This book is probably one of the best I’ve ever read. It kept me engaged and I thought it was very interesting. I liked how it held my attention the whole time I was reading it and how suspenseful it was in every aspect of the book. One bad thing I must say about this books is that I got very confused throughout it. Other than that, I think this book is amazing.
Another thing I liked about this book is Roxy and Levi’s relationship. I think that they were perfect for each other and I liked the anticipation of their relationship. What I didn’t like about them was how Roxy never trusted Levi but she trusted Joe the first day she met him, even though he wasn’t a good guy. That part of the book always frustrates me and I don’t understand it. I also wish that Roxy’s mom wouldn’t have died again.
Even though there are many things I said I didn’t like about the book, I would recommend it to anyone of all ages. There are many great elements of relationships that teenagers should know. There are also a lot of good points about family and friendship that everyone should know about. I admire M.K. Parsons’ ability to compile these elements into one book. I would 10/10 recommend this book to anyone.

It's tough to imagine a completely original world in the dystopian genre, but this author has created one. Readers may recognize some flashes of "Hunger Games," a few reflections of "Divergent," but the technology, science, and time-travel evident in this novel set it apart.

Complex characters and realistic interactions invite the reader deeper into the story. The book offers exceptional writing backed up by extensive research and delicate details. The characters grapple with ideas of loyalty and belonging, of vengeance and purpose, of courage and the source of strength. Their journey takes them to unexpected places (and times) and challenges who they are, what they believe, and why.

Few authors evoke an emotional response from me, and never with a debut novel. This one broke that record.

Watch this author. I expect many great things to follow.

This story is told mainly through the eyes of the first character Roxy.It is set in the year 2074 but takes you on a ride through time you won't easily forget. I don't want to give anything away because this is such a great book that will take you on a journey that's like candy for the mind.I usually don't read books in a little over a week but I couldn't put this book down.The author writes in a way that even if you don't like syfy you will fall in love with this story.
