It wasn’t my fault. I didn’t even see her. There was a bump, and the next thing I knew, she was sitting in my passenger seat. Hitting her with my car didn’t kill her. She was already dead when I smashed into her. But sitting beside me, smiling, wearing a tie-dye outfit from the Hippie era of the 1960s, she didn’t look like a ghost. She looked great for a dead girl. I kept driving. She had things to say. She was saying that she’d be happy to be my “old lady” now. I'm just trying to stay in control of the car and not freak out at the girl suddenly beside me. When the car stops swerving into the oncoming lane, we’ll find out where this dead Hippie chick came from. What does she mean, she’s my old lady?
I thought the first two books were great but In the 3 rd you opened it up to two families because as a reader my thoughts are you wore out the idea of guy taking on ghost women by having g him take on way too many women . like.I any authors you have complacated a great story. When his live girl friend suggested to separate or have two family's I just stopped reading . as the old saying goes you write what you want ,and we read what we like ...or not . Instead getting getting boring when the number hit 7 then a possible 9 dead women, even your main character was starting g to show stress
Ms Foxworthy hasn’t lost her ability to imagine the new and unusual! I was really looking forward to what her next series would be dealing with. She hasn’t disappointed! Topper has it too good and I can’t wait to read what the Haunted Microbus “runs” into next! Thanks MF.
I have read a lot of Marilyn's books and would have to say this is one of my favorites. The story is very simple, but big on character. The concepts on ghostly interactions is unique and interesting. The characters are all fun and well "fleshed out", making for great dialog. Can't wait to see how they all progress in book 2.
A great read! I'm more than ready for the next volume of the trilogy. I love reading your books. I have read them all...many twice. Your books always leave me feeling good. Please don't make us wait so long for the next one.
About girlfriends who were dead before they became girlfriends. Sound odd? The MC thinks so. The story is entertaining for both fun situations and MC’s developing thoughts. Good new series.
Marilyn Foxworthy has written another book about love, sex, and finding yourself. Her heroes are Normal guys who find multiple women, or is it one woman with several fascinating facets? Anyway, you need to read this novel, and all of her other novels as well.
