Strange Things In The Forest: Volume 2

Rate this book
Building off the first volume, this collection delves into darker, more complex mysteries that challenge the boundaries of what we know about our world—and the shadows that exist within it.

This volume explores tales of ghostly apparitions that wander forgotten trails, ancient folklore brought to life in remote woodlands, and bizarre phenomena witnessed by those brave (or unlucky) enough to venture too far off the beaten path. With new stories from witnesses who claim they’ll never set foot in the forest again, Jones continues to shine a light on the uncanny experiences that linger in the minds of those who’ve lived them.

Whether you're a skeptic or a seasoned believer in the supernatural, Strange Things in the Volume 2 will take you to places where the wilderness keeps its secrets—and dares you to uncover them.

This is volume 2 in this new series. The author has collected some great stories in this edition. The witnesses learned that it's best to leave the woods alone, especially at night. Several new cryptids in this edition as well. The trucker's rest stop story was a highlight, very spooky. On to book 3 in the series! I hope the author publishes more!

not as carefully edited as Vol 1

But the stories are interesting …. The variety and unique stories are worth a read. Unfortunately, there is a decidedly lack of punctuation and basic editing in some of them. Chapter 14 is an example. Great stuff but hard to get through the nonsense sentences and lack of punctuation. It’s an unnecessary distraction from an otherwise great story.

I found most of these stories to be far fetched and over exaggerated, but who am I to judge ? I never saw these creatures .. I find it weird to that the people telling the stories write like they are trying to write a book , lots of descriptions that aren't needed, unless the author did this ..kind of annoys me almost makes the stories sound even more exaggerated, but that's my opinion .

These are not necessarily clear-cut cryptids but are still interesting. Stories include a drumming sound, maybe a black wolf, something Bigfoot like, a black horse with a rider in black, a ghost lady, lizard beings and various others.

The stories are interesting and the approach is unusual.
