I adored getting this boxset but that epilogue was pure evil. This story was perfect and just so amazing and I can't figure out where she comes up with her stories but I love it.

Book 20 -

It’s here the book we have all been waiting for. With Broheim gone and the European dragons ability to transform returned, their goal is now one thing, to take out the Queen. Will Isa be able to convince them she was never the evil Queen they were led to believe?
This instalment ties up all the lose ends and is exactly what I wanted. That epilogue though, I’m excited but don’t know if I should laugh or scream.

DKC book 16:

A few characters are granted their wishes, some are happy, some are not. One crisis has been solved even though they are still unaware of the subterfuge. Meanwhile , the search for a wizard continues while all the characters there are also ignorant of the deepest of deception. This book is mainly one that sets the pace for the upcoming continuations.

DKC book 17:
A huge secret is revealed and this storyline could potentially go all sorts of sideways. On top of, I can’t help but feel the Princess has a bipolar disorder. She is so up and down about everything, I just keep expecting her to kill and reanimate everyone over and over. I seriously need to find out that origin story! Meanwhile a brand new dragon is introduced making this even more curious. And of course even the school prom manages to reveal true colors.

DKC book 18:
Well , all the different storylines are all being aligned to cross over soon. It seems the massive miscommunication going on in every facet of this tale is about to set off all kinds of disruptions. The dragging it out is getting to me though. Highly recommend the boxed sets! The tale is great and definitely worth the read.

DKC BOOK 19:
Much more hidden truths are being uncovered. But a battle is being fought by those still in the dark. There is death and sadness but you need to read to find out who is affected. It is at that point where the need to know how all of this will pan out is great. Onto the conclusion.

DKC book 20:
Well, very reasonable and some exciting conclusions, yet, apparently not the conclusion. I absolutely love the paths this suthir took to keep readers interesting and in the dark. These characters made you love them as well as hate some of them the same time. I have mixed feelings with the massive jumps in time towards the end but, I see this just set up the unexpected continuation.

I have mixed feelings about this series. It was way too long. It took 20 books to tell one story. A bit much. I never would have read it if I'd have had to wait for each individual book to be released. Fortunately, I stumbled upon it already complete - mostly. The author tacked on an epilogue to lead into another book to released in a year.

I like the story but would have liked it a lot more if it hadn't been written like an extended soap opera or something. Also, what's with a HEA ending followed by an epilogue that kills off beloved key characters? WTF? Even if they're brought back to life since some dragons can do that, that's a truly awful thing to do to readers. So no, I won't be reading the release next year because I am mad at this author for ending this book the way she did.

I became a fan of Kimberly Loth's books when I read the very first book in this series, "Obsidian". When she decided to continue the story with the next generation of dragons, I immediately started reading these next set of stories.

This boxset is great, full of action, turmoil, budding romance, betrayal and (of course) DRAGONS!! As I read each book, I just had to keep reading to see what would happen next. I have come to love these characters and feel like they are family. This is a great conclusion to a phenomenal series! Highly recommend the whole series to any fan of dragons and/or wizards. Thanks, Ms. Loth, for another amazingly entertaining read!

A pretty good collection of episodes. Over the course of the series, it has become easier to keep track of the vast number of characters and plot lines. The interior episode cliffhangers weren't so bad considering that I was able to move on to the next episode in the collection. But the final episode ended in one which I found to be rather distressing.

Action-packed. Entertaining. Haunting. Romantic. Scary. Tragic. Twisted. Unpredictable. Wonderful characters.

I received a review copy of this book from a third party. This is my honest review.

Good series

So I read the original years ago and so these boxed sets drew me in. I will say overall I loved the story and the details. At some points, it drug on and you knew there was like 3 more boxes series to go. But honestly, it gave you plenty of time to become vested in the characters. It was relative clean (implications but nothing more) and appropriate for teen audience.

loved following the Dragon Kings

But I feel boxset 5 was not as inspiring, there is a passage where Clare’s name is used instead of Missy, the occasional
Spelling errors. It lost its appeal as the sets before. Characters came and went without true exploration. I will wait for the next boxset but hope it goes back ti the original format. Swapping to and fro works only if a ridged story line develops.

What a ride!

I have always loved this world and getting to dive into it and get to know more of the characters has been amazing! I couldn’t stop reading and had to know what happened next. And that ending?! So glad to see this series isn’t done and I can’t wait to see what happens next in this world!

Never Ending

There is a never ending stream of death or coming back from death in this series. I wish a few deaths took sooner. Glad some deaths failed to take. Even more excited that some never occurred. The story goes on forever and the party never ends. Fun read. Hope you enjoy.

Good read

Liam and Isa' s story, along with Grace's and Damon and Ruby's story continues in this book. All loose ends are wrapped up, but still a surprise ending occurs. Hmmm. Guess I will have to wait for book 21 to come out to find out what happens. I look forward to it!

Nice wrap up of most things

Tied all the old stuff up. Opened new ones. What can each color do how will the humans react. Good for young adults most of the "love" stuff is pretty cheesy...

OMG! Sad to see a couple of things I'd wondered come true. My heart was in my mouth at times. Then just when I thought there was a happy ending Kimberly Loth pulled the rug out from under me. Sorry but I'm not liking the ending.

Wowsiers

It had everything. Loved them all. Dragons were so majestic and beautiful too.
The humans were humans. Some with heart, some not so much.
Then there were the wizards. All awesome. All the characters were bad and good. Pic your favorite style ..

These five episodes were fun to read. I have mixed feelings about the epilogue at the end of the last episode, mostly because it ended on a cliffhanger and I thought this was going to be the end. I can't wait to read the rest and I really hope that the release date ends up being earlier than the note in the back indicated.

I received a free advanced copy from the author, but my opinions are my own.
