Negatives & Poitives
I was so disappointed with this book I seriously considered putting it into my 'Dnf Graveyard'.
I read the 1st 2 books in October 2016. I was very impressed with them even though book 1 had a lot of errors, etc. Come to find out I had accidentally received a pre-edited copy. The author & her team saw the problem and sent out the revised copy. I was impressed by the authors imagination and the actions of her team. As soon as this book was listed on Amazon I pre-ordered it. But, by the time it finally came through I was in the middle of reading other books and it took me till July to get to it. I was so excited to finally get to read this.

It started out fantastic with action and suspense.
Then fell & continued to fall in a quagmire that sucked the life out of the story.
There is a massive lack of coherence. A lack of world and character build and sudden changes of characters that aggravates the reader.
There are numerous typos, editing errors and improper sentence structure. Things suddenly pop up in the story like an errant thought. Occasionally there is stilted language.
And my biggest pet peeve, overly repetitive.
I understand wanting to create twist and turns. Those are the things that can really add to the suspense and tension of a story. But they must have a foundation. None of these do and they just make you sigh in frustration.
I am so very sad about this. She had a great series here and for some reason let the ball drop.
The potential was amazing.
Unfortunately its time to lay this series to rest. I picture a viking funeral while a dirge is played and sung. Arrows flaming and tears.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a book with one too many elements making it a bit of a challenge to really bond with the characters because too much is constantly happening and you start needing a spreadsheet to keep up with all of the new info that is just lobed at you.

Olivia is supposed to be this dominate in the boardroom you are told this you do not at anytime actually see Olivia in action in a boardroom. She has a Board of Directors/Dictators as they order her to take a vacation, I mean really. We are never really given a reason as to why she is being forced to take a break. They send her to Alaska to “hike” Mt McKinley. That is a 20,301 foot mountain that you train months to climb with loads of gear, not a casual hike. Anyway we meet Olivia as she is running for her life when the members of her hiking group are killed. Olivia is trying to keep it together as she realizes the attackers are vampires. She keeps seeing a black wolf dogging her and she is panic running towards a mountain.

Bodvar/Blue is a werewolf/berserker that has been trying to lead Olivia away from the mountain, while he is impressed with her strength and tenacity he realizes her presence by those that live in the mountain may get her killed. After dispatching the vampires he now has an unconscious Olivia to deal with. Blue knows her presence in the mountain will lead to many questions and a lot of anger from those that live there.

Once in the mountain and conscious Olivia realizes that she is now among werewolves, less than a week ago she didn’t know that vampires were real now she is contending with the knowledge that werewolves are also real. Once she is clean and mobile she and Blue come face to face. As he has made her his responsibility while she is in the mountain he lets her know that she is answerable to him. Olivia is a strong independent woman and does not take to kindly to being told she has to answer to him. The two of them strike sparks off of each other. She wants to leave and head back to NY to forget everything that happened in Alaska and Blue wants her to stay so he can protect her and love her. Blue realizes that Olivia is the one for him and he knows convincing the modern female that she is his will take all of his patience.

This story like I said has so many elements see if you can follow along, we have vampires/hunters, werewolves, berserker/werewolf, hyrid werewolf/vampire, witches, witches that are seers, reincarnated Inca goods, Artemis reincarnation, astral projection, different astral planes and I am sure I am missing a couple of deities and some minor demons, long lost family members, unknown family members, mafia connections, ex-husband that tries to be a jerk, very domineering Board of Directors/Dictators and lets not forget Blue’s dark BDSM side. All of these elements slammed into this story that just spins from one point to the next to the next that after a while you just start flipping pages hoping to find something to latch onto. Just as the story calms down and you start getting a handle on the direction of the story it tangents off again and you a left exhausted trying to keep everything straight in your head.

The author could have left some of these elements out and maybe use them in two or three other books. Trying to connect with the characters was a bit of a challenge. While you got that Olivia had a backbone, she was a bit wishy washy with Blue, one minute not wanting him the next getting ready to rip out the eyes of any woman that looked at him. She had a very rude abrupt moment on the private plane as they were leaving Alaska with a female flight attendant. Her behavior made no sense.

Blue on the other hand while very large in human form and a bit scary in his berserker form was really a big softie inside. Once he figured out Olivia was his mate he did everything he could to protect her and show her he cared. His really dark BDSM side wasn’t all that dark he liked Shibari and having his mate depend totally on him. He knew with Olivia he would have to alter some of it to fit with her personality but he was willing to shift and make those changes. So this really dark element that he felt made it hard for a woman to be with him didn’t turn out to be that dark. I am so glad that the author stayed away from the usual spanking that seems to plague every book trying to have a BDSM element; this alone made me not go lower than three stars.

