Jamie Malton is an American, non-fiction writer. She is the author of Killer Case Files: Jamie Malton’s Best True Crime Series which is an anthology of crime stories where the author examines the homicides perpetrated by murderers and serial killers.
Drawn to the how and why of real crime stories and fascinated by the detailed police work, DNA reconstruction, and genetic genealogy, she started writing her books to share the details of these stories with her readers.
For book research, she splits her time between the USA and European destinations where she often visits some of the places where crimes have occurred.
With criminal apprehension and victim restitution as a personal cause, she donates a portion of her book sales to charities that fund DNA reconstruction to solve cold cases and charities that support the families of murdered victims.

Well written and looks at many stories that I am unfamiliar with. I like that these victims have not been forgotten. The book also helps victims as a portion of the revenues from the sale of Killer Case Files go to charires that fund DNA reconstruction to solve cold cases as well as charities that support the families of murdered victims.
This book contains 20 cases including obscure crimes that have not been covered previously by other authors and shows. Jamie doesn't hold back from the gory details, which admittedly is something I enjoy in these books. Jamie clearly has a talent for writing true crime and it's evident that she has put time and effort into her research. This book was as enjoyable as the others in the series. Jamie has a way of writing that drags you into the dark worlds you are reading about, and making you not want to put the book down.
