So now she is going to have to give up cable......No more Fortune's Fool! She has been a fangirl of FF even before it hit the air. Bought the graphic novel in high school and read it till it was falling apart. She will have to keep up with it with her cousin Savannah Oglethrope Williams. She got married a few months ago to a totally hot guy with a British accent named Jonas.........Wyatt Armstrong...aka NC Wyatt, 22 yrs old has hit a virtual wall. Page after page in his sketchbook is crap! Everything he draws since coming to Central Florida is crap!...engine......Felicity goes into work at Petes Diner where she picks up shifts for pocket money. She spots a guy that has been coming in recently with a sketchbook. She walks over with the coffee pot as he throws down his pencil and covers his face with his hands and groans......he reaches out to take the mug so she hands it over. Their fingers touch and ...Zing!!! a charge, they both feel it.....He comes up to pay his bill, picks up his phone and leaves. Some time later she see 's that she has his phone. It is locked so she calls her phone, no answer. She has to wait for him to call from her phone....So she goes to Savannah & Jonas house for FF and have a great time. Afterwards Savannah gives her a chunky green stone. A lucky stone. She says it's time for her to have it. As soon as she touch's it, the other guys phone rings. Later while she was looking at the stone in the moonlight she sees "Fortuna" etched and then a face flashed, sketchbook hottie's face.( NC Wyatt) .... Then he is there and they trade phones, start talking about FF and she finds out who he is..........Now .....the only other thing I will tell you is that all the pieces of the Brigonne Emerald are now known. "Charmed By The Thief" by, Katherine Garbera This is the story that brings it all together. The Brigonne exhibit was being hosted in the private home of a collector in Cannes. And to ultimately take the emerald home to Lincolnshire in the United Kingdom where Hugh Brigonne had been a baron in the Middle Ages. But first........Devlin O'Dowd has a cat burglar to catch. Yep , pieces of the emerald are being stolen, and he is pretty sure by who. He had his hands on her once in Florida and she got away....Jules Monroe has been back from her Florida holiday for two weeks and at her job at the Hampton Court Palace. She is a historian and lived for history. She's been avoiding her father and Devlin, he'd been watching her. She wasn't sure if it's the link to her father's research or if he somehow recognized her as the black cat. So the chase is on and it gets real interesting when they get romantically involved. Jules isn't going to keep the pieces, she is doing it to spite her father. But she will learn something later on that will show her father in a different light...Meanwhile the emerald has one more job to do before it's put to rest. And it's great fun watching this one come together. The emeralds stories from all the previous books are brought together here and the circle closes. The words that were etched into the emerald by Hugh in 1201, that gave each piece their "job" to do so to speak come back as a whole and I like to think it sealed the deal! I truly enjoyed this magical journey and all the hotness didn't hurt either!
I was able to read Enchanted by an Emerald by Wynter Daniels. I loved this story! It had a great plot, awesome characters, and made you feel like you were part of the book! I enjoyed the story and was kept guessing till the end! Will rate others as I get a chance to read them when it releases!
I thought this set of four love stories was wonderful. A lot of box sets are different romance stories by different authors, this box set is different in that the legend of the emerald is told thru the lives of different couples and different times in history. It was nice to read how the gem traveled in time and brought true love to those who were to shy, scared or just put off by love. I enjoyed how the authors kept to their own style of writing while contributing to the whole story. This is a definite MUST read.

REVIEW
I am new to reading all but one of these authors. There are 7 authors and 7 books in this bundle. Each story is based around an enchanted emerald and what delights it brings to those who have it.
The stories are all well written each giving their own twist. Very romantic and all about finding that one true love who is meant for you. Each couple goes through a complication but comes out with a happily ever after.
We have long lost loves, we have pirates and dreams so many different twists to each story.
