Rate this book
DON'T EVER LET SOMEONE COUNT YOU OUT.

Life can change in an instant. For twenty-year-old Aaron Baker, not only did a neck injury leave him paralyzed from the chin down—it also nearly killed him. The doctors told him he'd never feed himself again.

Until he did.

Instead of giving up, Aaron went all in and rebelliously achieved things he was told would never be possible.

The Rebellious Recovery follows Aaron on a mind-expanding, odds-defying journey from quadriplegic to inspirational figure riding a bicycle across the country twice training for the Paralympics, starting a business and a family, and more.

The emotional story of failure, success, heartbreak and accomplishment has something for every listener. From Aaron's story, we see an optimistic even on the darkest days, we hold the power in our minds to overcome anything.

What will you do when life happens to you? Follow Aaron in this memoir and see how opportunities rise from ashes.

Are you ready for the ride of your life?

I completely enjoyed this book.

Aaron's story is one of so much strength and perseverance. This book was written with transparency and honesty--I have come away feeling like I know him.

As a person living "well" with multiple sclerosis, I identify with how it feels to not have your once athletic body do what your brain wants it to do. Positivity and purpose are key.

You are on my list of heros, Aaron.

Baker is a brilliant emerging writer to be able to express in words every emotion he felt and every adventure he sojourned. I was impressed with the articulation of his experiences as he walked us down memory lane. He captured vividly his journey, at times gut wrenching, other times triumphant. This book was all heart. Loved the QR codes with photos and the cover is absolutely radiant. Thank you for sharing the ARC of your memoir and your inspiring story of resilience.
