This series went downhill for me but I am glad I finished it. I thought the story was very intriguing and I loved the world the authors built in Hell. But again the mate part just had me feeling meh. There were too many guys to ever feel like any of their relationships were developed enough. And then the war part of the story went iffy for me too since it was barely shown on page. It made the story feel really rushed since it mostly didn't take place on the battlefield so instead all of that was going on in the background while the heroine wasn't even there. Add in yet another thing that had me disconnecting from the story, which was Ama's mother, and I was just done with the book. I'd probably read more from these authors since I do still think the idea around the series was fun but I don't think I'd do another RH from them.

I don’t even know why I read this. It was so boring. The RH part really sucked. Way too many guys. When it’s more than 5 guys it’s just too much and none of the relationships really develop. The devil was such a disappointment. Why was he so boring and stupid?!?!

8 mates is way too many. More than 3 men in a harem feels like a team sport. Especially when all the scenes where MF except one short one. Homegirl has to be exhausted.

This was a really interesting series.
I really enjoyed it.
There are a couple things that would’ve ramped up that enjoyment even more…but it was still pretty good.
First off let me just say.
No group scenes.
Like none.
We get close twice. One of them in the last book where there were just two of them there with her. And one in this book where she does give the other a blowjob but it’s sort of vague writing about it.
Otherwise we just got one scene with each of the 8 guys before moving on to the next.
I’m starting to think that’s just how M operates. It was like that in another book I read from her, too.
Other than that little annoyance I really enjoyed the politics and world building and relationships. They were all so in depth and fascinating.
Honestly I think this series could’ve used another whole book for an epilogue and Then maybe I’d be satisfied.

Inheritance is the final book in the Monarchs of Hell series and it was everything I could have wanted in the series finale. Ama is separated from her mates, Luce is on the loose (hah, see what I did there), people are held captive, the guys are completely losing their shit, and war is happening. It was chaos, both physically and emotionally and I loved it.
Ama is a little spitfire, she had to be growing up in a place that mistreated her but it gave her a backbone and she is using that backbone to fight for not only what she wants but what she thinks is right. So the devil kidnapped her. So what if he's obsessed with her and borderline crazy, Ama isn't going to let the most powerful immortal being stop her from fighting beside the people she loves even if there seems to be something between them. Ama stands up for herself by making valid points through her observations. While she may be willing to listen to him, she also calls Luce on his crap. Ama sees the good in him and is waiting for him to make better choices, to give him a reason to see him as something other than selfish. Not gonna lie things between the two are crazy, emotions run high, mean words are said (no violence) but all hope may not be lost. I feel for all the things Luce has been through, after who knows how long (seriously how old is he?) he's been working through things alone now he might have a chance.
Dang it, Caulder and Sinclair really got me in the heart with this one. It's all the guys' fault. Finas (Fin), Adrien, and Damien have been strong in the feelings and commitment department from day one. Dreyven (Drey) had a lot to make up for, Colt and Jace messed up were making up for it but Nico messed up and is feeling the consequences of his actions but somehow manages to pull himself together in this book. No matter where they were at with Ama emotionally (and relationship-wise) they all felt her absence, deeply. The guys were a mess emotionally trying to deal with the fact that Ama has been taken and that she wanted them to continue with the war without her. Seeing each of the guys show how deeply they care for Ama was so touching and how they express how much they care had me swooning, I just loved it. Even after Ama gets back to her guys, things change and the bonds between her and them are stronger than ever, heck they even have a stronger bond with each other after having to lean on each other while she was gone.
The plot for this book kept me on my toes, I didn't expect the relationship between Ama and Luce to be so volatile (once again, not violent but toxic) and complex all at once. Seeing how they work through things was wild and then there was the whole war aspect with the guys, they stepped up. They did what Ama wanted and continued with the war, they came up with plans, got some intel, and implemented said plans. Seeing this side of the guys was interesting. There was one scene at the camp between Commander Pandora and one of her guys that felt like it should have gone somewhere but didn't and it's killing me not knowing what that argument was about. It's also pretty surprising to see how far the House of Runes (Fin's parents) is willing to go with their plans for taking over the realm. I already thought they were horrible people but what they do in this book, is unspeakable. Then there was the shocking little surprise that effects Ama's personal life, that I didn't see coming and neither did she. Not to mention the plot twist at the end that I didn't see coming but happened at the right moment and was kinda perfect.
This is it. R.L. Caulder and M. Sinclair have taken us on this crazy adventure with the Monarchs of Hell series and I absolutely loved every moment of it and thank gods for rapid release. The authors wrapped up the series fantastically with Inheritance it had drama, hot guys, steamy scenes with said hot guys, a few surprises, lots of death, and a shocking plot twist, I was enthralled. I loved getting to see Ama come into her own and find the love with the guys that she so richly deserves. I especially loved the two epilogues that showed a glimpse into their future. The best part is I don't even have to say goodbye, because the authors are extending the world with the Dark Imaginarium Academy series which I am unbelievably excited about, I'm hoping to see my favorite characters in the new stories until then I will be waiting.