I would highly recommend this book to those who love a good romance story
I was gifted a copy of this book for my honest review Wynter Daniels
I received this fabulous box set in an ARC from the very talented Wynter Daniels for an honest review. This is different from other compilation book sets from various authors that I have read before. They are usual separate stories of a similar theme. This is actually seven authors that write a story about an Emerald, the Brigonne Emerald and it's travel through time and the people it effects, with each author providing us a wonderful story in time. A KNIGHT TO REMEMBER by CATHERINE KEAN This is the story of lost love found again, of Aislinn and Hugh, set in 1201, England. Lady Aislinn Locksmeade is on her weekly escort to market when she spies a naked unconscious man in the forest. The man looks familiar. He reminds her of her love from the past. When they move him she finds an Emerald the size of a goose egg underneath him, in a framework of gold. Gilly, Aislinn's lady in waiting is sure he is some kind of criminal. Despite the protest of others Aislinn takes this stranger to the healer. While she is doing business (her home Pendersley Keep is in need of repairs and she must pay the taxes or the king will force her to marry)she spies some shifty characters trying to sell wares. Aislinn brings the stranger to Pendersley Keep to recoup. He has lost his memory. While he is healing she feels he is her Hugh from long ago. During his recovery there is an attraction between them. Aislinn also has to guard from the Lord Riverwell, who is pursuing her. While the stranger recoups in Aislinn's deceased husbands room he sees these words on the wall Fortitudo, Fidelitas and Fortuna, which becomes his mantra. Aislinn takes him to town, where upon being reunited with his daughter Phillipa he remembers he is Lord Hugh Brigonne. Now, to not let too much out of the bag more intrigue pursues as to why he was attacked and by who. In the end the words Fortitudo, Fidelitas and Fortuna are engraved on the Emerald. I loved this story, it fed into my love of historical romance. HER PIRATE FROM THE PAST by CARO CARSON This story first starts off in the present with Savannah Oglethorpe, a police officer who is being wooed by Kayed Security. She would spend 3 days in Savannah Georgia interviewing and was being taken to one of the cities privately owned historical homes for dinner. At the home they are given a tour and told it'd history, of the owner who was believed to be the legendary pirate Captain Jonas Black. They are told his story and when she see's his picture she thinks "Jonas looks nothing like that". Fearing she is losing her mind she backtracks from the tour and ends up lost, She goes up a staircase and looks out a window, when she returns the stairs are gone and she falls into nothingness. She lands and follows a tunnel to to entrance of a cave and see men dressed in period clothes, believing them to be re-enactors, she approaches one and faints. Savannah has gone back to 1740 and this is Captain Jonas Black. Jonas now has the Brigonne Emerald and for months he has seen the face of a woman in the stone, this woman he now has on his ship. The crew believe her to be a witch. She speaks and dresses strangely. Jonas comes to believe Savannah and tries to help her go back. Yet he is also trying to change and do good for his brother. The Brigonne Emerald gets broken into 3 pieces. Savannah comes to believe she can stay here in 1740 with Jonas, but that is not whats in store. I love me a sexy pirate and Jonas is definitely one. WHEN WE GET TO PARIS by T. ELLIOT BROWN France, 1944 during WWII. This the story of Henry, an American Soldier in the British Special Duties squadron who has been given the green Stewart Stone from his uncle Malcolm to protect him, that has engraved 'delitas" on it. It is also about Simone, a french widow and her child Marie-Claire. They find this wounded American soldier and take him home to help him. This is a dangerous time with Nazis all over France. Henry was to take money to the French resistance and missed his drop off. Through this Simone and Henri come to love one another and when she is attacked by Nazis soldiers, he cannot leave her and Marie-Claire behind. I could feel the fear of the characters in this story. War is not pretty, yet they found love with each other. EMERALD INTRIGUE by WYNTER DANIELS Set in the present. In Emerald Intrigue Natalie Brewster, the owner of a shop that sells vintage items is at an estate sale when she comes across an ornate box. This something she never would buy, but a vision from an older lady convinces her to buy it. When she gets home she finds this amazing stone that lights up and she swears she she's the face of her handsome neighbor Jack Hampton. It is engraved with the word "delitas". Just as soon as she see's the face, it is gone. She is attracted to her neighbor and he is to her. When Jack stops by she shows him the stone and the same thing happens to him and he see's her face in the stone. Jack assists Natalie in find information about this stone, being he is an ex cop and PI. Then the danger starts with someone trying to get the emerald. During this time their attraction and feelings for one another come to the surface. A wonderful fast read. This is great Novella that grabs you from the get go and keeps you caught up in the action and romance. I LOVED IT! WHAT TO KEEP by NANCY ROBARDS THOMPSON This is a story about Emma Conrad Butler, who has gone back home to Iris Island after the death of her mother Mae Dell. With her is her son Cody. She is anxious to be home and to see her love from the past Sawyer Sullivan and to take care of her mother's belongings. She is also being forced by her husband for a divorce. He has removed most of their money from the bank. While out with her Son on the beach she finds this piece of beautiful green seas glass. When she touches it she is zinged with an image of her and Sawyer making love. It is engraved with the words "Fortitudo Fi". When she goes to Sawyer to cater her mother's funeral (he owns The Thirsty Pirate)she finds her husband has cancelled the credit cards too. The sea glass becomes her touch stone and helps her through this