"This British billionaire likes my hands on his ""package.""
I’m an assistant tailor at a men’s clothing store. It’s my job to hem shirtsleeves, put on buttons, and cut lapels for custom suits.
One day, Sean Jones walks into the store. He’s a gorgeous British billionaire with jet black hair, piercing blue eyes, and a hardened body like a warrior. As the tailor, it’s my job to ask him if he “hangs” left or right in his pants. But Mr. Jones doesn’t want to tell me.
He wants to SHOW me!
OMG. The alpha male can’t be serious.
But he is … because his package is HUGE and he needs a curvy girl to take care of it!
Maggie gets the client of a lifetime when she meets the dashing, domineering Sean Jones. He has an accent that makes her sparkle, as well as an inseam that would make the average woman’s mouth open in surprise! But our sassy heroine knows exactly what she’s doing, and gives the OTT alpha male a run for his money. As always, there’s a baby in the end and lots of laughter and surprises. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and always an HEA for my readers."
I managed to get 66% read of this book before I gave up because I was ready to spew. The heroine is sickening. At the age of 25, who lets their parents dictate their life? This girl apparently. This book just does nothing for me. The author goes to great extremes to describe Maggie and Sean’s sexual encounters, but even as a virgin Maggie seems to love sex. But the author then try’s to have you think of her as this down trodden girl under her parents thumb. She nothing but a wimp. It was just to much for me to finish, the last straw being when her parents lock her in her room, and take her phone and computer off her. Like hello?....
Maggie lives a very sheltered life with strongly religious parents who at age twenty five is still under her parents rule. She starts work at a prestigious store who make Taylor made suits for the financially well to do. She has just started a job as a junior assistant tailor. Maggie loves to design clothing and wants to be able to design wedding dresses.
On her first day on the job, Maggie hears a beautiful voice belonging to Sean Jones from the front of the store, so she peeps through the curtains that hide the tailors from the view of the public. Maggie sees the most handsome man there who has a British accent. He sees her peeping and convinces the shop assistant to let the youngest tailor to help take his measurements.
Sean is captivated by Maggie and once they are alone swoops in and kisses her. They are both swept away with their attraction and start dating, but Maggie has to hide the fact she is dating a non believer. They keep their relationship secret till one night they both fall asleep after their night together and Maggie’s parents lock her up as punishment for having relations outside of marriage. They take her phone and computer away from her to keep her under their control.
Sean is struggling because he hasn’t heard from Maggie in over a week after that fateful night, then he receives a text telling him that Maggie needs him urgently, he discovers her locked up and breaks her out and takes her home with him. They build a life together and they live happily ever after.
I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and review with my honest and fair opinion.
Is a good book with a couple twists in it I honestly thought I'd never read. I really wanted to smack Maggie's parents. All's well that ends well. The plot was good still and the characters were well written. No back tracking on pages to find something out.
Maggie's life isn't the greatest due to her overbearing ultra conservative parents. What she wouldn't give to have normal life outside their rules and nitpicking. Then she meets Sean at her new job... and the sparks that fly will positively burn you♡
This book was good until the crazy stuff involving her psycho parents. Maggie is 25 but she allows her parents to control every aspect of her life. She’s afraid of being grounded, allows her parents set her up with a date with a guy she doesn’t even like for an arranged marriage. Then her mother demands she quit her job and never speak to boyfriend Sean or her best friend again??! Is she high?? What normal mother of a 25 year old adult says this?!! “How dare you!” she shouts. “You’ve disobeyed our rules, and you will pay the consequences.”
Then they lock her in her room, for an entire week, taking away her phone and laptop and putting them in their safe?!! Umm…that’s illegal being held against your will!! No one has the right to imprison you. What in the actual hell is wrong with her parents and Maggie for allowing them to treat her like that?!! There is no way I’d EVER allow my parents to treat me like that nor would they. So far I’m not crazy about this book.
After she’s rescued, they actually joke about meeting her parents when they should be in jail for abuse and imprisonment. Glad the book got better in the end although I’m not happy that her absolutely insane parents got away with what they did to their own daughter. The emotional abuse by the parents in this book should have been handled much better and received jail time which is the reason why I only gave this book a 3.
Maggie is 25 years old, starting her first “ real” job and a virgin. Oh yea, she also still lives with her parents who own a dry cleaners. They are also extremely controlling to the point that Maggie still has a curfew of 10:30 pm. PERIOD. Maggie meets Sean on the first day of her job at a very high end gentlemen’s suit store and so the love match making begins. Maggie eventually gets locked in her bedroom with no phone, computer, tv due to breaking curfew ! Her parents lock her in, makes her quit her job and is allowed no one to speak to. Enter Sean to the rescue ! I loved this story. You will enjoy this read, make a pot of coffee because you will not put this book down until it’s finished!
There is nothing to like in this book. The way its written was very immature. The conversations were littered with exclamation marks so it seemed like the characters were shouting to one another or they were overly excited about everything and anything. Maggie's character was childish. She was supposed to be all sheltered and innocent but came across as dumb and clueless. I'm not sure on which planet there exists a 25 year old whose phone and computer got confiscated and then got locked in by her parents for being out and sleeping with someone. A little too extreme and a lot unbelievable. I totally regret wasting my time reading this book.
