Books in the Color Magic series meld the youthful spontaneity of coloring with the sophisticated composition of patterns for a relaxing artistic experience that anyone can enjoy. Coloring encourages the imaginative hobbyist to take a break from their daily routine to create something simple yet exquisite. And the beautiful images in this book, when complete, are ideal for decorating, framing, and gift-giving.
This is a really nice coloring book. One thing that I like a lot about this particular coloring book is that the designs take up the entire page. You do not get a small design in the middle of the page leaving you with a bunch of dead white space around it. Not many coloring books do that nowadays.
Also, I suggest using colored pencils or something similar to that when coloring the pages. You do not want the ink to bleed through and ruin the next image. The paper quality is nice, but I do not think it can handle markers.
In regards to the designs, they range from simple to very detailed. Also, some of them have a black background as opposed to white giving those particular designs their own special unique dimension.