hard time, as well as Sawyer, who has never stopped loving her. I loved this romantic tale, another reconnection to your past. FORTUNE'S FOOLS by MIMI WELLS Things weren't going well for Felicity. Her roommate was moving out, she had bills, a not great job and an extra job as a waitress. She also received grief from her father for having an English and Drama degrees instead of an Engineering degree as the rest of the family or a real job. She did have an obsession Fortune's Fools, she was a fan of the graphic novel and now of television show. It was so popular it was what everyone at work talked about. It is also about Wyatt Armstrong, the creator of Fortune's Fool. He created the graphic Novel back in high school, under an alias. He now was reaping the benefits of the show, but he felt he lost his creative edge and couldn't sketch anymore or everything he sketched was crap. He is sketching in a diner when he meets this cute waitress and by accident they end up switching cell phones. Felicity is without cable so calls upon her cousin Savannah and her husband Jonas to watch Fortune's Fool at their house. While she is there she Savannah gives Felicity her lucky green stone. It is engraved with the word "Fortuna". Felicity and Wyatt meet to exchange back cell phones. The next day Wyatt meets her outside her work at lunch time and the go to lunch together. She invites him to join her at Swamp Con, a cosplay convention. Before the lunch is over, they are kissing. Then there is the surprise of who Wyatt is. I loved this. Being a Princess Bride fan I loved all the references to this movie. CHARMED BY THE THIEF bu KATHERINE GARBERA The legend is the emerald pieces will present themselves all at once when it is time for the whole stone to be reassembled. Jules Monroe has returned as the Black Cat to steal her father's part of the Brigonne Emerald. A piece she swore she saw a face in, that was familiar. Devlin O'Dowd has been hired to secure the exhibit of the Brigonne Emerald and now he has just lost a piece to the Black Cat. He will find it. When Jules is visited at work by Devlin, she wonders if he has figured her out, but feels her frumpy appearance will disguise her from him. After meeting with Jules Devlin believes her to be the Black Cat, but is unable to prove it. Jules plans to outbid her father when the next piece of the Brigonne Emerald goes up for auction at Sotheby's. Her father has been so obsessed with the Brigonne Emerald he never had time for her mother or her. When she wins the auction Devlin offers to protect the Emerald for her and again Jules takes on the role of the Black Cat, to fool him into thinking they are separate people. As Jules and Devlin get to know each other better she comes to trust him and wants to stop with her revenge on her father. Yet when her father reveals why he was obsessed with the Emerald, she changes her mind about him. Does she feel secure enough to reveal herself as the Black Cat to Devlin. This was a wonderful end to the story of the Brigonne Emerald, a wonderful cat and mouse tale. I thoroughly loved this set and the wonderful tale of this magical stone. A book set for a true romantic, with adventure, humor and passion. You will love these stories.
One enchanted emerald - "a rare and valuable gemstone that was rumored to unite soul mates" Does it indeed have Romantic Powers???. I can not wait to follow the emerald's journey and find out.
"A Knight to Remember" by Catherine Kean:
Lady Aislinn Locksmeade and her armed escort come upon a naked man just lying by the side of the road. She does not know who he is, except very handsome and intriguing! She will not continue on until she makes sure he is alright. He is alive but badly injured. On the ground beside him, under some nettles, she discovers a gold-link pendant with a large emerald stone. "We may not know his identity, but someone does. He is someone's lord, someone's son, brother or even....lover." They load him in their wagon to take him to the healer in the town they are headed to. Our journey has begun!
This story is beautifully written, sweet and so romantic with some humor and sadness along the way. Excellent character and story line development! I could not wait to find out who the man was and what had happened to him and who was responsible! Loved how it all turns out at the end. An Awesome start to this anthology!
"Her Pirate From The Past" by Caro Carson
Captain Jonas Black, Pirate, holds the largest emerald he has ever seen. "The emerald was shot through with flecks of gold, and Jonas had discovered that if he held it to the yellow light of the lantern at an angle, just so, a woman's face appeared." Savannah Oglethrope falls back through time to the year 1740, where she becomes a guest of Captain Black on his pirate ship!
I Loved every single thing about this story - The pirates, the comparisons between the two time periods, the attraction between Jonas and Savannah, the role the Emerald plays. Savannah donning the clothes of a 1740 lady is laugh out loud funny and other parts of the story (no I'm not telling you what!) had me crying big ugly tears. And somewhere along the way, I fell madly in love with them all! Each time I thought I knew exactly where it was headed - WHAM - another plot twist and turn. Had one of the most memorable endings of any book I have read.
I'm not sure if I have ever read a time travel book before, and was a little skeptical about liking it! Nope - Loved it!! If you've never read time travel, this is the story for you! Simply magical!
"When We Get To Paris" by T. Elliott Brown
" "The Stewart Stone." Irregular-shaped, clear, green stone - Henry closed his fingers over it. According to family lore, the green rock brought luck and true love to the person who possessed it."
""Nothing good about war." A beautiful Love story set during the very worst of times. The war torn countryside and the Nazis invasions of homes was how I imagined WW II. Characters are so realistically portrayed - I could feel their suffering and pain and anger and fear. And Hope. Loved little Marie-Claire. She gave the story a whole additional depth! I wholeheartedly agree with Author T. Elliott Brown - "Henry and Simone's story of love and bravery." Just Incredible!
