I've met Jamye and heard her mention briefly that part of her work is channeling light language. Because one of my closest friends is a professional channel, and because I am a foreign language teacher with experience in several languages, I was interested in finding out more about what light language is. So when I saw Jamye's book on a friend's coffee table, I asked to borrow it.
This book is well organized and covers a lot of ground, but the writing is straightforward and easy to follow. It begins with Jamye's personal journey into channeling, in which she describes her own resistance to it. This is important because it seems that so many people who are drawn to this work have to face and overcome a lot of stigmas attached to it. It certainly is not a topic everyone knows about or feels comfortable with, so I enjoyed reading about how she made peace with that.
Beyond that, Jamye explains in a clear voice exactly what light language is, how it differs from human language, where it comes from, and what its purpose is. She also gives enough background information on densities, dimensions, human evolution, and the scientific context you might need to understand the work that channels do. There is also a glossary of related terms that should be especially helpful for beginners.
Of course, Jamye also gives instructions on how to channel light language yourself in many different ways, such as writing, speaking, or moving the hands. Her directions are specific enough to make you feel like you know where to start, but she still encourages you to remember that all channeling experiences are different and to remain open to how things go.
I had two favorite parts of the book. First, I appreciate that Jamye speaks about how humans need to do ego work to keep themselves in balance and to become clearer channels, if that is their path. She talks about how important it is to process emotions, and she often gives pertinent, real-life examples of egos that are either too strong or too weak. I also enjoyed the chapters on different sources of light language (elven, faerie, galactic, angelic, etc). I know quite a few people who channel (I have some interesting friends!) and many of them channel entities from these various sources. Until I read this book, I didn't entirely understand what it meant to channel a faerie energy, for example, or why someone might do that. Now the work of some of my friends makes a lot more sense.
If you're interested at all in channeling, this book will be a solid resource for you. Jamye seems to be a channel who is incredibly grounded and humble in her work, and the information she presents here is thorough and easy to grasp. And if you decide to try the channeling techniques, you will feel that Jamye is encouraging you and supporting you as you make the leap into light language communication.

So much more ground was covered in this book than I expected! Jayme shares quite a bit of super helpful background info and research, as well as some fantastic advice. If this topic interests you, you won’t be disappointed with this read!

Great Book!
I learned a lot about Light Language and how it can help my spiritual journey. I’ve been practicing Light Language for many years but didn’t have a name for it until now. I highly recommend reading Jayme’s book.

This book is an amazing journey into life itself, as well as practical and educational about light language. Jayme has put into words things that I have been experiencing for sometime. It was incredibly validating, inspiring, and hopeful to read her perspective on what is happening in the world.