Wowzers!!!
Couldn't put this one down as i needed to see how the series finished!
This is such an amazing triology full of brilliant world building and even more brilliant characters plus the banter and feels as done so well that the storey draws you in so much its like an addiction - you have to have the the devils clutches in order to save her people and find her way back to her men but Luc is so possesive that this isnt an easy task but as you know if you have read the other 2 books se just doesnt give up and is so adaptable.
i cant really say any more with out spoilers so just read teh books they are amazeballs!

Book 3 in the Monarchs of Hell series is a turbulent and exhilarating ride. Ms. Sinclair and Ms. Caulder have created an epic finale to the series. The storyline peaks beautifully and I remained engaged with the characters until the end. The ending left me satisfied with the conclusion of the Trilogy. I look forward to the authors collaborating in the future.

This was an epic final battle
At the end of the 2nd book, I felt a pull towards Luce so I was super excited to learn more about him in this book. His portion of the story was reflective of Beauty and The Beast, it was a bittersweet tale. Honestly, the more I learnt about him, the more I became eh.
We really saw Ama shine as a leader, it was nice to see all her mates collaborating and see how their POVs of others evolve with a fondness for another. Much like Ama, I truly have a soft spot for Fineas and don't tell the other - he's my favourite haha

Guys! If haven't started this series, you really need to, like right now! This was such an incredible journey. This whole series literally has everything from fantastic world building, HUGE character developments from both Ama and all of the guys, epic battle scenes, hot, hot chemistry between Ama and her guys, love and acceptance. What more can you ask for? Annnd there's a spin-off in the works?!?!? How did we get so lucky?

This was an enjoyable Trilogy! This book felt like it dragged a bit more with the back and forth at the beginning, but i liked how it all came together.
Ama was awesome, and i loved her mates. Luce was a great addition, and how he was handled power wise was great too. Can’t wait to see what’s to come in the continuation of this world!

This is the final book in this series, and wow it was devildamn amazing. I couldn't stop reading it. Ama is one truly amazing person. The growth of the guys will blow you away, and her newest mate? Let's just say that even he isn't immune to her.
The storyline is intense and will have you yelling because you can't believe they did that. I loved this book and series

Overall it’s a readable series. Problematic in that certain words or phrases are used over and over again. Do either one of you own a Thesaurus?
Lip biting. Lip chewing. Devilsdamned. Over and over again.
You are creative writers. Be creative.
I knocked a star off bc of that issue. I’m sorry but when you want to make a living off YOUR writing then follow some grammar rules and stop being simpletons writing lip biting and “devilsdamned” over and over again.
Ffs. It’s weird to me how writers that make money off of their books can technically write so poorly.
I also think it’s odd that they make this big deal out of the daughter Alora and then they don’t have a series dedicated to her? Or am I wrong? Alora is mentioned in their other series but I cannot find her own series anywhere.
Anyhoo. Readable. But not without its issues.

Oh my Devil!!!
I feel like I've watched five years of Marvel universe type movies and just watched EndGame with a F<"k that was unexpected 😲
People step up, others get the slap they deserve, and Finn keeps being scary sexy with his assassin. I'll kill you aura!
I got to know the guys so well I even have favourites. Mine being Luce, Finn, Damien, and Adrian... but I still weirdly like the others, Draen, Neo, Colt, and Jace.
Damn Aama, I'm jealous!
I've also found it rare how easily I loved our FMC Aama. Huge heart, but fierce, head hitting with wing, call you out, but will forgive when right, fighting killer Princess! How she opens up and is vulnerable while still shining her strength is endearing and inspiring. She's a leader naturally and a good one at that.
I laughed, cringed, swore, and clapped in this Paranormal reverse harem spicy and hot smutty book. I do wish there was more smut, but I have no idea where they would have time for it. I also wish those who hurt her suffered more, but realistically, revenge isn't always a nice slow they realise how messed up they will be soon, death.
In the end, I enjoyed the ending. This book closes up nice a tidy. It's satisfying and has a HEA. We get epilogues, too, but I will still miss these guys!! And!!! It feels like there could be more to come, afterall they are immortals, and a lot of things can happen in 100 years.

