When you survive an ordeal like I did at such a young age, people tend to label you a victim. That will never be me. I am a fighter.
The past does not define me. So when my secret savior comes out of the shadows to prove his love, I do what I do best, fight. Against my family, enemies, and my own heart.
Because how could I have found true love during the worst time of my life?
My name is Dorian Cole, SAA of the MorningStar MC, and I make my own rules.
I'm a retired 45-year-old Puerto Rican wife and mother of 3 plus 1 bonus daughter. Originally from NYC, now living a quiet life in the south suburbs of Chicago. I enjoy reading and writing romance and erotic fiction. I'm addicted to coffee, sci-fi, and all things Marvel and Harry Potter.
I was a teen mom with a whole world of statistics against me. Every time I was told I couldn't do something, I did it, took pictures, and smiled with my son on my hip for everyone who ever doubted me.
Now, after finding the love of my life in my thirties, we married in the great 2020 pandemic, which shall not be named. We have a house full of teenagers who don't need mommy anymore, and the hubs is a traveling ER nurse, SO I have found myself with a lot of downtime.
After years of having this story taking space in my head, I decided to share it with the world. Gotta say, this writing gig is HARD. But with some time and grace, I'll get it right.
When I finished reading Abel I wanted to read the next book in the series as the women in this series are as badass as the men they take no crap from anyone loved it cant wait to read anything else by this author
This is the second book of the series. I enjoyed it. I do look forward to more from this new author. Dorian and Willy meet in an unfortunate situation when they were younger. Years later they meet again in another situation. Can they overcome them and be together?
I loved this book.. I loved everything Dorian and Willy.. This was a fun and fast read.. Dorian and Willy meet when she is but approx 14 yrs old.. in some not so good circumstances.. but when a chance (or maybe not so much chance) meeting quite a few years later... is it fate or no? was it meant to be? Can the past be forgiven or has to much damage been done?
This series has been amazing and I can not wait to see where this author take us.
I absolutely adore Dori and Willy!! These two met in unfortunate circumstances when they were teens but will he knew she was it for him from the first meeting. Years later they meet again under vastly different circumstances. Is fate trying to pull them together? What part will the MC play in their relationship?
Dori and Willy’s story is so unique to them with lots of history and they work through so many twists and turns to get to their HEA. Their families play a very important role in the storyline and you’re never quite comfortable until almost the end with how things will finish up. Supporting MC adds to the comic entries. Can’t wait for Book 3 😃
Great book. This may have some triggers for some, but I thought it was a great read. Dorian is the strongest woman I "know". To have and to hold William says a lot about the 2 of them. I was an Arc reader and was glad for the opportunity to read it.
I adore Dori and Willy. They meet on unfortunate circumstances when Dori was 14 but Willy knew she was it for him. Six years go by till they meet again. Is it fate? I loved seeing Dori grow and seeing the other characters. BTW I love this cover!
I read Abel the first book in this series and immediately wanted to read this book because The main character is my type of lady! I love adult motorcycle books and can’t say enough How great this one is!! Sex scenes, drama, fights and plot twists.
Really surprised me the way it was written. I was blown away from all the action and punch it had that is for sure. I can’t wait to read more of th MorningStar MC. You must start from the beginning of the series on this one!!
This motorcycle club is addicting now I have to go by three and four Dorian story was amazing. The twist and the turns are all you could ever want. I cannot wait for Sebastian story
She always need to be in control, he can't help who his family is. They share a connection, but is it enough? Will they make it out alive?
Have to say this one took me through the emotions. I loved how strong she was despite what her past was and how she stood up for herself and their love. I loved how he was determined to do anything to protect her and was a much better man, than originally thought. Great read!
Dorian is badass! She didn’t get her position in the club for nothing. I love that she takes no crap and isn’t afraid of nobody. Really enjoyed reading her and Willy’s story. They’ve been so much together over the years. The big question was, would they have their HEA? Especially with all the danger lurking.
The 2nd instalment of the Morningstar MC series by sweet Desiree Williams.
This book is all bad ass Dorian. She is my definition of a warrior and was a great role model to read about today when I didn’t quite feel like one myself.
An aspect I LOVE about this series that it also goes in depth of the other members of the MC and the beginnings of their love stories. Getting you excited and wanting to eat these books up!
Favourite quotes (I couldn’t pick one):
#1. “We are so far from normal. I am the yin to her yang but this world we both live in doesn’t fit black or white. We are going to survive in the grey, or die trying. I do know, no matter what, we will do it together.”