Maggie’s story is heartbreaking. Can you imagine being 25, living with your parents and still having a curfew? Not only that, she’s never been on a date!! But to make it even worse (if that’s even possible) they’ve just picked out her future husband ( she knows him and definitely not interested) when she just met the man of her dreams. You won’t believe what happens next.
I wanted to love it but only liked it. Tbh the series is the same over and over, each book its a virgin, Insta love who all like anal!!! The storyline is pretty much the same in each book so nothing too exciting. It was just a bit stale, and needs editing. E.g. He ran a mile in 10 minutes changed to be ran 10miles in the next paragraph.
This was an absolutely wonderful read. The twist in the plot was great. The family dynamics was pretty crazy. The love and passion the characters shared was beautiful. The ending was so sweet.
Maggie was obviously too scared to stand up to her parents. I can't believe they locked her in her room for a week. Lucky for her, her best friend texted Sean and let him know she needed help. I really enjoyed reading this crazy book.
Maggie's parents are totally not all there. Grounding a twenty-five year old daughter because she broke curfew is ridiculous. So glad Maggie and Sean get there HEA away from Maggie's parents.
There was so much going on in this story. Absolutely shocking and heartbreaking before the good stuff. Sad to think that is happening to someone in reality. But love conquers all in the end.
Hot steamy sexy story about how a mature man if forty five meets a woman of twenty five and instantly wants her. Having been very protected by her Parents it an interesting romance.
Absolutely loved the story and the love between them but I think her parents were absolutely awful to her. We should all be so lucky as to find a man like him.
I like Maggie and Sean's story. The plot is great. I didn't like Maggie's parents as they are very strict and controlling. All of S.C. Adams books are great and have HEA

Maggie wants to be a designer of wedding dresses but her strict parents want her to run the dry cleaning business they have. She gets them to allow her to go to work at Havisham's to tailor clothes because they think she'll get over wanting to work outside the family business. However Maggie loves her new job and wants to keep working there. One day Sean goes in to buy a suit and have it tailored for him when he sees Maggie peeking out from the back. He asks for her to do his measurements and things heat up between them. When he can't stop thinking about her Sean makes another appointment just so he can ask her out. When they go out Maggie uses her friend as a cover so she'll be able to leave. It doesn't take long before Sean gets her to agree to see him again. When their second date has them sharing the night together Maggie knows her parents are going to be upset. When she arrives home they confront her and end up locking her in her room. Will Sean get over being mad at her to save her from her parents? Will they be able to be together?
This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
This was one of my favorite books from S C Adams. I easily read the book in one sitting. Sean and Maggie were fantastic characters! Sean meets Maggie at Havisham's. It's Maggie's first day on the job as an assistant tailor. Maggie is bored and hears a beautiful voice coming from the front of the store. He has a British accent and looks like an Adonis with the bluest of eyes. Then to Maggie's surprise, Sean asks Maggie's manager for Maggie to get his measurements. After an intense twenty minutes and both are hot to say the least, they go to the dressing room to get down to the good stuff. Sean leaves the store. But neither of them can stop thinking about the time they spent together. Not that that will even happen again in Maggie's world. Maggie is twenty-five and never even been kissed until Sean. Her parents are the strictest of strict. Maggie still lives at home because they won't let her leave. They believe in a ten o'clock curfew. No sex before marriage. They would never approve of someone like Sean...rich, CEO type. But Maggie and Sean continue their relationship secretly. Thatnis until the inevitable happens. I highly recommend this book!
Maggie starts a new job which is a miracle in and of itself because her parents are very, very strict. She has curfews but at her age of 25 it seems ridiculous. She's never had a boyfriend, hardly ever goes out for entertainment. They are that out-dated. Maggie does have one friend, Jenna, that helps her. So Maggie starts as a person who tailors peoples suits at a a very well known shop. Sean needs a suit for a friends wedding and goes to get fitted. Maggie is the person who takes the measurements. Something clicks between Sean and Maggie. They get a little down and dirty. They start dating and this is all new to Maggie. She doesn't tell her parents as they wouldn't approve. Until one day something happens and she doesn't come home one evening after going out with Sean. Her parents literally lock her in her room and take her phone and computer. She has no way to get to Sean. Until one day it all comes together. Sean comes to save the day! Read all about it. Loved the HEA.
Another great read by SC Adams who once again brings strong characters and an entertaining story line. She pulls you in with her descriptive writing and detailed scenes. It's instant attraction with a hot chemistry between Maggie and Sean with sparks flying and passion flaring. But it's not all smooth sailing. There's misunderstandings and family issues to overcome before they can reach their HEA. Told in the dual POV , you get both of their thoughts and emotions as the story unfolds. I enjoyed reading their story and especially loved the epilogue.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
I steamy romance. Maggie and Sean's story was very fun and I loved this couple's chemistry. So easy to read and completely enjoyable, this book and its cleverly crafted blend of heat, emotion, drama and excitement delivers an extremely delightful reading experience. I am freely choosing to post a candid review.
A beautiful love story about a business man that comes to buy a suit and sees a beautiful girl. This book has drama, romance, love, suspense, twists and turns, intrigue, and hot , sexy, steamy, sizzling chemistry. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and gave my honest opinion.
Exciting, hot and steamy, suspenseful, intriguing and much more. To work in a men's clothing store in itself must be exciting. Boy, what questions to have to ask. Then along comes this hot British guy who would rather show you. And now what do you do especially since you want him so badly? I recommend it. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
