WAS A GREAT BOOK BUT IT ENDED WITH YOU IN LIMBO WONDERING WHAT HAPPENS NEXT AND WANTING A LOT MORE. IT WAS WRITTEN THIS YEAR SO IF THERE IS A 4TH BOOK, WHICH i HOPE THERE IS. AND IF HE CARES ABOUT HIS READERS HE WONT LEAVE US HANGING BUT i WILL PROBUBLY HAVE TO WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR TO FIND THAT OUT. i AM ADICTED TO THIS SERIES IT IS GREAT. MAGIC, ADVENTURE, MYTHICAL CREATURES IT HAS EVERYTHING.

This book was the best of the series. It had twists and turns that made me keep wanting more. It is a shame it took three books before it got good. I actually want to read the next one now. I just wish somebody would teach Talis how to fly.

Great adventure

This journey was even greater than book 2. Talks Mara and nikulo trying to get back to their earth, to save their city. But deceived by strangers, the order, amc family.

Sadly this may be a three because of my own personal interest during the read. Overall I feel as though this books content and flow of writing is a significant improvement over the first two in the series I personally wasn't entranced. I found my interest minimal and as the reader, the consumer, I am entitled to that opinion. Regardless of my own guilt if this story was truly better it would have broken through that wall and grabbed me refusing to allow me to put it down. Too harsh? I believe I am entitled to my opinion but overall John Forrester's writing is slowing down and explaining concepts better, even if it did take three books to do it.

Book 3 is very fast-paced, it may be a little too fast paced. Some time should have been spent in the beginning of the book as to the continuing attacks by the Jiserians, as to how how Talis helps the wizards, and thier swaying loyalties. Why won't they teach him to fly and how much time has pasted? The stage would have been better set if theses questions had been answered, and they still don't get answered at the end of this book either. As for spelling errors, which are alot of them disrupting the reading so much so causing you to reread several times trying to figure out what is being said. Still a Good read!

Not sure if I'll ever finish this series. I find the quality dropping with each new story in the series. Too many similar storylines and "twists" that appear in every fantasy of this making.
