Menna once again seems into every bit of trouble the Broken Wand Academy, this time through no fault of her own.. Still reeling from seeing her mothers death and finding an ally in Prof Castle she feels she can trust try’s to help her with her panic. Nothing can stop her from the anger she feels towards her father. A visit leaves her and Braden in peril once again, one she has little hope of escaping this time. Identities are revealed, Friendships betrayed, fear and terror seem to assault Meena from every side. Her power is far more dangerous and powerful than she could imagine which unfortunately her own allies become a product of her uncontrollable magic. She is left will no option to flee the academy for her life. Thing is with Meena she never listens to advice. This episode of Broken Wand Academy: A Misuse of Time is full of non stop action as this storyline continues to ramp up. Marisa Claire continues to transport us the time and place of every where Meena resides, feeling every emotion she experiences and the danger of Broken Wand Academy. I look forward to the next instalment as we are left with a cliffhanger I can’t even see Meena being able to solve.
Things at the Broken Wand Academy are escalating, and as Meena uncovers more and more secrets, she gets more and more tangled into the web of magical politics, becoming a pawn of those who seek power. Pushed to do something she regrets, her only option now seems to be an escape.. but where could she run? Lightning fast read closing the mini series and leading to an opening to new one. In an extremely short timespan, there is a lot happening, and the heroine is overwhelmed by the pressure and information flooding her - yet she handles them well, in the end. Under the circumstances, I doubt she could have handled it better, or it would seem unrealistic. She acts like a real young woman with her own problems, challenges, and mistakes. However, her sense of justice, determination, and strong will can lead her far and bring a closure to the conflict brewing, and I would love to see her on her further journey.
I feel cheated by the 800 odd pages it took me to read this series. I want my time back, and I want the book slump I’ll inevitably fall into, to stay faaaaar away. No spoilers here.
The plot - same deal as always; magic school, girl who’s never heard of magic before, learning to exist in a world with magic, magic school is very secretive and dangerous, FMC can’t just mind her damned business. And boy should she have just minded her own and got on with life. I’m annoyed, I’m mad, I’m perplexed and I have so many questions… so many unanswered queries that I don’t even want to read the second series; YES you read that right. A second series, a completely DIFFERENT series, follows this one apparently. Doesn’t make sense, but here I am. Not worth it, but hey, I’ve read it now.
The characters - everything you know is a lie. That’s the summary here. Everything you think you know, don’t even bother. Issa lie. I’m upset at the complete non ending for a lot of these beloved characters.
Things aren't always what they seem and those you trust may not be the ones you should trust! In this episode Meena not only gets herself in grave danger, but she finds out more about her mother and her mother's death as well as who her friends were. And what did her father know in her "other" life? Can she get back to ask him through Braden's portal? Who is this nasty cult of costumed birds who sacrifice people and what did they want with her? How did her magic go crazy and who is the beautiful golden wolf? How is it she can talk to him? What is The Gladwell Academy and why should she run away from the Broken Wand Academy and how can this golden wolf named Dan hellp her? I can't wait to see what happens with the Dan the wolf and Meena as they run away. I received and ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own,
This series is one that will grab you and not let go until it is over. In this book Meena shows her strength in all she does. She goes back to her dad through Braden's portal but gets yanked to another place before she gets to hear the whole story of her mom's and her past. She soon finds herself fleeing the Broken Wand academy for the Gladwell academy with a wolf shifter she seems to be able to talk to through her mom's family connection so she thinks.
This is another wonderful book in the Broken Wand Academy series. I have had so much fun listening to these stories and am hoping there is more to come. The characters have grabbed my heart and I am not ready to leave them yet. I also can not say enough about narrator Nara Naranjit and how wonderful the audios have been. This book (and series) is wonderful and I hope you all like it as much as I do.
Things are starting to heat up in the Broken Wand Academy series! While it picks up right where the previous installment left, I like that there was a slight repeat cleverly woven in so that I could remember what exactly happened in the last book/ novella. Without giving any spoilers, Meena has an uphill battle ahead of her - try and discern the truth about her past, figure out how to solve the issues facing her in the present, and also try to find out who is behind all the deaths and secret rituals in the Academy. Who can she trust? Who does she actually love - Dash or Braden? Continue reading to find out!

