Steve Zuckerman has enjoyed a long career as a music composer, orchestrator, and author. At nineteen, he began his musical career, writing and creating the soundtracks for many “Sesame Street” animated shorts. He has also scored films ranging from the uber-campy “Spawn of the Slithis” to the super-sweet “Winnie the Pooh and a Day for Eeyore.” Additionally, as both a composer and copywriter, he’s created hundreds of television commercials and has published numerous short stories and novels.
While this series has been entertaining, it is definitely not passive in tone or action. Mass conflicts, multiples of deaths, and some cold hard reasoning make this not an easy read. The technology is mostly mystical or magic, with barely tenuous links to science or reality. This was (is?) the series end and yet much remains unresolved and unexplained.
I’m happy for the ending but left panting for more! Great writing style kept me glued to my screen... Characters are instantly likable and as real as they can be in a wild story like this... Wow! Loved it, sadly it took me only 4 days to read all 6 books...
