OMG, I loved Love’s Deep Cover! Why did I wait so long to read this book?!!! After putting her dreams on hold, Trechelle is finally becoming an FBI agent. As luck would have it, she’s pulled from training and assigned as an undercover agent on a huge case. This case will take her to our favorite winter getaway in Crescent Falls. For the next six months, Trechelle’s alias is tasked with getting close to the owner of Greyson’s Funeral Home who also happens to be the prime suspect in her case. When she meets Kaamal Greyson in person, the lines are immediately blurred, and the moral tug of war begins. Kaamal is the true definition of BDE. He commands the room when he walks in, and he demands attention from everyone. From the moment Kaamal lays his eyes on the new resident of Crescent Falls, he’s immediately smitten with her. He pops into Mahogany Books every day under the guise of pickin’ up his copy of the Wall Street Journal but, it’s just a ruse to be in the same space as the cute bookstore owner. Now, while he’s wining and dining and making plans with the future Mrs. Greyson, Kaamal is unaware that he’s the subject of a federal investigation. It’s not often we get a MMC who is completely clueless about the goings on around him and Kaamal had absolutely no idea what was transpiring under his nose at Greyson’s Funeral Home. When everything comes to light and the players are revealed, my guy is crushed and heartbroken. Cue the violins. 🥺🥺🥺 Love’s Deep Cover had me hooked from page one. I was completely wrapped up in this story. It was suspenseful, sexy, and romantic. I loved how Trechelle immersed herself into her undercover persona. Sis was having an identity crisis but, the good kind. Look, don’t be me. If you have not read this book, add it to your TBR now.

C H A R I T Y Y Y Y, why do you keep doing this to the people!!! You betta give us an meffing storyline!! I mean, she always comes up with the most unique stories & they are executed so well! I’m telling you that after reading the first 3 chapters, I was L O C K E D I N … okay!!???
Kaamal Greyson, just oozed T H A T N I * * A throughout every single page from the BEGINNING! It had nothing to do with the fact that he was an Ex NFL player, turned funeral home owner. Well at least that didn’t matter to Trachelle “Reyna” St. Patrick, an FBI agent in training. They were immediately drawn to one another when Kaamal became Trachelle’s first case! I’m telling you their beginning to end was written so perfectly, I was soooo invested from the time they first met until the very end! Their relationship was written so well, & BAYYYBEEEEHHH the spice was SPICINNNNN !!
Now, or course we have to mention the clown squad! Jordyn, Keshia, Autumn, & Jameson! I don’t know which one was the biggest clown, but they all fall into that category for sure!! I feel that they all got what they deserved! I believe Kith should have received more of a consequence in this story. I get that he struggled with things during his upbringing, but come on, at what point do we grow up 😬😬.!
I hate that the case went unsolved, I was hoping for a resolve for that! Maybe an idea for a part 2 🤔.! Now, I do wish that the story was a little longer and more detailed toward the end, but this still gets a standing ovation!! Well done 👏🏾 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾!!

Love This Story
….This was a really good story…I enjoyed the unconventional development of the relationship between Kaamal & Reyna (Trachelle)….I thought Kisha had more of an agenda, but to my surprise it was cut and dry…just about advancement…Now, I’m wondering about Kith…if we will hear from him….I think he will have something to prove as far as growth.

This interesting story caught my attention right away. Whatever free time I had, I was reading. I'm always here for a undercover storyline because I wanna see how it all plays out. After years of sacrifice for her partner, Trachelle has decided to follow her own goals and become an FBI agent. With a troubled marriage and an unsupportive husband, the news of one of her first assignments is to take on a cover identity. There is an investigation against Kamaal and his funeral parlor, but he is unaware of it. When he met "Reyna" for the first time, he was immediately smitten and ready to risk everything for her. Kamaal knew what he wanted ugh I wanna order a Kamaal. He was so consistent with his feelings and his actions. When Jameson didn't want a kid and made her ( Trachelle) miscarry out of stress, I realized he wasn't shit. I was giving everyone the side eye. Having a snake-ass-grimy-ass-friend is a trait I despise, yet it keeps popping up in the stories I've been reading lately. Because I can't tolerate characters that act like they know everything when they don't, Kith hasn't yet won me over.

