After a bloody battle in New Hampshire, ghost hunter and retired Marine Shane Ryan has crushed the Blood and Silver biker gang. Or at least, that’s what he believes.
The sinister power manipulating them behind the scenes leaves a trail of evil and darkness in its wake. And Shane is ready to chase it to hell and back….
Following a trail of broken bodies and shattered souls, Shane’s crusade steers him from sun-scorched Arizona to the snow-swept forests of Canada. But he quickly discovers that he is not the only one on the hunt.
As he battles ghosts and biker cultists alike, Shane slowly realizes that someone…or something…is following his tracks. A deadly enforcer, with an army of malevolent spirits at its beck and call, is looking for a fight.
And Shane Ryan will give them the deadliest battle of his life....
Ron Ripley is a husband and father surviving in New England, a place which seems to be getting colder every day. He grew up across from a disturbingly large cemetery where he managed to scare himself every night before going to bed. Mostly because of the red lights that people put in front of the headstones. Those things are just plain creepy to a kid.
Ron enjoys writing horror, military history and driving through the small towns of New England with his family, collecting books and giving impromptu lectures on military history to his family, who enjoy ignoring him during those dreadful times.
Warning! I stated cautions and multiple trigger warnings in my review recently of SOUL COLLECTOR, Book 1 in this Series, that might disturb some sensitive readers [as are many of us]. SOUL DESTROYER is orders of magnitude more so: the opening episode so infuriated and enraged me that I almost refused to continue reading. Subsequently the gore level rose to the point of extreme. Had I not acceded to read for review, I would have stopped even before Chapter 3. I wasn't expecting this extent.
Shane Ryan gets turned lose in this one, and he makes the most of it. This time it isn't just ghosts he fights but also human traffickers. Some of the scenes here are not for the faint of heart. There is enough gratuitous violence here to satisfy the vengeance lover in all of us. Shane Ryan is becoming a legendary character. He isn't indestructible but is about as close to it as one gets. Shane is not the kind of guy you want to trifle with. This series reads a bit more like an action/adventure novel than horror, although there are ghosts aplenty. I found it to be a real page turner. It is well worth your time.
Great read Shane sets out to destroy trafficking of girls of a certain type is the way he knows best brutal ! He tracks down the suppliers one by one and still morning the death of his girlfriend although he won't admit this . He has yet to find the buyer whom i sure he will find ,full of action and Shane is happy to destroy whoever the ring leader . Soo looking forward to reading book 3 . Well done Ron very well written .
This second installment of the Soul Collector series is amazing. Shane Ryan is continuing his fight against the Blood and Silver gang, and trying to rescue as many of the girls they are trafficking as he can.
He is still haunted by memories of the past, and while he continues his hunt, he is going to find this one is going to push him to the edge - and maybe over it.
Absolutely LOVED this read. I am never disappointed with selections from Scare Street.
Where to begin - Brilliantly written, fantastic storyline, lots of characters, best of all Shane Carl and Eloise. Once again Ron Ripley had me under his writing spell and I couldn’t put the book down. Definitely recommend Looking forward to book 3. Thank you xx
I think I am in love with Shane and Carl! Every book with Shane in it is a great book. I love the way he interacts with the ghosts and how he has such morals even though he has seen and caused many deaths. Please let there be another book in this series
I'm so excited Shane Ryan is back!!! Ron Ripley is an awesome writer and its almost like he's writing a biography on Shane. I love the ghosts and the fact that he's bringing all the series together. Keep em coming Ron!
Come on, once you have read Berkley Street 🏠, all you ever want is more Shane Ryan 🚬🚬 😍😍. It's more of my favourite Marine 💪, along with Carl & Eloise 😎 they are the coolest 👻 you'll ever meet. It's violent & disturbing, I loved it
Shane Ryan is a fantastic character. His relationships with the ghosts that live in his house are very entertaining. Carl and Eloise are great characters. Their devotion to Shane is shown time and time again. I look forward to further books in the series.
I get so excited when Mr. Ripley puts out a new book with Shane in it 😍 especially a series. Shane is totally my book boyfriend. Now Mr. Ripley needs to come out with a book that little Jimmy has a longer story in.
I was lucky enough to have gotten a free audio book code from Scare Street. I am volunteering to leave this review. Great Audio book plenty of twist and turns. Shane and his ghost kick butt and take names.
Screaming Shane Ryan!!! I love him... I do wish they would put some more effort into the climax of the book... I though Eugene was going to Shane and good fight leave you out of breathe wondering if he will survive.. But no..

Just what I expected, well written and hard to put down, I am finding more and more about Shane Ryan, Carl and Eloise. Will be starting the next book a little later and I am sure I will probably be finished by early morning or tomorrow evening lol
The story involves kidnapping and child murder. Very well written with a great deal of violence, the story follows Shane, who is still seeking answers. Meanwhile, his opponents are seeking him to make him pay.
Rons done it again there is so much to say about this book I don't want to spoil the fun for anyone but it is so nice to see Shane back in action again he is kicking butt and taking names. Blood and Silver had no idea who they were messing with and I guess Eugene found out the hard way. Im glad to see Carl and Eloise also made an appearance in the book. This is a great story filled with so much action and twists you won't be able to read Fast enough or turn the pages fast enough either. Great job Ron
