Jesus: The Missing Years

Rate this book
"The Bible tells us of Jesus' birth and of His being in the temple in Jerusalem when He was a boy of 12. But then there is no further mention of Him until about 20 years later when He starts His ministry. Where was He? Why did the Bible not say?

"After an intensive search and study of The Dead Sea Scrolls and other ancient documents, I found where God gave instructions, through His Prophets, for the preparation of a place in the wilderness for His Son Jesus. The instructions were followed. A place was prepared. We have found the instructions that were followed to so seclude Him.

"After appearing in the Temple at age 12 Jesus was taken to this secluded place in the desert. It was there that He was prepared for His ministry.

"We have found the scrolls that He studied and the ruins of where He studied. We have learned why His being there and the so called missing years were kept a secret. Read and learn more about Jesus the boy and Jesus the man." —Walter Parks

My principal interests are true stories of the unusual or of the previously Unknown or unexplained, although I also write fiction.
After graduating from Mississippi State University as an aerospace engineer I moved to Orlando Florida and worked for Lockheed Martin for 24 years, advancing to a Vice President of the Company and President of the Tactical Weapons Systems Division.
I continued my education with a MBA from Rollins College and with Post Graduate Studies in Astrophysics at UCLA; Laser Physics at the University of Michigan; Computer Science at the University of Florida; and Finance and Accounting at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
After retiring I produced 10 films, directed 7 and wrote 5 all at Universal Studios.
I formed UnknownTruths Publishing Company to publish my books of past events so unbelievable that most people have relegated them to "myths".
I have published 22 books and have an additional 9 in development.

Very thourough analysis showing the parallels between Essene and Jesus' teachings, a must read for anyone intererested in roots of Christianity. It is very obvious that Jesus had essene roots, the book is however ignoring historical evidence showing Jesus' spiritual travels during the 'missing years', well evidenced in Tricia McCannon's 'Jesus: The Explosive Story of the 30 Lost Years and the Ancient Mystery Religions'. If you enjoyed this book, Dolores Cannon's 'Jesus and the Essenes' offers an interesting perspective.
