This is book seven of the Dragon Rules series and the main characters are Alana Krane, a young woman who was forced away from family age fifteen, to become a seeker, and Kell, the dragon she awoke from his eternal slumber, who she insists on calling Blue, after his colour, for so much of the time. Her younger sister Mara knows nothing of why Alana left the family behind and has rarely been in contact, thinking her sister hates her. Their mother had tested them both to see if they had druid powers, but Mara had shown as having none. To keep Mara safe, her mother had told her she needed to leave, as she can’t block the dark dragon that has marked her until she comes into her powers proper when she turns twenty three! She has been travelling the world to find supernatural artifacts to help power the return of Adara to their world, as the realm she is currently in is dying. Their mother had given each of them a pendant to help protect them from the dark. Unknown to Alana or her mother, her own sister Mara ended up becoming the seer everyone was waiting for and mated with Legion, the alpha of the dragons. Mara becoming the seer was the catalyst for the temple’s return and a way to bring Adara through to this realm. Alana’s mother never knew what Mara would become as she was tested before any druid blood showed. A dark dragon has been stalking her forever and so she has never stayed anywhere or had a home since she left her family all those years ago. The dragon rune he placed on her is one usually used to tie a mate to his betrothed when they are too young to mate.

She is currently accessing a cave system to recover an artifact, her onyx circle, and just as she grabs it she somehow triggers a ward and the cave starts to come down around her and she is buried. Kell shouts out for her and wants to come save her, but she doesn’t want to be saved, she is happy to be left to die and not let her sister suffer any longer. The relics Alana finds help to boost Adara’s power until Tempest is ready to bring her to this world. Alana finds out from Legion and Kell, that the dark dragon that has been tracking her for the last eight years is actually called Breggar Night, a silver dragon, who didn’t like to follow clan law. He can tell every time she nears an artifact and turns up if she doesn’t get it quickly ad then keep on moving. Breggar is possibly working with or for a mage called Allorin, which is an unusual combination. It seems only Alana can contact Adara at the moment as her power wains, but she is told to seek out a powerful artifact, a dragon’s claw, and Kell goes with her, as it needs a dragon to access the main caves, although it will need both of them to get to the claw itself, which gives immortality. The mage, Allorin, is losing his current life force and needs this to get to his ultimate aim of becoming immortal! They will have a battle to keep this important relic away from their enemies and ensuring the power of it gets to Adara. If Adara doesn’t make it to the temple site on Earth, then dragons and druid will all die. The aim of mages such as Allorin! Blue and his little fox are lucky to be alive and while she may hate his ability to read her mind all the time, she will be happy to find he is her mate and will never leave her. Final part to come and reveal all shortly. I received an ARC copy of this book form BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

I knew the moment that we met Alana in the previous books that her book was going to be special. And it is. Alana is Mara’s younger sister, and due to a misunderstanding, where their mom, thought Mara wasn’t a Druid, Alana distanced herself from her sister. She had caused poor Mara so much pain over the years and finally, they hash it out. I’ve been waiting to find out all of these whys and wherefores for a while now. Finally, my questions were answered. They are a doozy too. As Alana is the Druid known as the Seeker, it is her ability and job to find artifacts to assist in the temple’s return. In this book, there are so many overwhelming revelations. She finds her disc that she needs to put in the temple, but she is badly injured and we find out who her dragon mate is. Yup, it’s the title- Kell. I knew his story was going to be awesome from the moment he was introduced. I was not wrong!

Alana doesn’t believe that she deserves anything after what she has done- neither forgiveness from her sister or a mate like Kell. It broke my heart. I found the interactions between Alana and Kell to be both sweet, funny and romantic. A few made me lol. Alana is very snarky with Kell too, and she is very independent, but she is also exhausted as she has been on the run for years. Honestly, after finding out all she has gone through, I really don’t know how she survived this long with what was after her. I really loved the story and I can’t wait for the next book. I hope it is Rhadan and Tempest’s story. Fingers crossed, lol.

I think for me the highlight of the whole book was the backstory between Kell and Alana. Both believed the other was the made up friend who got them through the tough times. They could always hear the others voice if their head. Alana is a bit of a sad case because she hides from love and is ready to give up. Kell's strength is exactly what she needed. He was a very take charge man who wouldn't be intimidated by a strong woman. Alana getting a chance, thanks to Kell, to reunite with her sister was an important part of the story as both woman and all of their Druid sisters needed help.
I like the artifact hunt to save the others. One big problem for me was Alana's age. Something about her being so young just didn't feel right to me. She seemed older but maybe that was because her life had not been kind.
My final assessment is that if I had to choose just one series by Tia to continue, it would be the New Immortals. This book was good but the New Immortals were my favorite. Of course, if not for the New Immortals I would have never read any other books by Tia. I do recommend the book and I definitely recommend the author.

Alana, the seeker is a strong person. She has learned not to rely on anyone. She has her secrets and is hard pressed to reveal them. I loved how she reconciles with her sister Mara.
Kell is determined. He has spoken to Alana for several years, thinking it was a dream. When he realizes she is real he does everything to connect with her.
I loved reading how they met, how he saved her. From there it is a rollercoaster of emotions for both of them.
Action packed from the git go. Steam to the romance. The backstory is coming to a thrilling climax as well. Almost all of the pieces are in place for the temple to move.
Can't wait for the next dragon to get his eternal mate.