If I thought Meena got herself into bonds before ... whoa she is in deep now! In the middle of warring factions, wanted by both to defeat the other. All she wants is to master her magic and save a couple of friends.
I sure hope there are other Episodes!
Received this as a Advance Reader Copy with the hopes I would like it and review it.
Amazing action-package, page-turner installment, full of magic, unexpected twists and turns and shocking discoveries!!! 🤯🙈 WTF???... I new Meena was special and stronger than most witches but, damn, she surpased my expectations!!! #girlpower #goMeena 💪👊🤜🤛 I still can't believe who is part of this crazy cult, didn't see that coming 💔😭... Hope their leader is really gone and their evil cult destroyed!!! 😤🤞 Now in the run, what can Meena expect from that shifter Academy she's going to??? 🤔 Can't wait for the next book, that crossover is going to be epic!!! 😍💖
Meena has seen the truth of her mother's death. In her rush to confront her father about not telling her the truth, she will put not only her life in danger, but Braden's life, as well.
Unique, fascinating, and well written characters. Meena will soon learn that she placed her trust in the wrong person. Exciting plot with some action betrayal, magic, and unexpected twists. Fantastic book, I hope there is more of Meena's story to come, I adore her. I think this is a must read series!
I am voluntarily leaving an honest and non-incentivized review of this ARC.
Only Time will Tell Meena uncovers great secrets that lead to amazing truths. Can she trust what's to come? Continue the amazing magical adventure that you won't be able to put down.
This is a brilliant read. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story. Can't wait to read more of these. Recommend reading.

I really enjoyed coming back to this series! The authors did a great job of subtly recapping the events of the last book, which I appreciated. There was a lot of action, betrayal, and drama in this episode. It was fast paced throughout.
I’m glad that I’ve already read some of the “Academy of Shifters” series, because there were many connections in this book. And it looks like the two series will cross even more in the next one.
Meena knows she is powerful, but her enemies have had more training in magic, will it be her downfall? She needs to try and figure out things that happen in the past, because she is a bit confused by a vision she had. Have others been keeping the truth from her? Will those secrets cost her? I loved this exciting episode of Broken Wand Academy, Meena's story is interesting and I can't wait to find out what happens next.
This story has turned so dark that I no longer accept the idea that it is Urban Fantasy. It is clearly Dark Fantasy approaching Dark Fantasy Horror. The new character, Dan, was the only thing which stopped that final assessment.
This fourth book in the series has Meena getting closer to some truths as she also encounters great danger.
I enjoyed the story and was happy to see Meena making progress in her journey and finding the truth of what happened to her mother. She really doesn't know who to trust at this point.
Broken Wand Academy: A Misuse of Time. Episode 4 by Marisa Claire is sucah an amazing story to read. This is book number four in this amazing series and I loved reading it. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about fantasy.

This is a well written book, as is the rest of the series. This picks up where the previous book ended. There are quite a few surprises and some new questions left unanswered. This just makes me want to read the next book even more. Great Series that I recommend.
Some very hard truths are discovered, and yet there is a shroud of grey even over this. Many characters definitely are not as they seemed, and this tale takes and even more shocking turn. I actually love where this is heading and I hope this next phase doesn’t disappoint. All my reviews are always voluntarily written.
This episode is action-packed. I feel like the story could have been stretched out along the four episodes. The ending does leave me excited to read further episodes. Readers should also consider reading Shifter Academy as this crosses over. I haven't read it myself and am unsure how going into the next episodes will be affected by that.
The crazy is beginning to unfold and Meena is at the edge of crazy magic! Great character development and amazing storyline and plot. I can't wait for the next book!

I love this series, and for me this is by the best episode so far. There are so many surprises in this one, and I totally was not expecting that ending. Full of suspense, a touch of humour and wonderful world building. This is such a good read.
Learned more about the world Meena threw herself into as well as being left wide open for a lot more questions. Did enjoy the spells in the book and want to see where this world goes

What a ride this put book took me on. Meena gone through so much and we learn so much in this installment. The betrayals and challenges faced are emotional but Meena is growing stronger in each story. As this book ends on a cliffhanger I am anxious to see where this takes us.
Another great chapter in the series. The story continues its unfolding of the overall storyline and the characters continue to grow and keep you hooked on seeing where the story will go.

A good story with good characters, only makes for a good read. The writing can be slow in places and sometimes hard to push through. Over all it was a good read and I will read the next in the series.
A bit of a surprise to not.have.the story end here but rather lead into another series. I am in fact pleased by that part of.it and am looking forward to starting the next story to start the next series!
Out of the frying pan... Meena can’t keep out of trouble. Then again, you aren’t imagining things if they really are out to get you. It should only get more interesting from here.
