Follow Gary Barten and his dog Michael, as they pursue the brutal men who have kidnapped his daughter.
They were about halfway through breakfast when Michael stood up and faced the door, growling.Gary calmly drew his pistol and said, “You girls get into the bedroom.”
While the girls were doing as they were told Mrs. Jennings walked into another room and came out with a shotgun.
“Maybe you should go in with the girls,” Gary said.“I’m fine right here,” she said as she cocked the hammer.

Michael
Sometimes details really matter. The author never explained what happened to the other horses that belonged to the outlaws, or what Gary did with all the outlaws guns. It makes stories more believeable with details added.

Michael by Gerald Hartenhoff, Emily Pruitt. I loved the characters in this story. It was a good western drama with the added bonus of the dog.
