Brittany Putzer is an award winning author constantly turning to books to escape her dull suburban existence. She can be found most days, exploring new coffee houses and bookstores to pass the time. She craves caramel macchiatos, pumpkin spice goodies, and tall, dark, and fictional men (preferably in gray sweatpants). When she’s writing, her scribblings are dictated by her character’s persistent opinions and generous hearts (most of them anyway).
If she’s not writing, she’s soaring through the pages of other fictional worlds. Because of this, she’s also a lady of the night court, a scribe with an alpha shadow daddy (she’s afraid of heights so the other quadrant wasn’t an option), and a mafia princess with a touch her and die king. Additionally, Brittany loves the excitement of book conventions, both as a writer and a reader, where she loves to build everlasting friendships and eat tons of nachos and margaritas.

Plucked is a fun read with a strong heroine. We follow Ann as she continues to struggle with romantic relationships, palace life, and home life on her farm. I appreciate that Ann stays firm to what she believes, and doesn’t let anyone push her around. I’ve been team Ryan since the first book, but I did find myself liking another romantic interest a tad more than Ryan. I’m curious to see where Putzer takes the story in the third book. The ending also made my mouth drop to the floor, which I love with cliff-hangers. It was NOT what I was expecting. I’m giving this book four stars though because there were a few points where scenes shift quickly without a smooth transition. Or sometimes I thought characters had left, but they were back in the room without explanation. Overall though, if you’re looking for a fun, romantic, quirky read this is a good series to get into!

This series continues to carry you through plot twists and turns, with emotional ups and downs (and isn’t that what makes for a great story?!), and unanswered questions. Ann faces more than a handful of tough choices to make, with both her heart and her friends, and still manages to remain the intelligent and inspiring woman we’ve all come to know and love. With her palace friends at her side, and a new friend in the picture, Ann navigates the newest challenges in her life with grace and an admirable mindset. I enjoyed this story so much that I finished it in 2 days, and I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a strong heroine who is able to face realistic life challenges and still bring a smile to your face!

I got the privilege of reading an early copy of Plucked by Brittany Putzer. After much begging and pleading to know what happened after Feathered Dreams, she was kind enough to send me a copy.
Just like the first book in this series I read it all in one sitting. Loved seeing the continuation of Ann's story, and the new mystery plot that has unfolded. Needless to say I am now begging for book 3 😁

This is an entertaining read. I really think this series would make a great couple of movies. They are funny, creative and keep you ready for what Ann is up to next. It was fun to jump back into Ann’s story. This is a clean read. My only complaint is that I wish there was more!

How could you!!!! You know what I am talking about Mrs. Putzer ^_~ Warning keep a box of tissues with you while reading they will be needed. I thought book 1 had twists nope this book out did the first in twists. My mind is blowen and did not see some of the turns. I am still on Team Ryan, however, all they way on Ann's side as she continues this journey. I love books I can't put down.

It's hard to see how distant Prince Ryan is with Ann. Oh my gosh Snowball!!!! How sweet of Prince Christian. Dan seems sweet and very kind. How cute Vinny and Karen will be living close to Ann and her father's farm. I enjoy how everyone was there for Ann after she got hurt, but Lady Mary is annoying.. Holy Shit... Prince Ryan and Mary doing that to the king... just wow.. now Ann is hurt and feeling betrayed. I love how Ann was truthful about Prince Ryan and Mary. Why can't these two Princes stop hurting Ann... I hate this back and forth crap with Prince Ryan. Queen Elizabeth loves Ann and wants her to stay it makes me happy! Oh my gosh LITTLE PECKERS!!! I do like how Dan has helped and been sweet to Ann during the whole story. Ann holds a higher power than Queen Mary (haha) Holy crap!! Her father....
