Competing on the popular cooking show Eighty-Sixed is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. A lot of money and a shot at fame are up for grabs.
The culinary students from Crow County arrive at the filming location a day early and plan on spending the time partying by the pool. Soon the production takes a terrifying turn and the participants realize that staying alive is the real prize.
On this season of Eighty-Sixed someone is slicing and dicing the competition.
Wow, just finished this book in two days! This would be my favorite book from Bryce Gibson's Killer Tech series thus far. The story and plot were creatively intense and the depth of the characters made them all seem so realistic. I felt like I knew these people and felt terrified for some of them and hated some others as the plot was unveiled. The ending had a twist that I wasn't expecting but it completed the story and I appreciated the complete story. I would definitely recommend this book!! Short, gripping, scary read, and I enjoyed the ride!
I was expecting Eighty-Sixed to be a mystery, maybe even a slasher like the other books in the series. But this story is more complex than that and really twisted. If you enjoy YA horror novels you'll enjoy this entry in the Killer Tech series. Highly recommended.
I’ve been binge reading this series like crazy and I’ve loved each and every one of them, but I think this is my favorite thus far. It really racks up suspense and the near end is total all out mayhem!