#2. “True love hurts Dori. Nothing worth having comes easy. I don’t give two fucks how cliché or wrong you think we are. What I do know is no matter what love is worth fighting for. Are you going to fight with me or against me Tesoro? I’m sending up prays to the big guy above that she sees fucking reason. I can’t do this alone, moreover, I don’t want to.”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
p.s. Most know of my mental health situation and I just want to say how much these stories have saved me and distracted me from my demons. I haven’t been able to turn on the tv for almost 3 months now. But I am so grateful I can still get lost in a book.
A unique MC of ex military where the women are just as badazz as the men. Dorian as well as the other women are independent, mouthy, dominant firecrackers! It takes one heck of a man to try to tame them. After unfortunate circumstances Dorian and Willy are back together. Obstacles are thrown in path not only testing their relationship but almost costing them their lives. Their love and passion for one another seals their future. Loved the banter!! Can't wait for Sebastian!! Satan and Violet's story!!
This book was entertaining and full of action. I have it 3 stars because I am new to this author and I am still learning and a lot of them were thrown in. I feel like it was a really good story line I just need to get used to this author’s writing style. I read this book as an arc and I am very appreciative of the opportunity but it was hard to follow with so many errors. But the author addressed the errors immediately and gave a justification for them so all is well. I’ll see what the next one holds!
I am enjoying this mc series, I love that it has a different style and how the story interconnects throughout the books. I enjoyed seeing the romance bloom between these two as we found out more from what happened when they were younger and how they overcame it to find love.
This is a great story. I love the adventure, the suspense and the family. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. I can't wait to see what happens with Satan!
I love Dorian so much, she is so spunky. She might be one of my favorite characters in the series.
Book two was again, well written and a fast easy read. I could have read it faster but I didn’t want it to end! There are a few chapters that were just, wow! Didn’t see them coming.
I had the pleasure to read D. Williams, MorningStar MC series. This is my first experience reading about motorcycle clubs (MC). And D. Williams did not disappoint. She offers a glossary of slang associated with the MC and that is very helpful to people new to this world. She also provides the hierarchy of the MorningStar MC along with who is who. This allowed me to follow the characters with the club names while I started into this series.
The series follows each of the main club members and how they found their partners or what they call “old lady” or “old man”. Their stories are captivating, spicy and will pull at your heartstrings. The love these characters show for each other is what any reader would want for themselves. Each book has romance, spice, thrill and even terror. Oh did I say spice…… The love stories are mixed with everything you could hope for from age gap, MMF, BDSM, and goes on. The spice is there and I love it’s not a slow burn relationship. She gives you what you are seeking and some! You see the love each member has for their MC family and their loyalty that is earned. You become engrossed into their world and you can’t stop. You get your fill and when the book ends, you jump right to the next one.
Dorian is one of the daughters of the President of MorningStar MC. A person of her past comes back into her life, but is he a friend or a foe. She won’t know what he wants until she relives her past trauma. Willie has always love Dorian, but is that enough? They have to work together to get of the trouble but also convince the rest of the club to get their help!
D. Williams doesn’t stop here with this series. Oh no! She continues the stories in her spin off, MorningStar MC – Reno Chapter. It’s not complete yet, but she does not disappoint with this series either. It’s just as good as the original MorningStar MC and I can’t wait to see that to completion either!
Thank you D. Williams for bringing the world to life and allowing me to get lost for a little while and come out smiling, crying, laughing and more!
And let's keep going. I have only read one book from this author and I knew that I needed to read more. D. Williams is amazing and her books are so good. Dorian is the second book from the Morningstar MC series and explores the lives of Dorian and Willy. Guys, despite the fact that these books are standalone, I advise you to read this series from the beginning because some events take place in the previous book. Dorian is the SAA for the Morningstar MC, a job she takes seriously because in a men's world she must prove herself. Dorian and Willy knew each other when they were kids, but not under great circumstances. Things happened and they lost track. Now, years later they re-encountered each other and... Dayum... If I thought that the first book was intense... This one was off the charts. Great plot, well written, super engaging, dark, and intense. Each chapter was more addictive than the latest and I couldn't stop reading. Things were happening in a way that made it impossible to stop reading. Hit after hit, blow after blow, made my mind hurt. Dorian is a force of nature. She's feisty, determined, and a bit crazy. Loved her And Willy, oh sweet and intense man. He was alpha with a soft spot. The level of emotions displayed in this book was powerful and I could feel it in my bones. And the hot stuff... Oh boy... Off charts. It's amazing to keep having glimpses of the other members of this MC. I can't wait to start the next book. Thank God I don't have to wait for it. Great book D. Williams. You nailed it as well.
