As far as short, BDSM serials go, this one was okay. It was predictable, but entertaining enough. This one is not unlike thousands of others that jumped on the post-FSOG bandwagon. Good, but not great.

Hanna Breckinridge moves to California to be her sister's business manager, leaving behind her middle-American roots. Her very first day on the job ends up being a trial by fire when her sister gets delayed due to car problems, leaving Hanna to step into her shoes at a business party.

It is at this party that Hanna first meets Cross Phillips, a billionaire Dom. He has mistaken Hanna for her sister, also well-known in the BDSM community. Cross is looking for a challenge, but sets his sights on the naive Hanna.

When Hanna is drugged and her sister goes missing after the party, she is forced to rely upon Cross. He keeps her safe and supports her through the crisis.

Of course, sparks fly between the two. In no time, Hanna is experimenting with BDSM. Cross and Hanna don't waste any time getting down to business.

There is a little contrived drama to create some push/pull. However, there was nothing that was surprising or original about this storyline, in my opinion. It was alright, but nothing new.

Overall, it was an okay read. If you're looking for something in the billionaire Dom trope that is predictable, this is decent. It is quick and relatively entertaining.

M.S. Parker knocked me for a loop with this one. Seriously, genius.

The Billionaire's Sub is an incredibly well written story that will grab you from the moment you start reading, and not let you go until the very end. I was so captivated by not only the storyline but the intriguing characters that I could not put this book down the entire time I was reading it.

The chemistry between Hanna and Cross was so intense and magnetic it practically leaped off the page. Intrigue and mystery filled the storyline and will not only keep you guessing but biting your fingernails while riding the edge of your seat. This honestly was one of M.S. Parkers best books, with each new novel she writes her stories gradually get better and better.

This is definitely one you do not want to miss.

OMG, this was such a fantastic read. It had this erotic flavor woven in along with a great storyline and awesome MC and supporting characters that make this a great read. Hanna hasn't seen her sister for about five years and is looking to getting closer again to her and getting reacquainted with her. Things seem different about her sister. Instead of her sister picking her up at the airport, she gets her sister’s assistant, then Juliette offers her a job in her company filling in for the time being. Hanna takes it so she doesn’t have to run home and work the family business. After being in Hollywood , she works a party for her sister and is mistaken for her sister by this man named Cross. He is seductive and powerful. He makes this offer which she mistakes for a real job offer until her sister finally comes clean with what he really meant. Then Hanna gets her to take her to this club and that is where the story takes off and wow does it. Think 50 shades and oh my… Cross Phillips is a man you want in your bed day and night. Hanna and Cross light up this story and make it fantastic. And I would love to read a book about Juliette, she comes across as very interesting. This was off the bomb, exciting and erotic. One that is a must read.

My rating: 4.8 stars ****

WOW, did I ever love this book. With a 50 Shades flavour, M.S. PArker has given her readers a damsel in distress story, that was not easy to put down when I needed to sleep for the night. Cross the Billionaire Dom, is completely moved when he meets Hanna at first thinking she was her sister Juliette. But once realizing she was a submissive little lady with very little experience in life, Cross kept her close to his body and in his heart.

"I'd never felt so free in my life." "I wanted that sort of connection with someone. I just hadn't realized I'd been missing it until now."

"There was nothing gentle or hesitant about this kiss. It was all-consuming, a hunger that I'd never felt before."

"Even with everything going on...even with all my fears and uncertainties...I wanted him."

"But there was something to be said for being able to relax into his touch, to know that he would look after me."

Excellent story and a wonderful gift for this gifted author's readers.

When Hanna moves across country to live with her sister, she had no idea what life would bring, or what she would learn about herself. When Cross, a billionaire, takes interest in her and wants her submission, will she act on her feelings, and is this really for her?
When her sister disappears she´ll learn just how capable Cross can be.
Contemporary romance, dominance and smut in a great combo.

