Blessed Three (A Blessed Three Novel – Book 1) Richie Blackwell never expected magic to turn his life upside down. But when he and his best friends, Kasey Blake and Kayla Bennett, awaken powerful abilities, they learn they are part of an ancient prophecy. Hunted by dark forces and guided by a mysterious Guardian, they must master their gifts before it’s too late. As danger looms and destiny calls, the Blessed Three must stand together—because the fate of the world depends on it.
This book was an Indie Author Tuesday read. I met the author on TikTok and read his book on my Live. The story is about three best friends who move in together to do life together. Richie, Kasey, and Kayla get settled in and one at a time they start to get these "abilities." When they get together and talk about these abilities, another person appears...a guardian if you will. The guardian explains the abilities and why they have them. He also trains the trio for an upcoming battle that can destroy our world.
There's action, friendship, family, and love in this story. There's also humor, death, and grief in this story. But I have it on good authority that it's all there for a reason. This is an eight book series and I can't wait to dive in and read each one.
Richard Pinheiro-Rivera (author), wrote a great story that is personal to him (his words). It has a lot of meaning to him and I feel because of that I could really feel the heart and soul of the story. Pick it up and read it! Come back and talk to me about it.
Happy Reading!

Blessed Three by indie author Richard Pinheiro-Rivera had me STRESSED in the best way possible. That ending?? Absolutely not. I was not emotionally prepared and immediately had to start the second book because there was no way I could just sit there after THAT 😩📖
This story pulls you in fast and does not let go. The pacing keeps building, the tension is constant, and just when you think you know what’s going on… boom, something shifts. I was hooked the entire time.
But let’s talk about the CHARACTERS because that’s what really made this book stand out for me.
KASEY. 🫶✨ Hands down my favorite. Kasey has so much depth strong but still vulnerable, and you can feel everything they’re going through. Every scene with Kasey had me fully invested.
The rest of the cast? Just as compelling. You’ve got loyalty, secrets, tension, and relationships that feel real and messy. Some characters made me emotional, some made me frustrated (in a good way), and others had me completely shocked with their choices. No one felt flat everyone had a role and purpose, and it all added to the intensity of the story.
The way everything builds together and leads into that wild, heartbreaking cliffhanger?? Yeah… prepare yourself.
If you love books that are emotional, character-driven, and leave you immediately reaching for the next one, Blessed Three is definitely a must read.
This book felt like the perfect mix of adventure, heart, and whimsy.
Blessed Three by Richard Pinheiro-Rivera was such a fun fantasy read. This story follows lifelong friends who discover they’re actually reincarnated witch siblings known as the Blessed Three, and I was hooked by that concept right away. The plot was fast-paced, the world-building was easy to follow without feeling overwhelming, and the story kept me invested from start to finish. I also loved that there was a sweet love story sprinkled in, adding just the right touch of emotion to all the fantasy and magic. This book felt like the perfect mix of adventure, heart, and whimsy.
A found out about Richard’s Book through TikTok. And when he said it was a reimagined Charmed with a queer Main Character. I had to jump into it. The story is flushed out and pulls you in. There was a twist in the end that yes did gut me. I loved the friendship between Richie and his friends. And the romance between Richie and Colton was beautiful. I will most definitely be reading the rest of the series. And to see where the Blessed Coven will go moving forward.
Richie, along with his best friends Kayla and Kassey, pull you in with their humor and love for one another. Three best friends who find their magic in a world where darkness lies. Together, along with their Guardian, Colton, work to defeat The Provenance. Richie Pinhiero-Rivera has me coming back for book two. No spoilers here! Grab or download The Blessed Three to be pulled into a world you won't want to leave.
This coming from someone whom never reads witches and demon books. Picked this book up to give it a shot and OMG the way the author grabs your attention and keeps your attention throughout the entire book is truly captivating. His way with words and the plot is chiefs kiss. This book will make you feel all the feels lol. Truly a phenomenal read.
Richie is an amazing character. His and Colton's love story will have you laughing and crying. The story moves at a great pace and is so captivating! What a cliffhanger. On to the next one!
It was absolutely amazing. It had me invested from the start. It definitely was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster, but I loved every second of it. The writing style is great and I started book two the next day!
trigger warning. MM. If you haven't read this book, you need to. The plot is there! The reading is beautiful and smooth. There are some twist and turns that you won't see coming! There is some spice, not a crazy amount but what is there is.. yum. I can't wait until you read it!
Oh my lanta this book was amazing magical and heartfelt! I am not a reader of this type of material normally but I ate this baby up in one day!! So beautifully written well done sir!!
The blessed three is a great read from ritchie. The blessed three all had their own powers but when Colton the guardian came in that was it for me! Richie and Colton. What can I say about these two! The love for each other is great! I will continue to read to book 2!
I could not put this book down. Read it all in one sitting. I cannot wait to jump into book 2. Amazing read and the characters are so good and relatable. Must read for anyone who enjoys cozy paranormals with kick ass heros.
This is what I wish Charmed and Buffy the Vampire Slayer were. It has diversity, authentic LGBTQ+ representation, and a story that rips your heart out and feeds it back to you while you cry. Have tissues, snacks, and water ready, because you’re going to cry and rage all at once.
As someone who adore shows such as Charmed, when I heard the description of the book and other readers reactions to the story, I knew I had to give it a chance and I am so glad I did. This book had me hooked from the very first chapter, to the point I read the entire thing in about a day and half.
The characters are humorous and engaging that the reader can't help but fall in love with every single one of them. They will make you laugh, cry and scream at the page. Richie, Kayla and Kasey are not only best friends but each others family and their family only grows in size and strength when their lives are change completely overnight.
If you are stuck contemplating whether or not this book is worth a read, just start the book and you will not regret it. And you might as well get them all because once you start this series, you will want them all.
FORMAT: KU BUY: Gosh yes! All formats! RE-READ: Yes, yes I must do that. Reread means catching things I missed first few times through! SPICE: It's there but it's not explicit - it's sweet and matches the story perfectly. LOVE: The witty banter. The characters. The love interest. Them embracing the love. IFFY: The end :p No. It's a perfect end but you will want the second book (which is also available so bonus). FAVOURITE: I refuse to pick one! REFUSE! Kayla, Kasey, Colton and Richie! Equally #TeamKayla <3 RECOMMEND: HIGHLY! Find the author on TikTok! Richie Pinheiro-Rivera on TikTok aka @richierocksout
Highly recommend! I got completely immersed in the world and I have fallen in love with the characters so very much. I just cannot get enough!
This book literally made me start rewatching Charmed all over again! The Blessed Three is a magically charged urban fantasy that perfectly blends action, heartfelt emotion, and a modern LGBTQ+ twist.
The story follows Richie Blackwell and his best friends—Kasey Blake and Kayla Bennett—and fun fact: these three are actually best friends in real life! The book is fast-paced, easy to read, and so easy to follow that I devoured it in just one day.
What makes this debut truly shine is its bold representation. Featuring a gay male lead at the heart of a high-stakes fantasy, it proves that queer heroes can be just as powerful, complex, and captivating as any others.
The Blessed Three had me cackling, cracking up, and yelling at Richie the whole time. The surprise twists kept me on my toes, and that ending? Absolutely had me freaking out.
