Faith's life has been turned upside down, and she's not at all sure that's a good thing . . .
With Jen and Carrie at the beach full time, it's gotten harder by the week for Faith to return to her job inland as a new life has been unfolding for her at the beach on the weekends. Her part time job at the boutique has taken more and more of her time as the owner becomes increasingly scarce. Her daughter, Maggy, has been visiting more frequently, with all the ups and downs that brings. Jen's son, Max, has been spending time in Newport as well, and Faith still holds out hope that Maggy and Max might end up together.
Jen wants the same, and the three friends do their best to throw the two together—not always with welcome results.
Carrie's new relationship with Bethany requires a bit more from all three friends than they'd anticipated, but they're up for the challenge. A road trip is in order, and by the time they return home, everything has changed.
Visit Newport Beach and sit on the deck for a while, watch the sunrise and enjoy one of Nana's muffins.

The story has humor, serious events and laughable people. I loved the roofers and enjoyed camaraderie of friends. We should all be so lucky to have lifetime friendships and endearing relationships that truly give meaning to our lives! This book continues the series of three dear friends who have drinks and snacks on a patio every Friday night; amazing dinners with friends on Saturday nights; and, walk dogs on the beach for relaxation. I’ve had a grand afternoon read while camping on the beach with our friends. Thanks for a wonderful book.
I was disappointed in Faith & "gang" in accepting failure by listening to three women going through the house who obviously thought their opinion was the only one that counted in poopooing the pillows on display. I'm sorry but I had just read where EVERY ONE of the pillows brought to he Shop had sold out TWICE, I'm assuming to humans. So the three women noted above ate the only Opinions that counted, hereby scuttling a most worthwhile, financially sound project for Faiths earlier retirement efforts.
A heart-warming & moving story with characters you cannot get enough of. I truly enjoyed reading this book. Faith, is beyond exhausted. Working two jobs & driving to Newport every weekend. But when an opportunity that would help her financially, can she take the steps needed & trust herself? Join Jen, Faith & Carrie, again in Newport. It makes a wonderful summer read!!
Another good book, continuing the friendships of Jen, Faith and Cassie and co. I love good book series, getting to know the characters and reading as their lived unfold. I look forward to the Christmas one coming out. As far as editing etc this one was better .
This series is not outstanding, but I have gotten interested in what the women will do next, so I have read 3 of the books in 3 nights. The fourth has not yet been released...but I pre-bought it. This is good escape reading, and I need some of that right now.
I love a book series. I can move from book to book and not have to get to know all new characters. And I love following their journeys through all the ups and downs. I read to escape the real world and to relax for the most part so these stories are perfect for me. And I love a happy ending.
This series is easy to follow. My only complaint is the number of grammatical errors and some facts were incorrect from one book in the series to the next.
This was another great read in this series.... love to continue on another book learning more about a different character. It was well written and greatly engaging.
I like that it is about mature women and second chances and their vulnerability that they overcome with the help and encouragement of each other. Makes one fell hopeful as a mature woman .