The second in the MorningStar MC series, and these do need to be read in order. There are quite a few characters that are at play, and a few even get their own POV chapter (for their own storyline). We learned in the previous story bits of what happened years ago, and the connection between Willy and Dorian. Willy needs Dorian's help in order to take over the cartel, will he be able to convince her to help?
This was a really good story, you are sucked in with loads of drama, violence, danger, and of course really hot naughty bits. There is a lot going on, and some was a bit distracting and had nothing to do with the story that was going on but setting up that character for their story, if that makes any sense. Also, editing is really needed, there are loads of mistakes. I'm hoping that as we get further in the series the editing gets better but we shall see. I give this 4 stars.
At the end of Dylan's book, we learned that Will was not what he seemed. Dorian couldn't understand her feelings and the secrets she learned made her question them more but would she do as he asked?
There is action, steam, new and old characters those reading the series have come to love, as well as twists and turns. She's one of those few women in an MC let alone an officer. She has gone through horrors that still affect her but she won't be considered a victim. She'll fight back for all the victims and work with her brother-in-law to rescue them.
I can guarantee you won't want to put it down until you are finished and then--you'll want more. The good news is that although you can read these alone you'll be glad to know it is a series. I'm on to book three. Reviewed for Words Turn Me On
Dorian aka Pinky is the sister to her twin Dylan and Sebastians daughter. Dylan was not as lucky as her sister to escape when they were kidnapped she endured endless torture and rape by the Cardona cartel family. This is where willy comes into play of how he met Dorian during the kidnapping with his family. We get to see both there stories unfold together and separately. Fast forward into adults Willy comes back to take Dorian as his at whatever cost and learn he's secretly a Fbi agent and going to take down his entire cartel family while also marrying and impregnate Dorian at the same time. I love how Dorian gets a kick butt role-position inside the Mc which is a good fit and outlet to take out on bad guys. During this book you will get a better understanding of Dorian and Willy and of course you can't forget the more insight into other members of the club.

Dorian is one tough chick. Loved her story. She was introduced in the first book as the twin sister of Dylan (MFC from 1st book). She is a sharpshooter and sergeant of arms in her dad's MC club. At the end of book 1, she is kidnapped by the love of her life, who happens to be the MC's enemy (of course). I personally love Will and Dorian together. You find out about their history more in the 1st book. I do recommend reading them in order or you will not have as much of the back story. Dorian was a victim of rape at the hands of a rival mafia when she was a teen. The attack is not very graphic, and it is actually Will who helps her escape. (And don't worry- she does get retribution!) Narrator did a fabulous job! I am looking forward to next book- I think the first 3 are on audiobook.
Dorian suffered abuse and rape from the animals related to Willy of the Cardona cartel in Cuba, but she is a very strong young woman. Willy was supposed to also abuse and rape her but that was not his style and he pretended that he did. He was also an FBI agent and recruited Dorian in a way that no one knew. They actually fell in love with each other and she felt kind of guilty for these feelings. They got married but there was a catch and it was done and his dads lawyer gave him the instructions needed to open the safe for all of the illegal stuff that he had been doing. Lots more twist and turns happened as well and some will be told in upcoming books. Happy reading.
Pathetic! I thought I'd give this author another chance but this was just as bad as the first piece of drivel. So many grammatical errors plus punctuation issues. There were words that were misused & some made up words. There was switching between writing as though you were texting and poor English. If you can publish, then should you employ an editor besides autocorrect. The story was unimaginative at best. The writing was amateurish. My 5th grader could write a book report better than this. What little sexiness there was, was incredibly short which was pathetic. If you're gonna gloss over the sex, don't bother publishing a MC story. There are so many better authors out there besides this wannabe. Don't one click this one!
Never judge a Book by it's cover comes to my mind when reading Dorian & Willy's story. They both have survived trauma at a young age and had to endure horrible things. It is a raw but beautiful story about finding love when least expecting and then willing to accept that it is ok and you deserve love too. I really enjoyed getting to know Dorian. It is refreshing to read about a woman who not only is mentally strong but also physically. Willy is a great match for her. He is proud of her skills but also gives her space to submit and be taken care of. Loved the story, I would recommend only start reading when you have plenty of time, as it is near impossible to put down once you start reading - enjoy
