I’ve heard about the microbiome before, and knew that foods we ate were responsible for beneficial or not-so-beneficial bacteria that were connected to our gut health which was also linked to our mental health and overall health… I wasn’t aware of the positive impact of exercise on gut health.

This was Dr. Pascal's guide to improving gut health which involves eating right and adequate exercise. He covers the topics of Understanding your gut, The 4 week gut health holistic nutritional plan and Maintaining your microbiome health.
I think this is an excellent reference. The book demystifies the topic of hit health and how it affects your overall health and well being. Highly recommend!.

I love that this is free on Kindle. It’s a straightforward, no frills guide to gut health. As with most practical health or food science books, it’s not exactly a page turner. In fact I used this book to put myself back to sleep at 3am last night. But it does the job - I learned a lot about gut health!
The information was all sourced very appropriately, but I'm some of the weekly plans in here felt half-baked. I may re-evaluate this rating after I try to implement some of the protocols outlined to help with my own gut issues.
