Walaupun terdapatnya perkataan comprehensive di dalam tajuk buku ini,namun,saya berpandangan bahawa isi kandungan buku ini bersifat terpilih atau selective dan tidaklah begitu menyeluruh dan teliti. Malahan,penulis buku ini melakukan satu kesilapan yang sangat fundamental dan tidak patut dilakukan sekiranya beliau mendakwa dirinya sebagai pakar hal ehwal ketenteraan. Pada muka surat 248,beliau menyatakan bahawa United States Navy SEAL sebagai sebuah unit operasi khas di bawah kawalan United States Army atau Tentera Darat Amerika Syarikat. Ini satu kesilapan fakta yang sangat ketara. US Navy SEAL sebenarnya merupakan pasukan khas di bawah perintah Tentera Laut Amerika Syarikat.

Tetapi,secara asasnya,bolehlah saya katakan buku ini masih lagi sesuai dibaca oleh khalayak umum sebagai rujukan asas,lebih-lebih lagi kepada mereka yang mempunyai pengetahuan hal ehwal ketenteraan yang cetek. Tambahan pula,gambar-gambar dan ilustrasi-ilustrasi yang disediakan di dalam buku ini juga sangat cantik dan informatif.

I am a really huge fan of this book. I have read the book for more than 10 times and still enjoy each and every time. Love the insight, the information, the map, the picture, and the details of several key battles and armies from different eras. Easily one pf the best book I have ever read!!! For a huge history and war book fan, this is arguably the best one for me!! Would live to recommend this book to history lovers out there!!! Love the book so much!!!