The rest of the story in some areas contradicted itself as it progressed. All of the twists and turns I think was supposed to add suspense and tension just succeeded in keeping the reader from engaging. For me the story was closer to a two and a half star rating, I kept it a three because while a bit boggy it wasn’t totally awful (I have read worse). It had too many elements for me to totally bond with the characters others may have no such issues.

I received this free for an honest review.

Really liked this well written book. It is full of action from start to finish with Berserkers, werewolves, vampires/hunters, witches and gods..... all vying for the bow and arrow of power.

This is the story of Olivia Esmerelda Vasques, a sassie, headstrong, "in control" character and Bödvar (Blue) Varangian who is a dominant, arrogant wolf/berserker. As the story unfolds they learn to compromise...........(but not in the bedroom!) Even though Blue is dominant i love the fact that Olivia is no walk-over.

There are a few twists and turns in this story and a couple more characters are introduced. It was also great to catch up with some of the others. The interaction between the characters was smooth and easy to read.

I would definitely recommend this story but i would suggest you read the others first so you get the full benefit of the saga as it unfolds.

Looking forward to the next in this series.......

When vampires rip people apart at Olivia’s camp she’s on the run for 3 days not knowing if she saw what she thought she saw. For 3 days Olivia is being followed not knowing if it’s the vampires or the wolf she saw, but there aren’t no such things as vampires are there? But she is being followed by a big black wolf, Bodvar ( Blue ) is part Berserker part wolf and he’s the one following Olivia around to make sure she’s safe. Olivia walks right into Blue then falls on her butt and passes out, Blue knows that Olivia is his mate and even though she is attracted to Blue she still wants to leave him. That’s all of the spoilers I’m going to give, this was a fantastic read and there was no way I was putting this book down until I was finished. I definitely recommend this book.

I loved this book the chemistry between Olivia and Blue was steamy. Olivia is such a strong and independent woman and Blue, well what can I say about him other than he's just perfect.

Early Review! Dire Cravings (Arctic Wolves #2) Tigris Eden

The newest Arctic Wolves story will have you craving more. Tigris Eden’s world is full of some unique elements that add something extra to the story and the world is full of strong, fascinating characters draw readers in and refuse to let go.

Blue and Olivia compel readers to fall for them as they find themselves facing dangerous adversaries, prophecies and secrets that could destroy them all while trying to navigate their explosive chemistry and undeniable attraction. The story is full of red hot passion and some super sexy scenes that include light bdsm, and lots of emotional turbulence as Blue and Olivia, who are from two different worlds find themselves dealing with not only an attraction that threatens their self-control but a situation that keeps spiraling out of control that has readers empathizing with their situation.

The fast paced plot is full of adrenaline pumping danger and action that keeps readers glued to the pages and lots of surprising twists that keeps readers guessing throughout. The arctic wolves find themselves with more questions than answers while facing their enemies as more information is revealed with betrayals adding to the mayhem.

Tigris Eden does a great job of setting the scene and the mood which enables readers to really become caught up in the fascinating tale because they can pictures the events as they happen. I was getting quite impatient while waiting for this story but I must say that it was worth the wait and I can’t wait for the next book in the Arctic Wolves series.

Dire Cravings and the Arctic Wolves series definitely has an audience, that is obvious from the review ratings – yet that audience does not include me.

I picked up this title as an e-ARC, and because I like to start a series from the beginning I picked up the other two stories as well from Amazon. It didn’t take long into the first story to realize that this wasn’t going to be a series that I would enjoy. Because this one was an ARC, I feel obligated to give a review – it won’t be harsh, simply realistic for my own tastes.

Dire Cravings (and the rest of the series) is what I would consider in the “it’s a good book but not for me” category of my reading tastes. And, no, it wasn’t the sex. Heck, I like sex and the occasional kink as much as any reader of erotica. This series, this story is simply too crowded for my enjoyment. There are so many paranormal characters from werewolves, vampires, witches, several deities and even more that the story became overcrowded for me. Paranormal Romance, particularly shifters, is my first reading love – but it felt like every paranormal creature known and unknown was represented in the Arctic Wolves series. And none of them got the full attention that was needed for me to care one way or the other about the people populating this book.

So, I’m simply going to call this one as a good story that has an audience that will enjoy it – and move on. As with any review it isn’t my opinion that matters – you the reader, it’s your opinion, your tastes in books – that is what is important. You may completely love this story, and that is perfectly fine. It simply wasn’t a story for me.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

When I first found Dire Cravings, it not only sounded good, but I also thought that I had read and enjoyed Tigris Eden before, so I didn’t feel any hesitation in getting this book. But while I do have the first book in the Arctic Wolves series, I realized that I hadn’t actually read Ms. Eden before picking this one up. I can’t say that I’m upset about that though because I completely loved Dire Cravings! It was amazing, interesting, and I’m so glad that I didn’t miss out on this story!

