“Laugh out loud funny, witty, snarky and clever. Best read this year.”

Grab the first half of the complete Federal Bureau of Magic series in one handy omnibus and join the fun.

Welcome to Chipping Cheddar, where supernaturals are hidden in plain sight...

Annoying but loving family? Check.
Picturesque small town with a hot police chief? Check.
A rescue hellhound, a black cat with attitude, and a pet python that thinks he’s a puppy? Triple check.
My story has all the hallmarks of a sweet and cozy supernatural tale, but there’s a twist— I am evil.
Well, I’m supposed to be evil thanks to both nature and nurture, but I fight it with every fiber of my being. I just want to live a normal life. I even joined the FBI instead of the Federal Bureau of Magic, until my powers reared their ugly head and the agency sent me packing back to my hometown to fight magical crimes instead. Now I’m back in Chipping Cheddar, living with my evil family, with a new job and all my old baggage.
Oh, and there’s a dead body, which was definitely not an accident. So there you have it.
Welcome to my world.

A Fantastic Marathon Read

Seven books filled with sassy, or in some cases, sarcastic characters. Chipping Cheddar is a town populated by humans and super humans like witches, weres, wizards, vampires and demons. Oh, and one reluctant Agent Eden Fury of the Federal Bureau of Magic (FBM). Eden is a rare super, a reluctant Fury. You know, the one with the black wings, Medusa snake hair, fiery eyes and attitude. As Agent Fury wrestles with attacks by dangerous supers from the Otherworld, she also has to deal with her magical family and her human love interest. Great fun, too. Now, on to the last seven books in the series.

A light fun and cosy fast read. The series would lend itself well to being a TV series. I liked the various characters and it would be nice to have some background stories based on some of the characters. (What brought them into "this" world"). It kept me laughing throughout, I loved the humour and funny retorts scattered throughout. (Delightfully annoyed my partner with my bursts of laughter at the breakfast table!). I highly recommend for a bit of fun fantasy escape.

the perfect binge read

The stories are fun and easy to get lost in, when a break from reality is needed. After a few books I was a little surprised that everything was happening in such a short span of time that the one year old baby stayed a year old for several books before turning into a toddler.

this was a good series, the box set well worth reading

I enjoyed each book in this set. An interesting main character with well developed support characters. Each story was set in a unique community of Supernaturals and Humans. Heroine is in charge of combating incursions from malevolent supernaturals

a nice series with likable characters

I rather wish this was a series on Netflix or prime video. It seems like a good supernatural series that would be fun to watch. Like murder she wrote set in the world of Buffy the vampire slayer. I definitely want more stores.

This book is very well written. It was a page turner for me.the way the mysteries were folded into a town within our world was amazing. Everything was presentes and felt like it was real as it happened. I will read more of this author.

It was OK but the romance/no romance went on a little too long. Too much time was spent on repeating the story line from previous books in the series

Magic everywhere

I enjoyed this series, it was really good. Well written. The only thing I didn’t like was the ending. It felt an abrupt, it came up to fast.

Very entertaining, well written series. Sends whodunit to a mystical level. Looking for more of the same, witty and serious writings.