Love's Deep Cover was so @#%$*^% good!!! Even with all of the mystery and suspense, the love between these characters flooded the pages and my heart. I need a Kaamal in my life ASAP! Dear God, it's me again. I've seen what you did for Trechelle and I'm just asking for the same. LOL!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Love's Deep Cover has definitely taken over the number one spot as my favorite book of 2024.

Charity Shane continues to pen unique storylines with memorable characters. Kamaal and Reyna are my newest faves. This intriguing story is one that captured my interest quickly. I was reading every chance that I could.
Trachelle has done everything to support her spouse and now it’s time for her to pursue her dreams of becoming an FBI Agent. One of her first tasks is to go undercover; with a rocky marriage and unsupportive spouse the news causes more tension. Kamaal has no idea there’s an investigation featuring him or his funeral home. His first encounter with “Reyna” had him smitten and ready to risk it all. He wasted no time manifesting a relationship and I was squealing with stars in my eyes! Kamaal was truly 1 of 1, I mean the man had a library and read to her!! *I’m In Love.. I’m Obsessed*
The chemistry between the characters was intense and felt organic but it wasn’t “real”. I knew the truth would hurt both characters but I was heartbroken, as well. This is a story that has plot twists, steamy romance, literature influence, and villians that caused so much chaos. In the end, the heart wants what it wants! Amazing Story!

What a different storyline Charity, but I'm wit it! I applauded Trachelle for following her dreams, although she got constant pushback from her husband. She supported him while he accomplished his dream, why couldn't he be there for her? Something was off with Jameson right from the start. He just wasn't present in their relationship fully, and I knew he had something up his sleeve.
Trachelle got the opportunity of a lifetime, being handpicked for an undercover spot, and she had yet to graduate the academy. She was willing to do almost anything to prove herself to her superiors. Her cover as Reyna, the bookstore owner seemed easy enough, until she met her target, Kamaal Greyson.
Kamaal easily took his family business to the next level, with compassion and empathy at Greyson Funeral Homes. He took great care of his clients and loved the confidence his community had in their services. Finding out someone has purchased his favorite bookstore; he can't wait to meet the new owner.
Kamaal was confident, assertive, smart and sexy, Reyna didn't stand a chance at resisting this man! When Kamaal wanted something or someone, he was laser focused and nothing would get in his way of success. His eyes were on Reyna, and she was good as his!
Things moved quickly between Kamaal and Reyna, that she sometimes had a hard time remembering that she was on assignment. Kamaal's intentions were clear, and he moved with precision to get his woman. The almost daily flower deliveries, private dinners and the time and attention that he gave Reyna, had me swooning! 🥰
That damn Kisha! Why did she have such a hard on for Kamaal? It was almost like it was personal, and she wanted revenge or something! I was waiting to find out that she was one of his jump offs, and she wanted to get her lick back! 😂 What kind of professional did she call herself being, by not looking into every and any avenue there was, if she truly wanted to solve this case? Ughhh..... 😡
Kith! I get the pressure of living in your brother's shadow, but damn man, you go about it this way. Putting the same brother that would do anything for you in jeopardy? I felt bad for him, a little, naw scratch that I don't! Selfish ass! 🤬 He needs to grow the hell up and get his ish together; as this could have gone left for all of them!
My heart broke when Reyna was forced to confront Kamaal in that manner, and her true identity was revealed! I wondered if they would be able to come back from this, as Kamaal was devastated with the revelation. 💔 Kamaal wanted to stay angry with Reyna for the lies and dishonesty, but his love for her wouldn't allow him to stay away too long. Enjoyed the drama, suspense and most importantly the love. 👍👍👍

This story was sooo good! Definitely in my top 3 from Charity Shane. The whole time, I'm telling my husband the story & he thought I was talking about someone in real life. We were both invested.
Reyna was really out here risking it all for love. I probably would, too, for a rich, handsome man who spoils the heck out of me & loves me down!
Kaamal was a dream! Talk about a man that goes after what he wants & once he gets it, he treats it like precious jewels. Jordyn fumbled that one!
This is the book I would recommend to someone who wants to read a Charity Shané book. I couldn't put it down.

