Okay... It's A Comedy Is It? - NO
-Extras, (British TV Show)

So, let me start with this.
I got this book because it sounded funny.
I thought this was going to be a humorous book that pokes fun at pandemics - specifically COVID. and makes funny jokes... I don't know, something like that?!

...Well, was I ever wrong.

This was just a book that poked fun at policy and was really a book that was made for people who are COVID deniers. The type of people who protested against mask wearing.

Anyways, onto the review:

The Politically Incorrect Guide to Pandemics is a polarizing read that will likely not be for everyone.

Despite its humor and humorous intent in the title, it is not a lighthearted take on pandemics, but rather a book that challenges mainstream views and policies on COVID-19 and its impact on society.

The author, Steven Mosher, takes a critical approach to some of the actions taken by governments and health organizations and offers alternative perspectives that may not be widely accepted.

Despite having some divergent views, the author does not shy away from criticizing China's handling of the pandemic, which is a topic often avoided in the current climate.

While some may find the book insightful and thought-provoking, others may see it as a partisan, and even dangerous, take on a serious issue.

Overall, it was an interesting, if controversial, read for those seeking a non-mainstream perspective on pandemics.

Pure, evidence free, rubbish. It is shameful that goodreads would promote dangerous trash of this nature.

Very interesting read, and reminder of how crazy the non-pandemic of 2020 on was. This author goes a bit too far (for me) on China as the deliberate bad guy. But it is a good survey of the science.

Liked it.

Informative. Didn’t agree with everything, but I especially found the history and differences of past pandemics interesting when compared with 2020.
