Janie Sullivan's childhood nightmares are reawakened when she unexpectedly inherits the old homestead she thought had crumbled to the ground decades ago. Seeing the old house, nestled deep in the mountains of West Virginia, brings back a flood of memories. Joyous memories of a carefree childhood spent playing with her brother and sisters in the lush countryside are overshadowed by memories of one dark stormy night when their lives would be changed forever...a night that would pit them against an evil they didn't know existed on this earth. Will she be able to relive that dark night of terror and finally put her demons to rest? Can she ever lift the veil of horror that had been cast onto the place she had known and loved for so long...the place they called "Fox Holler."

I would recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in West Virginia and the paranormal. The story is wonderfully told and I read it through without putting it down once. I'll be checking out her other books and collections.
Lovely short story, sad in parts but a lot of happiness in the loving family, the story was well written apart from a few incorrect words that didn't bother me, it was a pleasure to read.