Okay now this is also very different, who would've thought going under cover, one would whined up with the love of their life. Such an interesting and entertaining read with drama but loads of cute moments and of course a HEA.

I absolutely loved this captivating and mind-blowing page turner! Grabbed me by the collar and wouldn't let go. Betrayal is a huge theme in this story and Miss Charity rocked this bad boy!
First, this is an awesome reminder of how, if you don't want to lose everything you have, you have to cut some family members loose. Kaamal is building up generational wealth, for his family, through their funeral home business. And his greedy, super selfish brother, Kith, with his band of super thugs, would purposely risk jail and death, with no regard to how it would destroy Kaamal. And after ALL that Kamaal had done to look after Kith. CUT HIM LOOSE!!!!!
Next, Miss FBI Kisha. The whole story I was convinced that she was a throw away, Kaamal hook -up, the way she only went after him. But it turned out to be something else altogether.
However, My girl, Reyna - Trachelle came through like a champ for the man she loved!
Nevertheless, I loved how Karma kicked Jameson and the side chick right in the ***!

I’ve read one series by Charity in the past but this story was completely different. I really enjoyed it and I can see the growth in her writing.
Trachelle is a rookie in the FBI and was placed undercover to get close to Kamaal Greyson who was suspected of smuggling through his funeral home business. Trachelle was eager and excited to go undercover but honey, she and Kamaal had instant chemistry and lines become blurred almost immediately. Kamaal applied pressure from the jump and I loved it. Undercover she is Reyna and due to some craziness in her personal life - she begins to love Reyna’s life. This book will have you giving everyone the side eye. Check it out!

If you all don't read any other book this year read this one. This book has resuscitated me from the depths of boredom..😅 This book is hot 🥵and spicy🌶. Seriously, Charity Shane' has done it yet again. She had taken me to the lovely city of Crescent Falls and made me fall in love with it's people💋. This was an emotional rollercoaster🎢, but I loved every minute of it. I was cutting up 🤬 in the wee hours of this morning, but I managed to hold it together. The love that I have for Crescent Falls and it's people is real. Nope, I'm not name dropping on this review either🤫. Do yourselves a favor and read the damn book. Onward Charity Shane' 🥰

I’m So In Love
First let me say that my gut told me Jameson and Autumn were foul as hell. I love the instant bond that Reyna and Kamaal formed. I was a little worried he’d never forgive her. Kith rubbed me so wrong from the very beginning. You hate living in your brother’s shadow but use him as much as you can. The way that Kamaal and Reyna connected was so organic. I love how even though she was doing a job she allowed it to just flow. Kisha was a bird and I’m glad Collins was there to keep Trachelle abreast of things. My gut tells me that Nilou is connected to Barnes and that’s why she can relate to Reyna/Trachelle falling for who was thought to be a bad guy. Book 2 me please!

I absolutely loved this book. I don’t know why I’m just now reading it but I’m so glad I did. Reyna and Kaamal were so cute together, literally had me smiling with every encounter.
The chemistry between the two was instant and Kaamal was not letting up in his pursuit of her. He knew she was his one. As she fell deeper and deeper for him I knew he was gonna be so mad when he learned the truth. I found myself constantly saying tell him girl lol and also asking the author to let her be pregnant I just knew that would soften him.
My assumption of Jameson and Autumn was spot on and I’m so glad it happened when it happened. Trachelle was able to truly live life as Reyna and found a love that she truly deserved.
Kith was trash and could’ve literally caused Kaamal to lose everything. Reyna knew her man was innocent and while I wish she had told him what was up her testimony was the saving grace they needed.

True Love covers All
I enjoyed this story a great deal about how true love covers what it loves.
I have to admit I knew immediately what was going on with Jameson and Autumn 😡. I just hate that it took Rayna so long to discover it.
The chemistry between the two main characters was really special. Once he made up his mind that she was His person , there was nothing stopping his pursuit….and than life happened and only true Love could cover them from the devastation that was building up against them.
The book left me with a few unanswered questions , and I would have liked it if it and been a little longer, however it was still an entertaining read.

