When not penning the next novel, J.E. Feldman focuses on mentoring authors and raising money for charity. The literature world is merely one facet of her life. Feldman haunts car shows, anime conventions, medieval fairs, and whatever else catches her attention.

She enjoys road trips ripe with history, crocheting blankets for the homeless, and can be found reading in cramped bookstores.

I feel bad giving this only two stars when others have given it four or five, but a lot of the stories just didn't do it for me. I understand it was an anthology, and in this case, it probably had a word limit, but some of the stories were a little too short or a little too rushed. I always felt like the ones I wanted more of were the ones that were the former and the ones that didn't quite mesh with me were of the latter category. A lot of them had cool and interesting ideas, but I don't feel like any of them were mind-blowing or anything, hence why I didn't give this five stars.

There were a lot of fun and unique stories in this collection. A lot of authors pushed the imaginations of their readers very far. I enjoyed it.

My favorite story in this anthology was by Melissa Robitille. It was exciting with well developed characters and beautifully written. I would love to read more of her stories. I also enjoyed Darkness Closes in by Layne Calry and The Great Depression by Nicole Curniff. Several of the other stories had an unfortunate number of grammar and editing errors that took away from their enjoyment.