The ending had an unnecessary drama, which kind of spoiled it for me. But otherwise, it's not bad! Review at some point.

I received this book for free to give my True and Honest Review, thanks M. S. Parker

Oh wow if 2 people were destined to be together it's these 2. That's Hannah and Cross.
We first meet Hannah when she moves to Hollywood to become her elder sister Juliette's business manager, (who left home to go to college and hadn't really been home since).Who's PA. Emmalyn picks her up from the airport which she feels STRAIGHT away that she didn't like her and there was something off about her towards Hannah.
We see more when it's time for Juliette's BIG Party, where it's Hannah's first time to help host it, especially when Juilette didn't turn up and she had to run it but with the help of Emmalyn and she meets Cross who proposition's her to be his 'Sub'.
Anyways when she gets home she learns that Juliette's van 'broke down' & that's why she was unable to make it. Hannah mentions to get about Cross' proposition & that's when it clicks to Juilette that he thought Hannah was her as he's never met her before, but they also look like each other EVEN IF he did know what she looked like as even though there's 5 yrs between then, they still look identical. And this is where Juilette tell's her she's a Dom and he was wanting her to be his Sub.
We see Juilette take Hannah to The Club where she see's what actions they give and receive, which Hannah is amazed that it turns her on, so she decides to stay and have a couple of drinks whilst Juilette goes off with a sub. After a couple of drinks and Hannah decides to go then all of a sudden she starts feeling all fuzzy and wire drunk which doesn't ring true as she ONLY had 2 drinks and this is where Cross see's Her trying to get a can but looks as if she needs help, which he's so glad he picked her up as she's talking nonstop then suddenly falls asleep and can't wake her. She wakes up disoriented naked in a strange bed, then some of the things that happened the previous night came back, when she see's Cross and tells him she needs to get back home as Juilette will be worried she rings her to let her know but it's Emmalyn that picks up saying she had to drop some paperwork for Juilette but she's not there though her purse and phone is. This is the start of Cross'and Hannah's relationship. This is where he starts to do any and everything NOT JUST top help try and find Juilette and see if Hannah hit drugged and find out all that and who is happening. But oh so much more for Hannah and Cross. They start becoming Dom and Sub, he teaches her things that she's ever had or not as is the case for her, where they become closer and closer whilst the 7-10 days when Juilette's missing, when Cross' PI finds that Juliette's van didn't break down her brakes were cut and that she had a stalker who he thinks is get old Sub who she cut ties with. He gets his call records & when he relays the number he's been ringing it's Emmalyn's number, so the 2 of them are involved and drugged Hannah some how to kidnap her as well, which sends a child diver down not just Hannah's but ESPECIALLY Cross' & this is when he realises that he wants her to be his partner not just as a Sub but as his actual life partner.
Juliette's found and safe and the 2 are found guilty, she also has a new surprise boyfriend Michael who is also her Sub and is there for her during all the court case. It takes Juilette a good while to happen to like Hannah's and Cross' relationship but she gets used to it, which is very lucky considering as these two are practically joined to the hip as well by 'The Diamond Collar'

With Hanna moving to LA to work with her sister, this is what she needed. When going to a job her sister has problem and Hanna has to step in which doesn't sit well with her sisters assistant. While stepping in for her sister, Hanna meets the sexy Cross Phillips and has a proposition for her only it's not for her but her sister. With learning that her sister is into BDSM she asked to go to the club and get a taste of what her sister likes. There she sees Cross again and her sister warns her to stay away from him. But when her sister goes missing and her drugged Cross steps in to help her out and find her sister. Cross feels something for Hanna but will it be a one time thing or could it be more? It was a good story but flowed fast. I like Cross and Hanna and how they are together and him teaching her. It was a good story.

All in all okay plus!
Misunderstandings and emotionally immature people grumps me out, so that ended things on shaky terms. I’m never sad about the idea of a rich Dom scooping me up in a moment of need though💅🏼 I guess I’ve just never needed it enough, but I’ll be patient!

