her he wants her and the adventure begins with one of their clients baroness Vonclamp who has the hots for Patrick as well. When she successfully tears Chloe and Patrick apart, Chloe takes a job as an assistant for Patrick's gay friend Ryan in Paris. While there she falls for an artist who is,know for being cruel. When something happens to Chloe, Patrick is by her side in a heartbeat wanting to make up and get back together, where more adventures begin. Great read Loved this book

I so enjoyed this box set! It was a true love story with a great story line as well. Never a dull moment. Totally encourage anyone to read this one if you like stories of overcoming obstacles and coming out on top!!

Surprisingly Good
This was not what I expected, Patrick Collins was going to be an ass and use Chloe to his own needs when and wherever he wanted. Wasn't I surprised to find out Patrick is actually one of the good guys who actually fell head over heels in love with Chloe.
Unfortunately the path to true love is not an easy one especially for these two. An interfering so called lady who has more money then sense wants Patrick and she sets a trap to make it look like they are a compromising situation for Chloe. Bait taken and Chloe is heartbroken.
Chloe accepts a job offer in Paris which she hopes will help her get over Patrick and his cheating ways, but for her it only goes from bad to worse and resulting in her back in Patrick's arms.
These two couldn't have more bad luck if they asked for it, just as you think the are beginning to be happy another someone pops up from the past.
This was full of twist that I wasn't expecting. For a choice in between looking for a long series this was a good choice. I think I w ill be reading more by Eve Carter.

An outstanding read! From the first book to the sixth, Deceived has everything…romance, comedy and even a bit of mystery that will keep you turning the pages. Chloe and Patrick have built a solid foundation in their relationship but can it survive in the outside world. Will Patrick trust those from his past? Can Chloe accept his longtime friends as her own? The story takes you on a ride from their first encounter, through marriage and yes, even after. But will it be an easy journey or one that's destined to fail because of deception? Can Chloe and Patrick move past being deceived? Will they have their HEA! Lucky for you, this boxed set won't leave you waiting in suspense for the next volume! Eve Carter rocked writing these 6 books. I highly recommend this Box Set.

OMG this was the best box set ever!!
Chloe is a sweet girl from the midwest that lands a job in New York! She is smitten with her new boss but thinks he's way to gorgeous to be interested in a small town girl like her.
Patrick is Chloe's super hunky boss. He works for Meyer and Meyer. He's very flirtatious with Chloe and even tells her that there's this particular account he wants even if it means seducing the baroness. She thinks he's kidding, of course.
Absolutely hated the baroness, she's so evil! She makes you want to slap your kindle, yell at it, and shake it! lol
I felt like I was on a roller coaster during this boxed set! So many twists and turns and so many emotions on my part!!

Love, Love, Love
This story was a curl up with a blanket, cup of coffee, relax time kind of read. I like longer books that take you through several different stories through a relationship. This book took us through good times and bad times and made you feel a part of it. Patrick, you were a wonderful man and I really liked your friend and that he was your friend. Loved him very much. Chloe, you jump to conclusions too fast. You should have at least let Patrick explain. You would enjoy this book, so get it, you won't be sorry.

Really
This could have been a good series, but it wasn't. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either.
I read it all because I hate not finishing a book, but there were many, many points at which I could have stopped. It was predictable and felt like it was following some predetermined pattern. Some sex, a few pages of story then bam, yet another drama.
If all these things happened to one couple in two years it should be taken as a sign that something is wrong. It was drama after drama... Enough already....

Ok
It was ok it didn't keep me sucked in and some of the things they said were so cheesy. The book was almost predictable some of the story I like but then a cheesy line would kill it. The sex was hot at times but then someone would speak furnished trying to sound sexy and ruin the sex scene for me because again it was cheesy.

The trials and tribulations Chleo and Patrick go through to get together make an interesting story. However, towards the end of the boxed set of books, the pages of sex scenes just gets boring and repetitious.

Not very good...they fall in love in the first few pages of the book. No build up between characters. She is perfect and every guy wants her...meh...had to speed read and skim the rest of the book from around 40%.

Patrick and Chloe's story was very sweet. I think this book could have been a little shorter, because it was kind of drawn out. There was lots of things that came between them. It was good but just long.
