About the author

Aaron Basko is an author, educator, coach, and consultant who focused on helping people maximize their potential. Aaron's goal is to be "Your Personal Yoda," and his writing focuses on practical guidebooks to help you manage your career, master new skills, achieve your goals, lead better, communicate cross-cultural, and have more fun on your adventures.
 
Aaron is currently the Vice President of Enrollment, Marketing, and Communications at the University of Lynchburg in Lynchburg, VA. He has more than 25 years of experience serving as an enrollment growth specialist and student success strategist. He has helped four universities fix their enrollment challenges, and has consulted for nearly a dozen other universities and organizations. He has presented internationally in five countries on educational, career and leadership topics.

A thought leader in education, Aaron has written for The Chronicle of Higher Education, Inside Higher Ed, University Business, The Times Higher Education, The Journal of College Admissions, and the State Department’s Fulbright blog.

As a 2015 Fulbright International Education Administrator and capacity building specialist, Aaron also assists institutions with student mobility and international partnership initiatives.

For fun, Aaron competes in Ninja Warrior competitions, plays guitar, and travels to Argentina, where he was an exchange student as a teenager.

This was a good book with some useful information for me since I am most likely going to retire from the United States Marine Corps next year after twenty years of active service. The book would be beneficial to graduating high school and college students as well.

Its a pretty good book, but I'm probably too young to relate to anything in the book.
