Fire Dodger

A fire rages through the mountain, and mandatory evacuation is in force, but Maggie won't leave without her daughter, who is missing and believed to be trapped inside a burning house. It's a race against time to find her before the fire completely engulfs the house.

This is a very proficient inspirational short story which arouses various emotions in the reader. The descriptions of the physical surroundings and events, mainly the fire in the story, are well-handled, making one feel as if they are there with the characters in their darkest hours.
