Just like the title says, the book took me into a parallel world… I loved every bit of it, the storytelling, the concept, and mystery expertly woven into this sci-fi book, hence the five stars…
Who could've thought that 'Schrödinger's equation' can be made the basis of an entire book, mixed up with human, scientific and technological evolution.
The book was full of intrigue, suspense, and fiction that revolved around facts giving a peep into the limitless possibilities of human mind.

"Parallels" is a captivating read for teenagers and young adults, offering a blend of science fiction, adventure, and romance that appeals to those intrigued by the concept of parallel worlds. The writing is fluid and straightforward, making complex scientific ideas accessible without overwhelming the reader.
The story's pacing is tight, keeping the reader engaged as Thomas and his son Dan navigate the dangers of government persecution and the challenges of inter-world travel. Rio, a strong-willed and resourceful girl, adds depth and a touch of romance, enhancing the story's appeal to a young audience.
Although the initial pursuit of Dan alongside his father might seem somewhat implausible, this minor flaw doesn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the story. "Parallels" is both entertaining and thought-provoking, offering an adventure that explores the possibilities of science and the resilience needed to navigate unknown worlds.

This book was different to anything I had read before. It really caught hold of me from the beginning, stretching my mind and encouraging me to see the world in a completely different way. I had heard of theories of parallel worlds, but never really given it my thought, but this book took me to the heart of the theory and made me think, so much so that it continued to haunt me even after I had finished reading. The book is based on Quantum physics which I also dont understand, but you do not need to have that scientific knowledge to enjoy the book I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes to be pushed out of their comfort zone and enjoys being mentally challenged to see life from a different perspective.
I wanted to give this book slightly less than 4 stars but couldn’t. It was okay. It held my interest and the pace was good. I realize when we talk about parallel universe books we need to suspend disbelief but I want the rules to be consistent. In the case of this book it seems like the author was playing “Calvin Ball.” Fans of the comic strip Calvin and Hobbs will know what I’m talking about but essential Calvin ball is a game in which the “rules” constantly change and morph based on what Calvin wants to have happen. I put all time parallel universe, books up against Dark Matter. So on a scale of 1 to Dark Matter this book is a 5.5
Enjoyable quick read about parallel worlds. This book combines ideas used by both Keith Laumer and Orson Scott Card in their parallel world novels. Luzzatto does credit to his variation on the ideas. The characterization depth of the main protagonists is fine and their age and behaviors do fit their characters. Enjoy!
I thought the scifi element of this book was really well done. I was hooked from the first page and going on in this world. The characters were really well written and worked well with the story being told. Kfir Luzzatto has a great writing style and I'm excited to read more.

Won this on a Goodreads Giveaway. Wonderful book that hooked me from the beginning. The two main characters are engaging and interesting. Never would have thought a cat would inspire interesting science fiction but it did and put out interesting thoughts. Author wove together a magical story and will be checking out more of his books.
Intriguing premise and excellent explanation of parallel universes without being overly complicated. The dialogue is a bit mature for teenagers. Rio tends to be too motherly, naggy, and annoying but maybe it is an accurate depiction of a teen girl in love after all? Parallels makes up for Rio with adventure and a solid plot.
