Read this book and find an authorized or certified teacher of Ashtanga yoga from Sharath Yoga Centre and you will transform yourself and have good health.

This book mainly contains photos and basic descriptions of the asanas and a small amount of information about the eight limbs of Ashtanga, of which asana, or postures, are only one limb.

This is a practical guide to Ashtanga yoga by Paramaguru Sharath Jois, the grandson of the founder of Ashtanga yoga. He attracted thousands of student to his yoga shala in Mysore, India, who would return year after year for training.

Sharath Jois was often quoted as saying “Anyone can do Ashtanga - the young, old, sick, people with physical challenges - anyone.”

Lower quality book (build quality) as most of Sharath's merchandise.

Very sparse book describing the vinyasa counts for the primary series with some ancillary information.

Perfect minimalistic summary of the Primary Series somehow covering it all in under 100 pages
