Final Days

Comet Clement #6

by Kevin George

With only days remaining until Comet Clement reaches Earth, final preparations are made for the three arks. Even as the world waits to see if the last-ditch Domino Deflection attempt will work, pandemonium still erupts... Peter Mansfield is tasked with gathering the last group of people to leave the planet, the 'specials' who have ties to the space station that they don't yet know about. Mansfield has faced many difficult decisions over the years but will he survive long enough to make it to the station? All three arks face serious danger and not every member of the Inner Circle will survive through the final days as Comet Clement approaches Earth for the moment of impact.... I am loving this series. Such imaginative writing. Just have to move right along to the next book in the series. So glad I found it through a free offer on BookBub.

Enthralling read.

This book has you in tears, heartening moments balance the terror as people kill and destroy property. At the end Sarah Rose watches comet Clement explode across the sky. Look forward to reading book seven

The continuing saga of Comet Clement's trajectory to Earth, attempts to deflect it, and the spaceborne, underground, and undersea arks to attempt to continue mankind. Trouble brews. Lots of millionaires on the sea vessel but no naval engineers, the most knowledgeable engineer on the space station is locked up, and the underground ark has its own flaws. Expect mayhem and lots of death in ensuing books in the series.

Final Days (Comet Clement series,#6)

Comet Clement is hours away from impact, who will live and who will die? Will John and Colin trade be found out? There four arks, will the Chinese destroy the Americans' ark? Great story.

The apocalypse

Almost all was explained regarding the multiple characters that were introduced in the series. There were some unexpected and surprising revelations. Ther we’re also new events that lead to the next book

Final Days

If you want a great read that'll keep you on the edge of your seat, then this is definitely the book for you!

As Comet Clement is nearly upon Earth's atmosphere, two of the three arks are having issues. Will anyone survive this devastating event?

Series continues to be captivating

The author pulled some surprises in this episode of his series. And he was very detailed in telling the final days and hours of Earth.

Fantastic, 6 books in and impact, for the first time in the series there's been twists that I never expected, can't wait to continue this amazing adventure

One month, one week of life left.

In this series the author does a brilliant job of describing each person, place, and things in a way that is both captivating and interesting. This is my second in the series and I'm looking forward to the next one in order, as well as going back and reading some I missed before #5 was offered for free. I highly recommend this series. There are a few editorial errors, but the book was so good that it was easy to overlook them.

Content-quite enjoyable. Editing-sloppy

While I've enjoyed this series, I keep getting hung up on the exact same editing (lack?) miscue. Either the author doesn't know the difference between "past" and "passed" or the editor missed it each of the four times (in this book alone. I noticed the same error in a previous book). The comet didn't "past" the moon. It "passed" the moon. If not for these glaring editing errors, I'd give a higher rating.

The world knows the truth now that the comet will hit. We get a glimpse at the last days in each of the three arks as well as several of the main characters. The only thing that would have been more interesting would be a look at what the rest of the world was thinking or how they were reacting. There was only a minor glimpse of that. I would have liked more.

Good! I just want to keep reading.