Meh, it was ok. Boring first half of the book, which was very short to begin with. The storyline was alright, but I found it too similar to 50 Shades of Gray. Reading this book felt like deja vu, and not in a good way.

I loved the characters in this book! There was a bit of everything, from the young and naive Hanna, the tough, if not a bit on edge and OCD, Juliette, and of course, the totally unknown, Cross. Hanna has finally finished with school, but she's not ready to move back in with her parents where she feels smothered. She is totally ready to experience life and all that it has to offer her, so she's off the LA to "help" her older sister Juliette by putting her degree to use and being her temporary manager. Little did she know just what "life" had in store for her. After a week of gruelling work, a proposition from the handsome Crossand some difficult discussions with Juliette, the two women decide to blow off some steam at a club. Not your normal club mind you. When Cross finds her outside the club soaked and looking lost, he bundles her up into his limo and takes her home. Only the next day do they realize Hanna had been drugged all hell has broken loose when they discover Juliette has been kidnapped. Lots of suspense and action going on as Hanna and Cross discover each other in ways they never would have imagined, only hoped.
A wonderfully written story that flows smoothly, yet packs a punch. Once I started reading, I had a difficult time putting it down, even though my eyes were closing all on their own. M.S. Parker has outdone herself.

Sisters

When Hanna graduated, she went to visit her sister Juliette. Hanna started working for her sister. It took her a week just to get the books in order. Her sister asked her to start the catering affair while she went to get the centerpieces. Julliette's truck broke down. Hanna had to do the entire catering affair. When checking things over she ran into a man. He gave his card. When the sisters got back together, Hanna gave her his card. Juliet said to stay away from Cross because he was bad news. So the story begins. So much happens in this story it is so good. Even with BDSM the storyline is great.

I expected some yummi guilty pleasure romance featuring a spunky heroine and a rich and kinky dom. As it turned out, I was totally bored by this story and its stereotypical, bland and cartoonish characters. What irked me most was the heroine who - long before they had sex, or got to know each other - was hoping for a long-term "thing" with the hero. DNF at 80%

The Billionaires Sub

While the bones of this story were good. It felt rushed and lacked details to make this into a great book. The bdsm details were very shallow. The title suggested something entirely different than what I got out of this book.

Wasting my time by pretending

With a title like “The Billionaire’s Sub”, you’d think there would be a lot more erotic scenes with the sub actually submitting. Nope.- hardly any. This is a breezy little romance novel pretending to be erotica. Please stop leading people on.

Good Story Ruined by Inattention From the Author

Look, the storyline itself and the characters were all good. What ruined it and dropped it from five stars to three was M.S. Parker's inability to remember what she'd already written and stick to the facts she'd already established. And, of course, as always, errors that would've been caught by an editor if she'd bothered to use one (or a decent one, at least).

Also, in the information about this book on Amazon, it says the book is 208 pages long, but in actuality, it's barely even 200. The 200th page has a few sentences on it before the book ends, which is why I say it's barely 200 pages. Why she lied about the length of the book, or more than likely, based on everything I'm about to discuss, she forgot, is beyond me, but either way, it's irritating.

*SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT*

At the end of this book, M.S. Parker includes a lengthy excerpt from the 2nd book in this series. This is where the glaring inconsistencies become apparent. Since she decided to include the excerpt from book two, I'll be discussing it in this review as it pertains to the details in this book. There are quite a few inconsistencies and they effect what happens from book to book enough that I seriously began to wonder if two separate people authored the books. Either a significant amount of time passed in between the writing of the two books, or M.S. Parker just doesn't care enough about her stories or putting out a quality product for her readers enough to pay attention. Let's dig into it.

In The Billionaire's Sub (which shall heretofore be referred to as 'TBS'), it was said that Cross' parents died in a car crash, but in the excerpt for book two, it's suddenly changed to a plane crash.