"Emerald Intrigue" by Wynter Daniels
"A jewel-encrusted trinket box that seemed to ..glow." A pouch sewn into the lining revealed a deep, rich green piece of stone.
When the jewel came alive and revealed Jack to Natalie and then Natalie to Jack, I was sure this was going to be a charming, whimsical, fall in love romance. What I hadn't expected was the addition of someone willing to kill to get the emerald! Loved the suspense, the chemistry between Jack and Natalie, the lengths they were willing to go to overcome both her past and their completely opposite social statuses. Was exciting to visit some old friends, when the history of the diamond was revealed. "There's definitely something...I don't know, supernatural about it." No question in my mind that it posses the magic to find true love.
" What To Keep" by Nancy Robards Thompson
"This piece of glass is flat and cool in my hand, with a deep, rich. unusual green color. I eye the glass and before I can shove it into the hip pocket of my Capri pants, a sudden dizzy spell makes my world feel as though it has tipped on its axis."
Loved both Emma and Sawyer in this absolutely captivating second chance romance. Together, the sparks just radiate off them - same attraction they had always had for each other! Great development of all the relationships Em has to deal with throughout the story - saying goodbye to her Mom, her cheating husband, her son and her sexy thoughts of Sawyer! Some really funny moments as she interacted with the story of the emerald and with the stone itself! From page 1 to 'The End", I never put my kindle down. AND I Fell "even deeper in love" when I read the last page!
"Fortune's Fool" by Mimi Wells
"Savannah holds up a chunky green stone. This 'rock' brought me...Jonas. It brought me here, with Jonas, so it's my lucky stone. And now I think you need to have it."
This is such a Unique and Heartwarming and Fantabulous story!! Felicity and Wyatt - from that very first ZING, they are both SO "adorkable" - how could I not fall madly in Love with them!! I was beyond excited to see that Felicity and Savannah were cousins! It was so perfectly incorporated into the story, I felt I was being reunited with my long lost pirate family! And their piece of the Emerald, which they give to Felicity, having "Fortuna - FATE" on it - was just Perfect! Felicity as a babbling fangirl for N.C. Wyatt, author of "Fortune's Fool" TV show and all the dressed up followers at the SwampCon convention and SO many other parts were just Laugh-Out-Loud funny! Between my love for the storyline and all the incredible inspiration that came along the way - I really feel the need to start "fangirling" Mimi Wells!!!!!!!
"Charmed By The Thief" by Katherine Garbera
"The Brigonne Emerald had been brought back from the Crusades by one of her distant ancestors - Hugh Brigonne."
I expected that the last story of this anthology would be the reuniting of all the parts to make the Brigonne Emerald whole once again. I had not expected such an extraordinary and funny romp through the streets in Florida and the UK to make that happen! Jules, as the Black Cat, really pushed every one of Devlin's protective buttons. Seeing their faces reflected in the emerald's pieces and knowing the "magic" would do it's job and "True Love" just HAD to be waiting for them, made the cat and mouse chase all that much more enjoyable! Another exceptionally good story, with a wonderful ending, that sadly, brings us to the conclusion of the Emerald's journey!
It is Rare to find an anthology that has seven stories by seven different authors with seven different styles and yet has one common thread that binds them to each other. It is even more rare to discover that each story, in it's own individual way, is an Outstanding romance. Seven amazing opportunities to fall in Love!
A very special "Thank You" to Author Nancy Robards Thompson for allowing me the privilege of reading this Anthology early.
“Emerald Intrigue” by Wynter Daniels is included in this “Enchanted by an Emerald”. Other authors that are included in the bundle are Catherine Kean, Caro Carson, T. The jewel affects her life in ways that she had never imagined. Natalie’s past threatens to destroy her life as she knows it, so she turns to her neighbor, Jack who she is infatuated with, for help. Pick up this amazing bundle to find out if that old saying “Opposites Attract” is true.
Love the concept of the same enchanted emerald in all the stories. Exciting authors tell wonderful stories. The novellas are the perfect read for my busy lifestyle.

You MUST read this book if you like romance stories. And what a way to discover new writers. That said, the premise was amazing. As the emerald goes from hand-to-hand through the centuries you feel like you are being pulled along with it. I admit, I'm a slow reader, but not this book! I zipped through it. I love that these are novellas so you can read each author's story nearly in one setting. Then jump into the next one. Each writer has a strong voice and *chops* for writing so this was a complete treat to read. Rumor has it they have another one in the works. Yeah!!
This was disappointing. But for the first story I did not care for the rest as each story became more contemporary. Also, the second story was a time travel romance, and although it was cute I did not care for it either.
3.5* bordering on 4. Liked the concept if it, rather sweet romance stories and that in several cases it was not an insta-love, but a second chance one.
