A Surprising Conversation!

The Craigslist Model is a book about a photographer having a conversation with a model that he clearly feels close to. They are discussing the recent passing away of another model who had found him on Craigslist. It was surprising to me, because I was expecting there to be photographs of models, but there weren't. This just gives one a glimpse into what the photographer faces on a daily basis. It was an interesting read. I gave 4/5 stars, due to some foul language that I felt could have been left out. If it were, then the book would be open to high school students as well. I'm sure he just did this for authenticity sake. It is a very short read, taking about 30 - 40 minutes. I would recommend this book to anyone. I look forward to reading more in the future. Bravo Gene Geter!

An Inspiration, Highly Informative
Photography is an art that most people have not yet appreciated enough. However, what people ought to know is that there is so much more to photography. The Craigslist Model by Gene Geter is a masterpiece, with a unique approach to photography that provides precise details about how photography can go up to answer a lot of questions. The author brings out photography in the form of a dialogue between a model photographer and his friend who worked with modelling agencies. The talk about photo sessions makes it more engaging and gives the reader a feeling of involvement. For a long time, photography has been my passion, and I mostly take photos of various places that I travel to. However, I had not yet captured the whole idea of actual photography, but after going through this book, I felt so much absorbed in it, and I was able to learn a lot about photography. The most significant aspect of photos is that they can inspire and generate moments in life that could always help us remember where we came from and where we are moving. Photography is a part of life that everyone should take part in, by first reading this book—a great book, filled with exciting and informative realistic conversations. I highly recommend it!

THE CRAIGSLIST MODEL is an intriguing story, not only about who is in front of the lens, but also about who's behind the lens. Camera angles are important as are the expressions and mood of the model, and sometimes, if the light is right and the photographer clicks at the right moment, he captures more than just the face.

The author cleverly tells this story via dialog on Messenger, which, in itself, I found a rather creative approach. I can certainly recommend this book. It is a quick, enjoyable read that will leaves you wanting more.

Not what I expected

Not what I expected, I thought it would be a series of stories about photographers and crazy models. It is a conversation between two friends, one of whom doesn't like a third person who has passed, and one who doesn't seem know how he feels about that third person.
I wanted it to get better, but it continued as a complaint fest until the end. Save your money.
