Want to start reading about poker and poker playing? Start with this book! It’s very detailed about mostly everything.. Starting from the history of poker, player and their stories, casinos, tournaments, online and live games, etc. It’s an easy read, even for someone who is not a native english speaker nor an advanced player. It contains information about all the popular poker variations: Texas Hold’em, Omaha, 7 Card Stud, 5 Card Stud, etc.

It also contains basic skills and strategies to implement as a beginner but if you want to learn more about that, go for David Sklansky: The Theory of Poker.

I definitely recommend this book to all of you who want to start learning about poker.
