For the majority interested in exploring opposites.
I personally did not enjoy this book. This was more about certain aspects of tantra which human beings are curious and attracted to from the dawn of time and rules are bent as pe each wish.
Also this book is more about SOSA. if you want to practice it guided you may want to join pay money etc. (Atleast as per my knowledge ), these are very prevalent these days and many are now advertising "tantra" because of sensual/sexual aspects (although claiming both are same, major portion of book somehow points there to my minimal knowledge) which naturally is where human beings are attracted to and get more curious. Be it any other aspects of of tantra it would be hard to get an audience. Example let's say "to eliminate fear you should sit on a corpse and meditate" or "aspects of aghoris( they are also following some kind of tantra/mechanism)" if these were a hard rule, then most people would run away or claim "disrespect to dead" or claim them barbaric.
People should understand enormous penance was paid by ardent yogis. Not these upper middle class way of seeing in light happy mood and tailoring.
Also when the author brings in "quantum science" it is imperative to give a source for verification. As most of it gets into pseudoscience. Certain things are hard to be proven by authoritative science. I even personally know that, but evidence still is crucial.
Audience should be careful at the end when they see "attraction fades away when it is same". Does the author point out love (I would've rather call it making love) in monogamy or accepting polygamy ? This has been left to the understanding of the audience, which is clever.
This book is life changing. I’ve noticed huge shifts and learnt so much. Henika's mix of personal stories and practical tips helped me reconnect with my true self and find a deep sense of freedom.
It was hard to put down, the depth to which it balances relatability for modern lives with psychology, ancient philosophy and practices makes it really engaging to read. I constantly refer back to its pages and practices.
If you’re ready to overcome shame and live your life fully, this book is for you.