I love both Blue and Olivia, but I love Olivia just a little bit more, so I’ll talk about Blue now. Just because I loved Olivia more doesn’t mean that Blue isn’t just as much of a boss because he is. He’s fierce, powerful, and commanding. Blue’s dominant and demanding but he’s also sweet and patient. It’s not difficult to see that Olivia is his whole world and it was impossible not to love him for that.

Olivia is every bit as fierce, strong, and determined as Blue is. She’s calm, rational, and a bit stubborn, but she knows when to fold. Olivia isn’t someone to stand idly by and even though she knows her mind, she becomes stronger and better by the end of the book. Olivia is just the bomb and I wholeheartedly loved her!

I love reading paranormal and Ms. Eden without a doubt made Dire Cravings her own. It was beyond interesting, exciting, and original. There was never a dull moment, it was full of passion, banter, action, and suspense. It sucked me in and I didn't wanted to stop reading until I was done. Dire Cravings was such a wonderful story and I can’t wait to go back now and read the first book or any new ones that come out!

Dire Cravings is the second book in the Arctic Wolves series, but it can be read as a standalone. It’s told from Blue and Olivia’s POV and they do get a happy ending.

Wow!!! Dire Cravings by Tigris Eden was everything I had hoped it would be. It's Blue's story and it like him is amazing. Blue is a berserker wolf made by Odin himself. Even though Blue is a lone wolf, he is completely part of Clan Denali and Pack Canidae's family he just doesn't realize it yet. Olivia is a human from New York. She has come to Alaska on a forced vacation. Olivia has no idea that Werewolves, Hunters, Witches or other paranormals live in the world. Boy is she in for a rude awakening. Blue and Olivia's story will grab hold of you and take you on an amazing ride. It is full of ups, downs, twist and turns, heartache, betrayal, family drama, lust, lite BDSM, back stabbing, gods, past and future events, secrets, lies, and love. There is literally something for everyone. Just when you think you know what's next and who is who wham you are wrong. Tigris Eden has developed an entire new world for her paranormal series. Her Artic Wolves series is so unique. The back story of the Artic Wolves is completely new and fresh. It's founded in ancient lore, in the old gods. It brings together mythology in ways that have never before been told. I can't wait to see what is going to happen. The imagination is wide open and only Tigris knows what's next. With every book, the story grows and the Artic Wolves series becomes More. So much More. I received an ARC from the author. This is my voluntary honest review.

Olivia is forced by her company to take a vacation. She goes to Alaska, on a hiking trip. Her entire camp is killed and has been on the run for three days from what looks like vampires but can’t be because they don’t exist. She has a huge wolf chasing her so she heads for the mountains but runs smack into a making Viking god. Blue is thousands of years old and is a werewolf, man, and a beast. His beast is a berserker and others are warriors. One glance at Olivia and he knows she’s his mate. Convincing her is a whole other story. She is put into a world of vampires, wolves, witches, and other creatures of the night. She is not into freaking out so she takes it pretty well. Blue is into BDSM and Olivia is too strong to let a man control her but something about Blue makes her do things she normally wouldn’t.
She is taken to another realm and given the Silver Arrow of Power. It draws her to the Silver Bow of Artemis, which controls all night creatures and everyone wants possession of. She becomes stronger and has memories of her past lives. Can they defeat those who want to control the bow and arrow or will she let it control her?
I didn’t want to say to much because I don’t want to give anything away. I have read several of Ms. Eden’s books and this is by far my favorite. It’s bloody, sexy, and full of surprises. A little BDSM. Action. The sex so hot you’ll need a cold shower.

This story jumps you right into the action. Olivia Esmerelda Vasques, a high powered woman from NY who's been strong armed into taking a vacation, finds herself running from something, something she does not want to term as vampires. She's been running for days as her mind plays all the horror movies she's watched where the "heroine" does one stupid mistake and dies. She gets the idea from a movie to cover herself in mud and then she sees a wolf staring at her. She takes off again. Not too soon after, she runs into what she thinks is a steel wall, only as she looks up that wall is a hunk of a blond haired man who she feels would do good in a moving about Vikings. Blue doesn't want to leave the human in the cold so he takes her back with him. Somewhere in the to-ing and fro-ing, he figures out this little puny human woman is his mate. Only this puny little human woman had a backbone of steel and doesn't lack courage, common sense he's not too sure of, but then again if she's his that's a good thing, right???
Wonderful fantastic beautiful story of two strong people, one fighting the attraction while assimilating the idea there are others in the world, the other running full tilt into getting her to accept him.
Fantastic story and read!!!

Chance or Fate?

