A security guard at Mia's hospital has gone missing. She brings in Recker and the team to help investigate what happened, and they quickly realize there is a lot more to this case. They soon learn the guard is just one of many who have gone missing, all being found under the same conditions. And their findings will take them straight into the arms of a serial killer, who's got a long list of targets. How many will lose their lives before the Silencer team can find their suspect?

Mia's coworker goes missing and the team sets out to figure out what happened. Vincent and Jimmy make appearances and help out. Chris finally gets a love interest. The banter between David, Mike, and Chris always makes me laugh.
Much more investigation than violence this time round and strangely 2 distinct storylines completely unrelated to each other Made for an interesting change from one primary story and a few minor ones Vincent and Malloy still make their usual appearances, although this time more on the sidelines, although Malloy does get to assist a couple times One aspect of the story I get the feeling maybe laying the ground work for the team to start having more issues with the police, but will have to wait and see if that's likely Keeps you entertained, although the ending did seem a tad rushed
A very good story in this series with the team dealing with a case brought to them by Mia as a missing person case, but becoming a serial killer case, with side stories going on concurrently. All the usual fast and non-stop action from Recker and Haley.
Death Watch is one of those stories filled with mystery that began with the disappearance of a security guard at the Silencer's girlfriend Mia's job at the hospital. He was a older guy who rarely missed a day of work and was highly dependable. Mia was worried what happened to him because this was not like him to abruptly not show up with no calls or contacts. While to police had already investigated, she felt it was going nowhere so she calls the the Silencer to look into it. Once he does, each of the contacts wind up dead. Is there more to his disappearance and there are forces at work to keep the Silencer from discovering the truth?
I enjoyed the action, suspense and mystery behind this story and the banter between the Silencer team as a whole. The long time relationship that they have, the teamwork and strategies they come up with to take on threats and high risk challenges that enable them to carry out their missions even at difficult odds. This case was highly unusual for the The Silencer team because nothing was as it seemed. Highly recommended.