Alana and Kell . . .

Alana Krane, the seeker, has had to be strong since she had no one else to rely on. She has secrets that she won’t share. Kell, a dragon, has spoken to Alana for several years, although he thought it was only a dream. Actually, she is real and he will do all he can to find her. So while Alana relies solely on herself, Kell, her fated mate, needs her to trust him. Can she do that? When they hunt for an artifact to save Adara, as a dying mage goes after it as well to prolong his own life, will they begin to rely on each other?

The story line is exciting, and the characters will keep you cheering for their success. There are many emotions for the reader to share, especially when they acknowledge they are both real and are fated mates.

This was a great book and I loved everyone involved and how Alana had to learn to rely on others and not just herself and when she does need help her best friend Kell is always there for her because she is his mate and that they can hear each other no matter where they are. Putting their lives in dangers while trying to save her people the druids and her sister and when Kell brings the to of them together make Alana love him even more. Thinking everything is a dream has them both realising that when Alana is in danger he races to save her life. There is so much more to this book that I know you will enjoy just as I have.

Oh so good!! Alana's quest of finding relics has brought her home. Bringing her to her mate Kell. Alana has always lived a life on the run due to her past. She has protected them by staying away. Finally she opens up and tells her sister, Mara, why she left. Now with the truth out they all need to come together and save Adara and the rest of the druids. This is a amazing series, that I highly recommend. Tia has done an incredible job with each story. Self discovery, finding purpose, and being loved for who you are. Who wouldn't want a dragon of their very own.

Alana Krane is a seeker and has spent her life finding relics trying to save Adara and the temple. Oh yeah, and also trying to keep ahead of her stalker Breggar! She and her mate Kell have connected mentally not realizing they were mates. But when Alana lies dying, Kell gets to her in time to save her life.

Alana has sacrificed her whole life to save her sisters, but Kell is the strength she needs to reconnect with her family. But the two of them will need all of their combined strengths to fine the final relic that could save Adara. Lots of action and I love me a good dragon!.

This is Kell and Alana's story they are both enjoyable characters along with all of the side characters that are well written. Their attraction was strong and their chemistry generated lots of sparks. The storyline was engaging and offered a solid amount of action, danger, twist/turns, enemies, loyalty, happiness, romance, and emotional turmoil as this couple relationship evolves into more than they ever imagined.

Kell and Alana get off to a very early start, not realizing they are real and alive, as well as mates. This continues the Dragon Rules series in fine fashion with lots of hot dragon shifter sex and the bad guys interrupting them at every turn. They must get Adar’s and the Temple powered back up before it’s to late and the Druids & Dragons are lost to our world. 4✨’s for a fantastic story and believable characters.

Kell and Alana are mates and in the years before they get together, they can hear each other, giving support, but think it is a fantasy until they actually meet. Terrific addition to the series, with drama, danger, backstories coming back to haunt them, steamy romance and deep feelings. Great supporting characters and vivid locales give it even more depth. Loved their chemistry and determination. Great ending.

I enjoyed the story very much. I have to confess that I will be going back to the beginning to read from there to here. I loved Alana and Kell. It's funny that they believed the other was make-believe. Kell is strong and that's what Alana needs as she hides from love. She leans on his strength to unite with her sister and the other Druid sisters. There is action, twists/turns, secrets, truths, steamy heat, and love. Do they get the Adar's and the Temple's power back on in time??? Find out.

Druids and Dragons

Interesting, Kell is Kell, while Alana is quirky and troubled.  Ms T makes you feel as if you are in the room listening to their convo.

This is a very involved story and yet, it's not. Simple to follow but it involves so many others.

While it's not necessary, if you are a true reader you are going to want to read them all. I did.

Kell and Alana, all the druids and dragons are unique and so,so interesting. The bonds they share are beautiful and I can hardly wait for more. I volunteered to read and review an advance reader copy.

She's been running since she was a teenager, all because her mother said she had to.
When in reality she was part of the bigger picture and just has to be willing to allow her mate to be there for her and she won't be alone any more.
She's not used to relying on anyone ek's so this is definitely new for her, but he is her future.

Alana and Kell are fated mates inside dreams but will they realize they are in real life? This story is a great continuation of the series, love the heat and action, the twists and turns and Alana having to come clean and rely on someone other than herself. You definitely need to read the series from the beginning to enjoy it more.

All the stars should go to this book, it is full of characters that will have you cheering them on from their first mention of them til the last page. I loved this book it works so well in the universe that these characters live in.

I will say there is quite a bit of suspense with this book and I love that the books are resolved in the book for the couples but there is still the overall story that keeps all your attention. Tia has outdone herself again.

This book has Alana feeling guilt as she has to accept that Kell is her mate and her sister doesn't hate her. Kell has to keep reminding Alana that she is good and that he will never leave her. Their connection to each other will be cemented as they work together to find the artifact that will help save the druids and dragons. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