I loved this book! The plot was different one I have not read. I started off rooting for one couple and then things went left. I got so caught up in the chemistry between the FMC and MMC I just did not want to book to end. Kamaal Greyson has moved his way to one of my favorite MMC this year! Loved this!!
Loved Kaamal and Reyna! Kaamal went full force behind Reyna. He meant she was going to be his and he didn't stop applying pressure until she was. Even though she had a job to do, Reyna couldn't help falling for Kaamal. I loved this book!! If you haven't read anything by this author, you are truly missing out!!

You all I dislike Hoodreads. My review just disappears from this site frequently. The bottom line. I liked the FBI story about a good guy caught up in an FBI sting operation by a bitter agent. The love story part was nice, and the story was an enjoyable read.

Absolutely adored reading about Kaamal and Trachelle they were so cute together. I love a good cop story. My favorite scene was going in on the ex of hers and old girl loved it. Kith was a mess but I loved that bond between brothers.

Undercover love
A complete story ! Reyna and Kamaal had a instant attraction. Once she dropped some negative people from her life she thought she would be able yo.to is of n work but she was wrong. Kamaal wanted go be family team player but it almost backfired. Kiith need his behind beat and Kisha need a crazy pill. Completely engaging book from beginning to end

Great plot
The story plot was good. I was highly invested in Reyna and Kaamal. I wanted a little more depth when it came to Jameson and Autumn. I wanted to understand what led to this betrayal and really why Autumn would stoop so low. In addition, even though the book said Kisha’s motives were ambition and her just following instinct and not the evidence, it just felt like more and I kind of wanted more. I liked the ending and that the HEA wasn’t immediate. Overall it was interesting with a good amount of spice.

Love’s deep cover
I really enjoyed this book and I’m glad I decided to go ahead and read it after debating on it for a little while. My hesitation came because the synopsis had a lot going on and I was skeptical if this storyline could be pulled off successfully and I am pleased to say this author did that with this book. Reyna Trachelle St. Patrick was a vibe all by herself and I loved her even though at times she seemed a little naive or willfully ignorant about certain things.
Reyna and Kamaal were such a cute match and I loved them together. I loved how he loved her and was intentional in his pursuit of her. I also loved how Reyna stood by her man and was adamant that he was innocent and made sure to shout that at every turn. These two had some hard times when the truth came out, but love overpowers all and they were able to get things back on track.
I loved how this author was able to separate while also combining the lives of Reyna and Trachelle and I feel it was written so well and made it easy to follow along with the two identities. Trachelle may have been undercover as Reyna but she came truly came into her own and found herself while living life as Reyna and I loved that for her. As Reyna, she found true unconditional love and someone that was willing to give as much as they received, which made it easy for her to do the same.
I highly recommend this was because it was a great read and kept me engaged from beginning to end.

Loved it
I really enjoyed this book from beginning to the end. Now Kaamal was a damn good big brother. He should have made Kith pay for his wrong doings some kind of way. Then for him to think that everything was ok. Yeah he got off to easy. I hate that Reyna waited so long to tell Kamal the truth but I’m glad everything worked out with them. They both deserve a happy ending. Jameson thought he had it made with Autumn 🤣. But he got his Karma and she did too. Overall I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more.

I couldn’t put this book down until I finished it. One thing Charity is going to do is write an amazing male character. Kammal was everything and the way he planned dates are what every woman deserves to experience.
Tracelle being an FBI agent missed some major signs when it come to her own marriage but I’m was happy when she finally let her gut instincts to come to play.
I loved everything about this book. I ate it up. Charity can write her butt off and can’t do no wrong in my opinion.

This story was everything! NTMA just added her whole catalog to my TBR! Kamala….. whewwwww… dat man… dat man… my my my! So many times he left me speechless. This story did not disappoint. There were so many emotions experienced throughout the story. Nothing was left unsaid & everything was necessary to make sure we knew everything. Absolutely enjoyed every page of this novel! Highly Recommended!
