This is a really great book on interviewing techniques to questions and answers. And it is currently (FREE) on Amazon as I am writing this review.
If you are like me where you are embarking on looking for a new job, that interviews always appear daunting. In looking for a book, I noticed that a lot of the books are 300+ pages long. Honestly who needs to read all of the pages about interviewing? Surely not me and I am pretty sure a good number of you don't need it either.
Author Jack Gray does an amazing job in his short book of 122 pages. There will be something questions and answers that will not apply to you but there will be plenty of information that will be perfect for you which I found for me. This book was extremely helpful and gave me a better understanding on the phone interview process as well. I have never really had to do phone interviews before but since reading this book I have had 2 and they both went very well in my opinion, meaning I was ready whereas before I would not have been.
My interviews that I am going on now, I am getting more comfortable with and more confident. I feel like I am better prepared and now since I am heading back to school it will be more of a plus for me.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is about to embark into their first job or if your changing careers or just looking for a new job. I believe it will definitely help you as it has helped me and countless others.
This book is for college graduates and employees who haven't had much experience in interviewing. It's not 37 ways to have unstoppable confidence. It's 37 tips for interviewing, which you should follow. If you're someone who doesn't think a cover letter is necessary or think that you can answer the "what is your weakness" question by using a strength (like "I'm a perfectionist"), you're not likely to follow the guidance in this book. Despite the exaggerated title, it is a useful, short book that covers the essential things that you should say or do for an interview.
I have this book on my Audible account. This book would help you become a pro not just with the in person interview, but also for phone interviews. It offers great techniques to nail your interview. So if you’re looking for a job, I suggest reading this book first. It is definitely a great help.