Olivia's forced vacation has turned into a living nightmare. She just witnessed vampires attack her camp, but that's not possible. Is it? Olivia is rescued by Blue, a beserker. He brings her into his world of the paranormal. Her visit is supposed to be temporary, just until Blue nurses her back to health and can get back to her life. However, fate has other plans.
Blue believes Olivia is his mate and will do anything to keep her there. The longer Olivia stays, the deeper she's drawn into Blue's world. She realizes the paranormal is real and wants no part of it, but she may not have a choice.
As Olivia goes on this journey, she uncovers family secrets and her true identity. She must fight to embrace these changes or lose her life, and potentially endanger the world.
An wonderful paranormal read with romance, action and mystery.

I listened to the audiobook for this one. I totally enjoyed it. The narrator did a great job and there is a great plot and decent spice in the book. I think that a couple of chapters may have been missing at the end from the audiobook I listened to but I'm not 100% sure. Based on the last chapter available, It seems like a battle occurred that was not discussed in the audiobook. Outside of that, I liked it a lot. I'm sad because it's not finished. Given that this book was published back in 2018, the series may not be continuing. I'm happy for Blue, the MMC. I was looking forward to his story the most after reading the first book. I hope there is more to come.

Olivia and Bodvar do not seem compatible in the beginning. He's a loner and she doesn't know there's anything out there except humans.
Liv is sassy, strong and doesn't do drama, but she's thrown into the middle of a war.
Blue loves his freedom and running his club. He doesn't do relationships.
He runs into Liv in the woods and saves her.
They have instant physical chemistry, but constantly argue. It was fun to see them get to know each other, banter and ultimately come together.
Blue is awfully sexy!

Olivia has been ordered to take a vacation not just by her ex-husband but the board of directors as well. She ends up in Alaska on a hiking trip and when she heads back to her camp is shocked at what she finds. Fearful she is in danger she runs and ends up running right into Blue. Now she has been thrust into a world she didn’t even know existed and been told that Blue is her mate and he is keeping her. Loved this paranormal romance! The story is fast-paced with loads of twists and turns not to mention oh so sexy. I was hooked from beginning to end. Looking forward to more!

First let me state, I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review. I also believe that this author is new to me.

Holy shiznet!!! This story is awesome. Olivia is snarky & tough, I love her. Blue is one sexy, hot, berserker. I couldn't put this book down until I finished it. So many things happening, with werewolves, vampires, witches, Goddesses & Gods. There's BDSM in this story, but that's ok for me, I like it. :) I hope there are many more stories to follow. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up

I really enjoyed this PNR. The story line is full of drama, emotional ups and downs, sexy love scenes, engaging characters, excitement, and adventure. The BDSM elements are very, very light, so even if you aren't usually into that sort of thing I don't believe you will be bothered by it in this story. This is definitely one of those stories that grabs, and keeps, your attention from beginning to end.

The site Everands copy of this book is incomplete, the whole climax of the story is missing.
Unfortunately that was the site I used to listen to this book & I'm deeply regretting it.
I wasted 6hr of my life listening to the faulty version of this book & now I have to waste more of my time and money finding a complete copy of this book and reread/listen to the book. Makes me wish I'd never started this series to be honest. (Yes not finishing a book or series really bugs me.)

Blue encounters Olivia when she's running from some hunters. He's in an unusual predicament with his den, and it creates some complications, but he believes Olivia's the one for him. This paranormal romance is different, but steamy, and I enjoyed the characters very much.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book for my honest opinion about it.
I’m not to good at leaving reviews because my mind likes to jump from one thing to another. So all I’m going to say is that this is a fantastic read.
The story of Olivia and Blue kept me sitting on the edge of my seat from the whirlwind of an emotional roller coaster ride. Tigris Eden definitely knows how to weave her stories and hook her readers before they even get through with the first chapter.
I wish I could’ve given this book more than five stars because it deserves more than that.

Too Much Going On

Demi-Gods
Shifters
Alternate Worlds
Some of it reminds me of Underworld with Selene.
The sex scenes are too predominant in the story. The writing is very good but something is missing like the Author is trying to hard with two many sub plots, too many characters.

In over however many years he’s just finding his true mate? A shifter that old would have had several mates during his existence on this realm and another.

The silver arrow tattoo?
He touches her head and puts her in a dream like state which transports Olivia to another realm?

He dishonors the blood pact...
I’m stopping here

This is the second book of the Arctic Wolves series and oh so good. Bodvar is an alpha wolf shifter who will have to protect this fiesty and wilful woman he meets in the mountains and Olivia is a high powered woman who is use to being in control of her life both business and personal is forced to take a vacation and decides on hiking Mt. McKinley. There are wolves and vampires with lots of danger, hot intense passion with some darker elements, but it is oh so good. Get your copy and find out if Olivia can give up control and if Bodvar will give her a chance and will the dangers around them put a stop to anything happening at all.