At the end of 'TBS,' Cross asks Hanna to move in with him and she accepts. He even tells her he wanted to ask her the day he collared her, but because of what Juliette was going through with the trial, he knew the sisters needed each other, so he'd waited till the trial was over. Yet in the excerpt for book two, it says she still lives with Juliette. What the what? And it's not an inconsequential thing either. It has quite the impact on many things that happen in the story. Now, giving M.S. Parker the benefit of the doubt, it is possible that for some reason, she decided to make Hanna change her mind and decide to stay with her sister. But If you're going to have a character change her mind on something this major that affects the story quite a lot going forward, you HAVE to address it for your readers! Somewhere within the first few pages of the book, you need to explain that Hanna has changed her mind because you literally ended thing in 'TBS' with her accepting Cross' invitation to move in with him, but open book two with them living separately! It's confusing and irritating, to say the least. It also makes it hard to trust anything the author tells us throughout the books because who knows if they really happened if she just changes them willy nilly!

During the very first sex scene in the excerpt from book two, Cross starts to give Hanna a rim job, and she thinks to herself that Cross had talked to her about wanting to do this, but up until just then, it had only been talk and hadn't happened, so she was kind of surprised. However, in 'TBS,' the night before Juliette is found, Cross not only gives Hanna a rim job, they actually go on to have an*l s*x!

In the excerpt from book two, Hanna and Juliette are talking about Hanna's fears that Cross doesn't want or see a future with them and she actually says, "...it's not like I'm asking to move in with him..." except HE asked HER to move in with HIM and she said YES in 'TBS'! If things had been kept consistent from book to book, this conversation wouldn't even have happened because Hanna would know Cross is serious about their future because he DID, in fact, ask her to move in with him and she freaking said yes! It's so irritating that M.S. Parker just acts like book one never even happened! It really breaks me out of being immersed in the story when things aren't kept consistent!

And finally, after Cross and Hanna have a fight in the excerpt from book two, Cross is at the club wallowing in self pity when another Domme and her sub approach him to say hi. This is a couple we met in 'TBS,' Miranda and Jason. He's been referred to as Jason numerous times, then all of a sudden it switches to Paul (all within the same few pages) before switching back to Jason again! So not only can't M.S. Parker remember what she's written from book to book, she can't even remember what she's written just a page ago! Seriously, where is the editor in these books? It's really just inexcusable! Especially when you're asking people to pay money to read your books!

This wasn't as horrible as I feared. Treats the BDSM lifestyle with a modicum of respect and does not portray those in the lifestyle as a bunch of narcissistic deviants. Rather simple plot, and a not too hard to guess crime of passion. Sex is frequent and is safe for the most part until the couple is committed and then condoms are no longer used. For a book about the BDSM lifestyle, the sex is fairly mild with none of the harder or edgier practices that tabloids, books and magazines like to blow out of proportion. No gay sex or any group action, so if those are your kinks you will need to look elsewhere. I didn't find the book particularly erotic, but then I am a tad jaded YMMV. I am glad that I got this book for free otherwise I would have been disappointed.

This book had a few different elements - underlying mystery, introduction to BDSM, billionaire hero with a small-town inexperienced girl. It was nice to see a woman in a Dom role (the heroine’s sister), beyond a passing minor character. There weren’t really any surprises and the book moved at a jilting pace without good flow at times but the story was still interesting. HFN that apparently continues in book two. Written in first person POV (all from Hanna’s POV). Decent amount of sexy scenes, some better written than others (also some flow issues with these). Overall, it was entertaining. 3.5 stars rounded up.

Wonderful beginnings

I enjoyed this book greatly. Hannah had been sheltered by her parents and brother so that she was naive when asked to be a sub, she had no clue as to why she was asked or what was expected. Once she had talked to her sister and found out the truth of Juliana' s sexuality she began to understand and wonder what it would be like. Cross happened to be there at the right time to help her out and to
begin her training as a sub. This book was truly hard for me to put away.
