This 2nd book in the series is better than the 1st book
I enjoyed reading this book much more than the first book in this series. I look forward to reading all forecoming sequels in this series.
The second book in this series is jaw dropping terrifying! Any, or all, of the events in this book could very well come true ending America and the world as we know it.
This book left out what I felt was the author's political biasin the first book. The author in the starting of this series, with book number one, talked about factual events that have happened in America since 2020.
Having said the above the author's description of the main political character in the first book was the complete antithesis of the reality we're currently experiencing.
In my opinion it shows the author's political ideologies. In a fictional book where some factual events are sprinkled in, all should be based on the facts only and not biased views of the author.
The second book in this series deals with Americans and humanity worldwide showing some very eerie forecasts for the future of the world.
I believe some of those things, if not all, will most likely happen. I feel like we are heading towards the worst thant can happen to humanity.
I am of the opinion that we passed "it's too late" to change the things to come unless changes happen before the end of this year. My once view "that the glass is half full" is now looking more like " the glass is half empty."
The author thankfully left out the political BS that was in the first book, choosing to focus on humanity and how fragile we all are when chaos erupts.
I gave this book 5 stars, instead of 4 stars on the first book, for the author's focus on humanity and the events that might foreshadow the future of humanity.
