A simple and to the point description of what a bullet journal is and how to use it. For a KU book, I’m not surprised there weren’t any pictures to go along with the examples. I would have liked to see a few of the examples talked about illustrated to get a better idea of what it might look like. I also thought they’d talk a bit more about stencils. I guess that falls under being artsy. Do people really do this free hand? Super jealous if they can. Over all, this was an easy introduction and I feel a bit better about jumping into a more detailed book having a simple understanding of the system.

An excellent basic introduction to bullet journaling

In searching for the best method to get better organized in the new year I have read several books. This is the second one on bullet journaling. It does a great job of laying out the basics while encouraging you to start on the simple side and grow into it as needed. A worthwhile read.

bullet journaling 101

A simple quick background to bullet journaling. Of particular value if you are swamped with artistic journals and want to focus on starting to actually use a bullet journal.

Just following the basics for your first journal may be a good starting point before putting pen to paper rather than sticker to washi tape.

Good!

I loved the fact that the book is an overview of what a bullet journal is, and what it is not. I will refer back to this book quite often for refreshers and reminders. Don't overdo it.

Not as good IMO as the Keep It Simple Sweetie book on the same subject.

A verbal rehash of the basics with a few good points but no visuals. That automatically downgraded this as a potential beginner's book.

not original

Simple and easy to read although repetitive phrases like “ is your bullet journal and you can do what you want “
A lot of content that came from Ryders’ Bullet Journal Method that is not given proper credit/citation

He tried?

This book is just a waste of time, but I'm giving him an extra star for the guts to publish it. It took about 5 seconds to flip thru front to back, and about 3 minutes to read. Zero inspiration. Don't bother.

Great beginner guide

Easy to implement ideas into a bullet journal for a beginner. It healed me understand what I needed to use at a bare minimum and was encouraging.

Best BuJo book I have found on Amazon.

I like this book. Listened to every word and took notes. Gave me good ideas and a plan of action.
