This was a complex, convoluted story and it was, at times, hard to follow. The many, many characters and story threads were ultimately clarified. The H and h were strong, likable characters though I am not sure I would have forgiven the groom so readily for his choices. There were many twists and most of them were 'family' related. This is where the threads were introduced and finally came together to achieve a HEA.
There were also some questionable things: an undercover cop had a whiteboard and other documents in his apartment just waiting to be found??!! Not likely.
Well written and it kept my interest. I was so impressed with the h and her ability to put her love and faith in the H above his behavior and the general opinion of others.
I have read all of the other books and this one was my favorite. It had plenty of defined characters with their own personalities. Sometimes, it's hard to have so many characters and them all have their own voice. Layla did a good job with that. The drama started from the beginning and kept my interest until the end. There were a couple twists that kept it interesting. (Even though I had figured one of them out) It was well written. I couldn't put it down. Read it all in the same day. Can't wait for the next.
Dumped this book at 30% because it simply didn't appeal to me. Guy owns bar and does private investigation when cases appeal to him. This book in the series focuses on violent and criminal hard-core bikers who abuse women, and control their wives. Of no interest to me.
What starts out with a wedding ends with another... In between Taylor tries to unravel the mystery of her missing Fiance. Tossed into the mix ..bad Bikers with questionable business practices. A great read with a number of surprises.
