This series of books is very much like real estate, location, location, location. The settings of the stories is about the only thing that has kept me reading. The author's descriptions of the places and the sights are well done. Her male protagonists are likeable and the supporting characters are also interesting. The main female character in the books is my main problem. Keira makes me crazy. She has shown some growth over the series but she is still jumping to conclusions, deciding what everyone else is thinking and running away based on her assumptions. She needs to grow up! She is never going to be able to be in a relationship, no matter how great the guy is, until she learns to communicate and quit being such a whiner. I am still trying to decide if I will read #4 to see if she makes progress. At the very least it is another locale I could visit vicariously. Another star is lost because the editing is atrocious.

Editing errors were distracting

Love Sophia Love’s books, however, this one seemed to have skipped the editing stage. Lots of grammatical and sentence structure errors that for me, as one who loves our language and has studied it a lot over the years, was very distracting at times! I would have to go back and reread. Actually, there was one sentence where I had absolutely NO idea what she was trying to say. The story overall was okay, but I had a hard time seeing them together as a couple. Maybe that is what Sophie was trying to prepare us for in the first place. Not to count on this relationship too much. It was a roller coaster ride for sure! My lower rating for this was due mostly to the editing errors and then the lack of believability that they could ever be good for each other. If you liked Sophie’s previous “Forever” series, I think you still might like this book. We are seeing her grow stronger as a woman and, that is truly important to me.

Well, I have to read the rest of the series to find out what happens with Kiera. But my word is she frustrating. First of all she can’t fall in love in a month. I just don’t think it’s possible based on her past experiences. Maybe Zack isn’t as much of a jerk as she makes him out to be. Maybe he just can’t handle her and her flitting around. How do you fall in love two times in two months?‘s I am cynical.
I did love the backdrop of France in this book, and I thought she had a fun adventure with Cristiano. But he was willing to give her his all, and I don’t think she knows what she wants yet in a guy or for her career. A bit of a sad ending, but I felt she deserved it. Let her just be in New York and enjoy her family? From the first page of the book one she has been going going going, running running, falling in love.

Sadly this is my least favorite of the series so far.

I feel that the novels have been going down hill since Cristiano entered the picture. There wasn’t any believable chemistry between the two and it did not excite me to read about them.

I feel that Keira became more selfish and immature in this installment, which was unfortunate.

It was also upsetting that the narrator changed in this third book when the first two were read by another narrator. It’s still odd how the main character is American yet this time the narrator has a bit of an Australian accent (the first two had an English accent).

I feel that I might not continue on with the series at this point.

Love Like Ours

Sophie did a great job with her third book Love Like Ours, keeping things real and the characters real. I wasn't sure what to expect, but Sophie didn't disappoint. They characters were great, the destination fantastic, and the romance wonderful. This kept my interest with the ups and downs of the relationship and the old flames coming back for their twist. Thoroughly enjoyed this read and loom forward to the next book!

First of all, this book has errors. There are spelling and grammatical errors which is such a shame. I liked this book more than #2 though! I still am not a fan of Cristiano, and I feel like that is becoming more and more justified. I am going to continue on with this series to see what is in store for Kiara, but I really feel like the author has fallen short in cohesiveness of the writing with this one. Lazy.

Good story as always. However, I was really disappointed as almost every French words and monuments are misspelled. As a French person and French teacher, I am so negatively amazed of those mistakes. It is like the book has not been proofread!!
Such a shame!!!
“Notre DamE” is one example amongst many others!

Very disappointed

Book 3 had me feeling sad after the first few chapters and never gave me the up swing of hope.
It continued throughout the book. I felt like I had wasted a day to read a book that, instead of lifting up hope, left me feeling sad. I'm not sure if I'll read any more books from this author.

For a girl who started this series as a cynic against love, Kiera sure has gone thru plenty of men in 2 months!

Third book. Third city. It’s cool hearing about the different countries.
It is a good book, with many twists found in typical relationships (especially early on) but bummer on the ending. At least they aren’t totally crushed and split amicably. Wonder about story 4!

I loved the ending of this one!! I had a feeling it was coming but I had no idea it was going to be that way and that things would have ended like that! I knew he wasn’t the one. Shayne was a better match.

Appreciated

I appreciate that Keira didn’t just say yes to everything. I’m glad she is building a stronger backbone. She definitely needed it.

Not as good as book one, but better than book two. Quick easy beach reading.

Worst one yet. Worst book I’ve ever read in my life. The main character is horrendously insecure and annoying. Sad that I have to see the series through.

This time Kiera’s boyfriend goes with her so she doesn’t end up dating another one of her tour guides. It’s really cute until they start fighting over dumb things. Then she’s talking to her ex and then she’s talking to the ex from before him too. The plot literally plummets half way through. Would not recommend and won’t be finishing this series.