I think these authors have spoiled me with this quick release trilogy. The wait between books was still torture but at least it was a shorter weight than usual.
I adore these characters and how different they were from each other. Each had their own personalities and character development. If I read a point of view without knowing who it was initially, after reading it I definitely would have figured it out. Just great character descriptions and personalities.
This conclusion is exactly what I wanted. Conflicts were resolved, mysteries solved, and a few little twists and turns. One part of the ending was easy to guess but it didn’t make it any less enjoyable. It just added to the interest of what would happen. I wish there was a little bit more exploration after the happily ever after. And by that I mean I just wanted to see the interactions of all the characters and how their relationships change and the antics they got up to.

I laughed out loud reading it while imagining what was happening. The fact that there is now a spin-off series… I have never been more excited. I might be more excited for the spin-off. This means I don’t have to leave this world just yet and I’m hoping that we get to see a bit more of these characters.

Not Bad
Not a bad end to the series though I felt like some things took forever while other areas went more quickly than I would have liked. Overall Ama’s story is decent, has good themes, and good relationships. But the main issue throughout the series is that it isn’t completely fleshed out. It’s detailed enough and fleshed out a little bit but there was room for more depth and potential.
I disliked how Luce kidnapped Ama and then took her powers away. I disliked highly how the men were crabby, grumpy or said hurtful things but eventually just suddenly had a change of mind or suddenly changed their behavior bc she’s their mate and deserves everything but that bugged. It just didn’t have enough development for me to appreciate this approach to handling conflict.
The book is a bit preachy in that Ama is someone who can overlook or look past peoples failings and behaviors. People bullied her her whole life and she went and risked her mates and herself for them. To change their realm.

Wow a brilliant ending to this series. I loved the two different branches of this story at the beginning of this book. Ama's and Luce whilst her mates (Finias, Colt, Nico, Jace, Adrien and Drayven) are coping with up coming war. The budding relationship between Ama and Luce was not only just volatile but i couldnt help but feel a little bit sorry for Luce. He seemed genuinely lonely and devoid of any sort love in his life. It was touching in places.
This last book was chock full of fast paced action. All the loose ends were tied perfectly. It was just a great way to end this series. Im looking forward to whats coming next

I’m so glad this book was longer because I felt like so much had to be resolved!! Luckily, it was all wrapped up and I got to see an amazing amount of the guys and their dynamic including our bestie Luce. I loved this series, I think it had an awesome amount of plot to spice ratio. I think it gave me enough of each guy to make it feel like I didn’t lose anyone in the dynamic either. Only thing I would say is that there is not nearly enough group scenes for my liking in an RH, especially with that many men. BUT! I do get that some of them were getting used to the dynamic and sharing so I didn’t knock anything off my rating for it. Solid PNR RH!

- in a lucifer pov, the author has a paragraph that seemed to be in amare's perspective instead???? tgat threw me off
- there were reviews calling it juvenile but it wasnt distractingly so it was just very surface level YA
- there were pacing issues and explanation gaps but its not at all terrible
- like alot of books ive read recently it just needed to be longer and slowed down lol

Ok / easy to read series. Got me out of an almost book slump, the relationships were not developed enough I feel like the aim of this was quantity over quality which sucked bc the h had barely any quality time for each H. But plot armor, *they’re all mates* I thought it was ridiculous to smack another two down on the table when her plate was clearly too full as is.

I really could not tell you why I read this entire series. It was a very standard RH plot with no character development and a bunch of Insta love. Special snowflake vibes. Also who decided that all six houses had to have a kid at the same time? All six of them are 19? Also, why are they mortal? Where is the storylines and world building so many questions

I need more IMMEDIATELY. I hate that it'd over. Finn is my ultimate BOOK BOYFRIEND.
I loved how each interest had their own journey with her that wasn't wrapped up in each other.

Ooh this book is even better than the last. My emotions were all over the place. AMA and her men go through even more trials in this book. What a great ending to this series.

This quick release trilogy has been an incredible journey that I’ve absolutely loved. Epic conclusion to this trilogy starting out where the last book left off. Ama kidnapped by the devil himself while leaving her mates planning a war to protect their kingdom. The relationships continue to grow and it was so interesting to see Ama’s new bond with Lucifer and that she’s still no pushover! Great characters, an amazing storyline that just keeps pulling you in, twists and turns, spice, war, action you name it this series has had it. So excited to hear there will be a spin off series so we don’t have to leave this world too soon!

Disappointed tbh.. had so much potential and the premise was good, but the series is way too short for a war and relationship building with 8 (!) MEN.
